07 Envelope Clutch Question...Chevre vs Agneau?

My Violet envelope clutch is a chevre. But I start to think Angeau can be great quality too. My Amethyst city starts to break in really nicely. I saw a friend's 09 SS black city that she uses daily, and it's very soft and squishy! However, the ones with nice leather are still in the minority. Good for me xp

from my understanding, agneau started being introduced into non-metallic bags in f/w 07 - so you'll see a lot of vert fonce, plomb, mogano etc. bags with agneau AND chevre. only paper tags will let you know, sight unseen or felt of course, if you have a chevre or agneau bag.
agneau started being used exclusively in s/s 08 (except for the camel leather bags - those are the ones that look like doctor bags)...
it seems as if the 09 bags are holding their color and are less veiny than the 08's. HTH

I love the 08 Marine leather too!! Actually, there are plenty agneau bags with great leather. I should've realised earlier!
