on another note, its just looks like someobody got the vachetta wet / rained on thats why the colour has changed. Vachetta is a naked / untreated leather and that is why it changes colour.

Fuchsia sounds so cute!!!

I vote for the small. I think it looks lovely on a smaller wrist. You may regret going larger as times goes by.

I actually just checked the UPS website and apparently they said they will hold it at the local store for 5 days after 3attempts before sending it back. I am just not able to reroute it myself because I needed the invoice number from slip which they didn’t leave. Just misleading because LV told me otherwise and so did the UPS agent I spoke to so I’m still unsure.

I am not sure to be honest whether it’s a general policy or by the SA.. I also don’t know about the boutiques.. Sorry!

I was told that the purple slgs were long gone about a month ago. I see them pop up on fashionphile but I’m not willing to drop a grand for a cardholder just because I love the color.

Out of the two, I'd pick the Daniel Arsham one. It's so lovely. Also second going to the boutique, especially since it's your first bag. It's much easier to see which you like better (or if there's another bag that you didn't consider) when you can put it on, put things in it, try it out, etc.

Hi everyone. I’m unfamiliar with how SL does different seasons. I want the Baby SDJ in Fog croc embossed. In store for 2020 it’s $2750 plus tax but I found one on Fashionphile for a lot less but it’s from 2016. It’s says it’s in Fog as well. My question is, are there any subtle differences I should know about? Should I save $1000 and buy it on Fashionphile or what would be a reason to buy at full price? Thanks for the advice!

I understand this to mean the natural aspect of the leather. Those look like wrinkles from being bent - to me anyway.

The only thing that is better is the 10 pts per dollar for the top tier, which, on a triple points day, get you 15% back in a gift card. Getting at least CLOSER to Saks where you get 18% back...

Another question is: do you want to wear it with the shoulder strap? If so, and if your bag doesn't come with one, Hermès can make you one (special order), but it will be expensive and probably take several months or even a year and you probably have to send the bag in for that. I found a beautiful Kelly 28 from the 90s, and I was contemplating buying it, but ultimately decided against it because of this issue. For the price of the vintage including the special order strap I would get one in better shape, with original strap.
And yes, the price varies a lot depending on the shape of the bag. I would never get a bag with cracked leather, the chances that it can't be restored properly are huge, but these kind of damaged bags still go for a lot of money on the second hand market. Of course, Hermès can help you out and completely replace the damaged parts, but this might me more expensive and time-consuming than getting a bag in better shape in the first place. A Kelly for under 2000 will most likely be in unbelievably rough shape, regardless of its age. It is not easy to see from the pictures if the leather is damaged beyond repair. I would only get a bag with some kind of buyer protection, ask the seller very specific questions about the condition of the bag before buying so you can make a claim if it doesn't fit the description, and get the bag autenticated as soon as you have it. I can see nothing on the pics, sorry, not on focus and too low quality but yes, they should be hallmarked if they are gold/silver and sometimes if they have diamonds

If you do a search on make up stain, there are a variety of recommendations from micellar water to making a paste of . . . But, I think many of these are for leather linings.
also, I would take it to a trusted dry cleaner or bag specialist before attempting home remedies Depending on the value of the bag and your tolerance risk (mine is actually relatively high)
for a prestige brand, you can also try doing a search in the individual designer forum.
