Hi All! I know that caviar skin can differ from seasons and batches of leather; however, I recently got a wallet and the caviar is not very bumpy at all. It’s very smooth and you can barely feel the caviar “bumps”. Is this normal? It’s almost like a smooth leather that is only embossed to have a slightly textured feel and the bumps aren’t as raised or textured as my other caviar pieces. The bumps are very flat.

I don’t mind if this is normal, but is this a “bad” batch and the caviar should be more pronounced? Does anyone own caviar pieces that are quite smooth and not as textured? I’m wondering if it holds up well over time as a more textured skin would. Thanks!

I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Chylak’s shell bag! It’s got a lovely unique shape, but I haven’t heard much about the brand. It would be great to hear about everyone’s experiences!

I have the cartier juc bracelet and the 5 motif guilloche bracelet and wear them regularly and would like to get a necklace of one of them.

I love the JUC choker but the idea that it is hollow and has a wire system kind of bothers me. Does anyone have it? How durable is it? The classic solid one is too heavy to wear daily.

I also love the VCA 10 motif guilloche and was planning to extend it and attach to it my 5 motif bracelet to make it 15. I love it the same as the JUC, hence the dilemma.

Or should I just get the Bulgari serpenti viper demi pave. It also has a wire mechanism which I question how will it stand the test of time?

Which would you choose to purchase first:
- Cartier JUC choker (small no diamonds)
- VCA guilloche 10 motif necklace
- Bulgari serpenti viper yellow gold with diamonds on the head and tail.

I'm in my Loro Piana era at the moment and I just got the Loom bag 25 in calfskin, creamed honey/sun gold. It is so beautiful! I was expecting the color to be more beige/cream though but it is a little on the pink side. The leather is thick and supple and it has suede lining inside. It came with a couple of locks that pops (so no key), strap and a removable pouch. The size is similar to a birkin 25 but looks bulkier because of the shape. I'm looking forward to wearing it and hoping it wears well as I'm already eyeing more colors!

I can’t stop thinking about the medium Rodeo bag but can’t decide on color! I just bought a black Bottega so I’m leaning toward latte or grey. I like the gold hardware on the latte but I don’t have a grey bag. I’m also planning to get charms and most of the charms I’m finding are gold, not sure if it matter is the hardware color matches but I think it might bug me if it doesn’t. Please let me know your opinions! Pics are helpful too as I have no place local to check out the bags in person.

I just moved into my Ivy Gretta Coated Cotton Drawstring for the first time.
It's a room bag and relatively light weight. The shoulder strap is wide and
slightly tapered. It's also removeable.
There are multiple slip pockets inside.....but NO inside Zip pocket
and no outside pockets. I was surprised the inside didn't have the
standard Dooney pocket setup. 😮
I miss that inside zip pocket... that's where I always keep my car key and
credit card case.

Is there a thread dedicated to this new upcoming bag, the Madrid? (If so, please delete this one) I cannot wait to see and feel it in person. It looks heavenly soft!

Did anyone get the Alto Small Woven Bucket bag? The price is great,
but the measurements indicate it's a very small handbag.
ILD measurements are not always accurate, especially when it comes to
Alto handbags. But generally, the measurements describe a more generous
size than the reality.

So.... did anyone actually get this bag? What do your think?

I recently saw this beauty in store and added the 2 pins. I had it laid out where both pins were off centered in a whimsical way (kinda like the pic with 2 bows, which is NOT my bag but just for reference).
When I picked it up, they had centered the pins.
What do you think? Should I have my heart & bow bag redone or leave it how they designed it?

Hi! For plastic surgery, it seems like people typically go to either Turkey or Korea. Which one would you choose and why?

I can't chose between the open walks in sandstone and caviar and bith of them look easy to style. Sandstone seems easy to style for all seasons but I can wear caviar to school and it won't get dirty easily.
Also I really love the style of them so can you guys share your oufits with them!!

I've been eyeing a tennis necklace from Graff and I like the fact that the stones are set closely together, and it has a knot where the necklace branches off into two strands.
However, the price is hard to swallow.
Has anyone seen anything in a similar style? ( I've looked online, checked the various brands and come up empty handed).
Unfortunately I really don't feel comfortable with the local jeweler ( his off putting manner, overcharged massively for a simple repair rather than discussing the price before the work was done like we agreed upon and frankly not impeccable work) , so that's not an option for me.

Hi everyone! I recently became the new owner of a satin Chanel evening bag. I know based off the authenticity card that this bag was made between 1986 and 1987. It has very pretty chains that appear to be yellow gold color. Although I have NO info on this bag, it is my understanding that older Chanel would have been plated with 24k yellow gold (if the hardware was yellow). Is that only for the Chanel CC logo, or ALL hardware? Thanks!

I’m based in London and have been on the waiting list for a B25/30 for about 18 months with no luck with a NQB on a walk-in!

I don’t have a particular SA I visit but have purchased various shoes, belts and twillies over the last 5 years.

I recently considered seeking a pre-loved bag (probably due to impatience) and have stumbled across this vintage Constance 18 in Box, noir and GHW from 2000. I love this combo and it’s considered “very good” condition and about €5500!

I wanted the forum’s advice on whether it’s really worth buying something vintage like this or just waiting out for a B25 that I really want - which is an easier process in London with the waiting list compared to other countries. It also could be right around the corner, you just never know.. 🫣

My worry is that even if I get offered a B25 it may not be the colour or hardware I’d like? And a Constance is an iconic bag in itself and would be really practical. This seems to be a great price and this combo is gorgeous!

Slightly concerned it’ll be poorer condition than I expect as I’ve never bought anything on the resale market.

Any advice would be amazing - I know this is very subjective so any thoughts would be wonderful thank you ☺️

Hi everyone, apologies, not many photos available. But perhaps you can already tell if this is fake or authentic?

I recently purchased my dream bag for a great price (LV SC) and upon opening it, saw that the canvas had small cracks right by the handles (3 of the 4 areas where the handles attach are affected). I know that this bag won’t be able to be repaired because of this. I was planning on using this bag regularly. Realistically, I would probably carry by the shoulder strap anyway, but would probably use the handles as well. My question is would you return this bag given its wear and potential for worsening at the stress points or keep it? It is otherwise in great shape for its age and I would likely pay 2-3x more for an alternative pre-owned. Thank you for your help!
