usually when small sellers are screwed out of one bag worth a couple thousand thepolice turn the other way! Unfair
Especially when you buy a bag and it turns out to be fake

There was a lady on YouTube who had a bag in this colour, she put it in the washing machine. Haha not sure if I would be that adventurous, but if this was my wallet, I would use an old soft toothbrush, take out some gentle baby soap and bicarbonate soda, and start cleaning the wallet.

You can retouch the leather paint easily as well. Not much to lose really by diy cleaning, and it’s not worth while to send it to a professional as it’s very readily available in be vintage market.

I bought this beautiful vintage bag locally and I am *telling* y'all it is 100% passable as black! Do any other ladies have experience with "dark brown" Chanel bags? Am I missing something?? Am I totally color blind? I think maybe she was a good price because she's labeled as dark brown.... I had an appointment yesterday at the small pop up store at the Venetian in Las Vegas. They allowed my husband to accompany me after I booked my appt on line. I saw 2 other couples if that helps any.

I recently bought the Florentine Cameron crossbody satchel in black/black. I think it’s cute and a good size for minimal carry. But, the opening and the upright handles are very stiff and rigid making it difficult to get in the bag. I am on the fence about keeping it. Will the opening and the handles relax (soften) a bit with use? Thanks!

I’m glad you were able to try both on and decide. I had the same issue with the 17 where I could turn it 360 degrees easily and it also fell lower on my palm than I wanted. It’s why I ended up getting the 16.

Hello, does anyone have the cabas 'H en biais' in size 40? Can you wear on shoulder, is it comfortable, or too heavy? I am considering getting one for travelling purpose, and would like any advice (practical or not on planes for example), etc. Thank you in advance.

I totally agree with MOP being so pretty, probably the prettiest of the alhambras. I would probably have chosen that one right now if it worked as an everyday bracelet and if I wasnt so scared of scratching/discoloration. But I will sure get it later on, for summer time.
So I might start with onyx as a company to my YG and more as an everyday stack, and then add MOP as an accent.

When Hermes will do a really good and consistent job on RTW, I will start buying something else than sweaters and cardigans from them.
So far they haven't proved being good at making us dream (like @mariagraziachiuri does with Dior), they havent proved being good at dressing real bodies for everyday life (like Muccia @prada).

I'm looking to buy my first vintage CF! Like many I love the idea of buying one from my birthyear (1993) - everywhere I look it seems the 2 series bags are said to be made between 1991-1994. Does anyone know if there's a way to determine the exact year from the serial?

I've found one with a 28XXXXX code.... from my research it looks like it could be a 93/94.

Hit me with that Chanel knowledge! xxx
