Tiffany is a marketing-driven luxury company. Even pre-LVMH acquisition, they outsourced manufacturing of much of their silver jewelry to speciality workshops. That doesn't necessarily mean that the quality was in question, but would you have paid 3x or 4x for a silver bracelet just because it said "Tiffany & Co." had you known that it was made in a 3rd party workshop in Brooklyn?

Personally I think that under LVMH it will be no less "authentic," and evolve into more fashion-driven.

Idk what else will have to look. When I polish the brass I don't notice. When I compare it to silver it doesn't look silver either, but is a lighter color. I have a Nikki just like that I'll try to check it.

I just have to share this. Been looking at these two inspirational looks from Pinterest of a white waistcoat. I found one at Zara (ordered online), and when I took it out of the box and put it on, it is just divine! The quality is great, the fit is perfect, and frankly speaking, it looks like a $500 piece from Net-A-Porter!

I used to own a GM Neverfull and now own the OTG GM....hands down would pick the OTG....it’s different and I’ve loaded mine up for work and honestly don’t find it any heavier than any bag would be that I load up

I have found some amazing bags in new or nearly new condition on resale sites! I have never understood why people are so fearful of resellers. Maybe it's the off chance they will be inconvenienced with a return? Maybe they have no available credit so it ties up their funds if they have to return something? I don't know, but I am fortunate enough to have several vintage and limited edition bags that I would have missed out on were it not for resale sites. I would suggest the following: A) Find a seller with clear photos and excellent feedback. B) Have it authenticated if you'd like. C) If you are a collector or you are searching for a hard to find item, be grateful for resellers. They are also taking a risk to sell to a stranger and they lose money through the fees and shipping they have to pay on resale sites. It's not out of the norm for them to pay 15-20% in fees.

Bumping this thread again! I love the heart cannage/motif but every time it's either sold out or comes out in a size/ colour that is not suitable for my personal use I'm also still waiting for the perfect size and colour (pink/latte/ beige) (i.e. Lady D-joy small in heart motif/ Dior caro small, etc.)

I echo what has been said by others above. Your purchase was obviously very expensive and I would also recommend going to a reputable authenticator if you have any doubts whatsoever.

Closing this thread now as it's on a question of the bag's authenticity which is not allowed outside the designated thread.

While LV won't fix it, if you want to continue to use the bag you might be able to bring it to a cobbler.
I had a very well used Hampstead brought in with the corners very bad and they fixed them quite well.
