I’m 5’2” ish, when I got the nano speedy I was concerned about the strap length, but then I realized I wear it crossbody all the time so the strap actually works.

Take it to the YSL cosmetics counter and ask. I'm sure they'll know. Color also looks differently on different people. What works for her may not work for you, you may have to go more orange or more purple depending on your skintone, but I will say YSL colors are all very pretty.

I saw a lady pull out her Chanel purse from a regular shopping bag and Hermes offering plain white paper bags to be inconspicuous while walking around the city. With an exponential increase of crimes in broad daylight, I don't feel quite safe using favorite (luxury) bags especially when venturing out alone.

You can try bringing it to a leather specialist to see if they can clean it. I suspect they cannot. They may be able to redye the brown side (it is just brown leather spray paint), but that will change the texture and feel of the leather to make it feel like it has been spray painted.

I have used round spring clips to even them out, just have to play with them until you get the look you like. I have seen similar ones on Etsy too.

I have both - I find the Valentinos to be much more comfortable than the J'adior slingbacks.

J'adior slingbacks are definitely very much still in right now, but I have the same concern as you regarding whether they will stand the test of time. Valentino Rockstuds have been around for over 10 years now and aren't exactly the most hip and trendy of shoes anymore, but are definitely still a classic and will still be around in many years. It helps a lot that they are very comfortable to wear.

Over time, the wear and tear on the Valentinos will be a lot better than the J'adior because the J'adior are fabric and will be harder to clean / keep pristine. At least with leather you can wipe it clean. I haven't had any issues with the leather on mine being not durable, but I have the smooth leather versions and not the patent. I have three pairs, one of which are around 7-8 years old now and still look great.

Pochette Métis! It is not that loud looking, and fits decent amount of daily necessities.
