07 Plomb vs. 09 Anthracite

07 Plomb City and 09 S/S Anthracite Day. I just got the Day today and am amazed at how close these two bags are in color and leather.

Wow, they are pretty close. I've got 09 Anthra SGH Day and although I absolutely love this bag and colour, I may have to let her go because I'm expecting an 07 Plomb SGH Brief.

That may be hard, LOL. The two bags should be different enough since the Brief will be bigger, right? Since the Plomb is chevre, I was surprised that the leather is so similar, too. Please post comparison pics when you get your Brief!

^^ On *bay from another wonderful tpfer and at a great price! I would definitely get the 09 S/S Work if you want this color combination. The leather on this Day is really thick, too. This is my first GH piece, so I may be "converted," too! I thought when you saw this, you would be on the phone with Bal Cannes, LOL.

I hope you don't mind me adding to your thread, Louis_gal. It makes more sense to post here versus start a new comparison thread. I own an 07 SGH Plomb city, an 08 SGH Charcoal/Anthra city, and an 09 SGH Anthra midday (spring/summer season).

The Plomb city is darker than the Charcoal city, and the midday is in between both. My Plomb is dark grey with a strong navy undertone (that really isn't captured well in pics). Both the 08 city and 09 midday have more of a steely/silvery blue undertone. Below are some comparison photos without flash.
