Help me decide...vintage Hermes Kelly 28 or Moynat Gabrielle PM

Thank you for saving me from a bag purchase I might eventually regret down the road. No wonder that bag has been in the store for years and the store owner was conditioning the bag as he was trying to sell me on it! I've also researched the asking price further and found that the bag is actually priced slightly higher than comparable Kellys on popular resale sites. Not the great deal that I originally thought. Now I will be on the hunt for a vintage Kelly in Vert Fonce armed with much more knowledge!
Probably a wise decision :) Good luck on your hunt! Your dream Kelly surely is out there waiting for you!

Help! Which colour Saddle should I get?!

The blue one looks absolutely gorgeous, especially against the gold hardware. Almost got one for myself but I hardly see anyone using the saddle bag thats why I didnt buy. Did the saddle bag trend die off?
You know I thought the same, that’s why I held off. But yesterday in Knightsbridge I saw at least 10 people wearing the saddle and when I went into the Sloane Street store, for the duration I was there, at least 4 people came in asking to look at it. I like bags that sit flat against me and it does offer that. I think it’s here to stay for a bit with all the versions they are bringing out.

Strap Drop (Shortest Setting) on Rambler Crossbody?

Can anyone tell me what the strap drop length on the new Rambler is when it's on the shortest setting? Or how the Rambler works for you if you're petite?

I'm under 5 feet tall with a short torso so I'm wondering if the strap length will work for me. The strap on my Cassie is a little bit longer than I'd like, even on the shortest setting, so I'm wandering if the Rambler can go any shorter. The Coach website says it has a 21" drop, but doesn't say if that's on the shortest or longest setting.

Chaine d'Ancre bracelet Vs. another solid silver bracelet

I’m looking at the H Chaine d'Ancre bracelet (silver chainlink). I also saw this bracelet https://lucasandstone.com/product/chunky-silver-link-bracelet/ and would love to know if the Hermes version would be measureably better, other than of course being wonderful because it’s Hermès. Both are solid, or at least I assume the Hermes bracelet is.

Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Personally, I would buy the Hermes one, because I would not like knowing that I am wearing something that is a 'ripoff' (I know that it is not the world's most original design, but still). As another example, I would not buy any shoes with that specific stud design that are not Valentino for the same reason -- not because I would only wear designer shoes, but because it feels strange to me.

If that would not bother you and if, perhaps, you are not sure that it is your style and that you would wear the bracelet often, then buy the non-Hermes one. There are probably similar designs available at multiple places as well.

Got called fat by a sales associate today, so that was fun

The only time I have had lack of customer service was when I visited the stores in London (New Bond and inside Harrods) as I was not acknowledged at all. That was fine with me though because the prices are more expensive there than in the US. I have been to stores in a lot of various states and dress very casual. I was probably wearing just Tiffany silver jewelry each time, but was always asked if they could help me find something. Even when I do not purchase or purchase something small, they were always friendly. Guess I got lucky.

Hermes sellier 32 Porosus crocodile

I just spent a small fortune on a kelly sellier 32 Porosus crocodile from Rebag. I measured the bottom and it measures 33cm not 32cm. I own numerous other Kelly’s and everything else looks amazing. Not sure if the measurements can be that off?
I have a 2 Kelly 28 sellier, measures more like 29 across the base. I think it's quite normal.

Scallop hems swimwear size.

May I ask if you are TTS Italian 40? I’m also interested in LV swimwear. Did you end up with France 34? Thanks:smile:
My Europe size usually 34, but somehow Hermes Swimswears are very tight for size 34, so I go up one size :36.
But LV size is true to size I think, I could take size 34 but I am afraid that I will have a so tight thigh that will leave me a mark I don’t like. So I ended up with 36 and I think I will ask them to make it shorter in length.

Calling everyone in France!! Shipping service from France to Denmark?

I had a similar issue where I wanted to order something online but the company didn't ship to the US. I've used a site called Parcl twice with great success. You indicate what you want to buy, where it is from, cost, where you need it shipped to and from, and people/shippers provide quotes and options for you. I just had a package arrive today - cookies my parents love from the UK that aren't sold in the states. The shipper ordered them from the Amazon UK site link I provided, once they arrived they shared pictures to prove it was really there, and then they shipped FedEx overnight to me (I could have chosen slower shipping, but these are for someone who isn't long for this world so any price was worth it to get the favorite cookies here asap).
Thank you so much, this is exactly what I needed! Thank you! :hugs:

Another Le Pliage Cuir Crossbody Bag

I bought a navy blue Le Pliage Cuir crossbody bag about two weeks ago and I love it. It’s so easy to use and fuss free. So today I went to get another one in a different colour.

The bag I got earlier is in this thread (https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/my-new-longchamp-bag.1030820/)
Congrats! This is my favorite bag.

Antigona Crease ??

The dent in the red bag pic you posted looked like it wasnt stuffed when in storage.

The pink bag pic looks more like it's been well used and has softened a lot, in addition to not storing properly, ie not stuffing it to keep its structure, when not in use.

It also depends on leather. The shiny leather seems to be harder than the sugar, so it probably keeps it shade better.

Saint Laurent - Sea Salt colour

i saw this color in person yesterday and i bought the WOC in sea salt! it is STUNNING. I would say its very neutral and leans more of a light tan with grey tones. In some lighting it looks lighter and in other lighting it looks grey ishView attachment 4818854
Based on these pictures, i adore this color. Such a beautiful nuetral.

Hermès Aventura Mall, Florida

I personally would go a bit south to Makoto in Bal Harbour Shops at 97th and Collins. Of course that would put you halfway down to the design district as well.
I was trying to avoid getting that south bc i will be north of fort lauderdale for work and only have a couple of hours to shop. I may try to go to hermes dd on the way to airport if possible.
