Hammered Pieces - Why are they not in store & have to be special ordered?

I think it mostly comes down to demand and production — hammered finishes are more specialized, so brands might only make them in small batches or to order. Adds to the exclusivity, but definitely means a longer wait!For example a RG or YG 10 motif require special ordering if they’re hammered and take months. But if they’re isn’t with stone than it’s readily available - what drives the difference?
