Ms.Birkin, how is the weigh/weave of this as compared to a regular GM? Do you know anything about who designed it and is it brand new for F/W? It seems like a cross between a GM and a mous.

Andee, in case she doesn't see this... I ended up getting the one I posted in this thread..... it's like the one you posted but the colorway is different. It is very, very lightweight and seems sort of fragile. I think saying it is a cross between a GM and a mousseline is pretty accurate.

It's also a different "animal" from the cashmere GMs... it is more like a ready-to-wear item than a collectible shawl, scarf, etc. To me it seems very different from the GM shawls.

With that said, I really do love it.

Thanks as always KG. I am looking forward to your posts on Monday with some modeling. I am not sure about the disctinction of RTW vs a collectible. The cws in your shawl are more my style.

OMG! Both the Damier & Graphique are simply gorgeous. Keep this up, KG, and you might just succeed in turning me into a scarf gal yet... so much for saving $$$.

The Damier shawl is fantastic, thank-you VERY much for these pictures KG. I've been lusting over the Damier shawl since I saw it in Le Monde with the manlier accessories, I think it would make a great scarf for cold British winters I love the rust, licorice & saffron combination which is on Page 15 in Le Monde

These colors are fantastic!! I love the border detail on these shawls, since you see so much of the border with the way I wear scarves and shawls.... I hate a plain, boring border.
