I think it mostly comes down to demand and production — hammered finishes are more specialized, so brands might only make them in small batches or to order. Adds to the exclusivity, but definitely means a longer wait!

Not a huge fan of these. I can see people buying them if they have a sentimental attachment to one of the books - for example, I love Dangerous Liaisons and saw the ballet with my husband which was spectacular - but not sure I would necessarily pay this price for one.

I have JUC and Love in small and tried the cuff bracelet with diamonds from Chaumet Bee my love collection and I fell in love. It brings some special spark to the rest of my stack. Check out this collection.

As a matter of course, whenever I receive a package with a high value item,I film myself opening the box from two different directions.

If I return a high value item, I film myself packing everything up, including videoing the condition of the item from all angles, all accoutrements, and the final, finished sealed package, again from two vantage points.

That way, you’ve protected yourself inasmuch as possible.

That being said, I hope you get your $ back.

You can read the prespend thread linked below. (prespend ratio generally refers to non-leather categories for maximum impact)

If one client buys a lot of leather bags and accessories, it might take her longer to get a QB offer (all things being equal). And, of course, for clients who are VIP or who also spend generously, the outcome may be different

To add to what @nicole0612 and @Sophie0121 said about the clasp and motifs, another key point is that the motifs in a bracelet are closer together than in a necklace. There are 5 links between each motif in a necklace, but there are only 4 links between each motif in a bracelet.

This means if you link two bracelets, the motifs will be closer together creating a heavier look. It's not quite the same as the look of a true necklace. I personally do not like the hodge podge look of combining bracelets and trying to make it look like a necklace.
I vote to get a proper necklace.

Great to know! Was definitely worried about the lack of humidity and now they are out of the boxes they should be fine and getting air flow.

@kitsch08 did you end up getting the bag? As others have said, I think it looks absolutely fantastic for the age. ALL bags will eventually show wear - it's just a matter of how long some will look pristine new. If you only like this brand new look, then better to just buy new. But imho, I much prefer for someone else to take the "depreciation hit" (to use a car analogy) on the price and then I get a bag that I don't feel I have to baby so much. Plus if you are a bit crafty, it's easy to minimize the look of this kind of wear, especially with black, using a bit of conditioner and perhaps some leather dye or paint.

Great . If I were to get anything, it would be one of the cosmetic cases since I don’t have any. Not sure which one yet. I am guessing they would be sold out by the time I am eligible to shop. And that’s ok since I really love my XS’s and don’t really need more LCs
