This is a tough one...both colors are very neutral and beautiful. I was conflicted between the light caramel with ghw and the tan with shw. I had seen The tan in real life and loved it, but was conflicted because I prefer ghw. Anyway, I didn’t want to have any regrets so I ordered both to compare them side by side. I took pics of both and posted them on this forum. I think this was in Jan or Feb...if you want to search for them.
Anyway, I kept the tan. I preferred the color and the smooth leather of the tan. The hardware on this bag doesn’t stand out imho. I wear the bag with gold and silver jewelr. I have no regrets, but I knew that I had to see both bags irl so that I didn’t question my color choice later.
Btw, I think the light caramel and tan shades are definitely as versatile as the sand/mink color. Tan literally goes with everything, can be worn easily all year long, and adds a little pop (of color) to most neutral outfits while still being a neutral color. It sounds like I’m leaning towards the caramel, but I do love how the two shades of the sand mink bag complement one another. Taupey shades are also very gorgeous.
