having had a rose azalee bag and having currently a rose lipstick bag, I will tell you that the colors are VERY close EXCEPT azalee is brighter - has almost a more fluorescent quality. I personally prefer lipstick. Here are some photos of each -

I have been able to get samples without purchase. They are samples, not sure what the big deal is. If I was there every day getting samples I can see the SA would reject.

Isn’t that the truth, bigger phones and smaller purses! I am very thankful to have my mini. I looked for a while and bought it about a year and a half ago and paid around $700. The prices have since seemed to skyrocket for ones in decent condition. I wish this size would be made again and in azur. Wouldn’t that be cute?! I’ve thought about the noe bb in azur for a couple years now and finally just pulled the trigger on a second hand one. Got tired of waiting for them to be back in stock plus the new vachetta scares me. I live in sunscreen and just didn’t want to stress. Plus I had a store credit so made sense all around. Yeah noe! :biggrin:

Sofias are somehow slightly more spacious comparing Capucines as they don’t have the middle leather divider and the opening is bigger therefore it’s easier to reach things inside. Speedy and Sofia are totally different in shape. A speedy 30 is roomier. If you purchase a Sofia make sure there is a return policy in case it will not work for you. On another note, IMO, they are great bags

@Seeeca I really can’t, which is why I wrote that I had no idea - it’s been mainly from observations here in the forum, and in looking at photos of old vs new. @V0N1B2 would most likely be able to give you exact information, as she is our eagle-eyed and in-person observer - she’s been to boutiques to see DL items, I believe...

Since most of what you’re paying for when shopping for these luxury items is the name, I think it’s an important thing to consider when shopping.

For example, chanel is my favorite brand. I LOVE their marketing (fashion shows, ads, etc), i find coco Chanel’s story very inspiring, and I like their aesthetic more than any other fashion house. Given all of that, I think the price is worth it, at least for now.

Even though you COULD get 2 bags from those other brands, they will not serve as a replacement for 1 Chanel bag if that’s the one you truly love.
