Nano Speedy strap?

Am I crazy ? I want to get the Nano Speedy but I am 5'1 and know that the strap will be to long for me . And there are times that I know I will want to take off the strap on it . Now this is just an idea ,as I have no intention of reselling my bags. I want to cut the strap off and put on an adjustable Vachetta strap ( LV bought online ) that I use on my Eva Clutch . I want to use that strap on the Nano .
Would anyone short like me do that?
I’m 5’2” ish, when I got the nano speedy I was concerned about the strap length, but then I realized I wear it crossbody all the time so the strap actually works.

Best bum-/waist bag for city? And best for hiking? Plus POLL for fun! :)

I have 3 from Gucci:

Love this one as it fits tons. Usually bring it at the Amusement park, etc

This one I wear as a crossbody. I find it too big as a waist bag

This one I used as a waist pack and it only fits the essentials: cardholder, compact wallet, keyholder, med pills but my phone doesn't fit. It is from the kids' line

Dior J’Adior Pumps vs Valentino Rockstuds

I have both - I find the Valentinos to be much more comfortable than the J'adior slingbacks.

J'adior slingbacks are definitely very much still in right now, but I have the same concern as you regarding whether they will stand the test of time. Valentino Rockstuds have been around for over 10 years now and aren't exactly the most hip and trendy of shoes anymore, but are definitely still a classic and will still be around in many years. It helps a lot that they are very comfortable to wear.

Over time, the wear and tear on the Valentinos will be a lot better than the J'adior because the J'adior are fabric and will be harder to clean / keep pristine. At least with leather you can wipe it clean. I haven't had any issues with the leather on mine being not durable, but I have the smooth leather versions and not the patent. I have three pairs, one of which are around 7-8 years old now and still look great.
