Pls help me decide between JUC choker or VCA 10 motif guilloche necklace or Bulgari serpenti demi pave bracelet?

Hi Everyone!
I have the cartier juc bracelet and the 5 motif guilloche bracelet and wear them regularly and would like to get a necklace of one of them.

I love the JUC choker but the idea that it is hollow and has a wire system kind of bothers me. Does anyone have it? How durable is it? The classic solid one is too heavy to wear daily.

I also love the VCA 10 motif guilloche and was planning to extend it and attach to it my 5 motif bracelet to make it 15. I love it the same as the JUC, hence the dilemma.

Or should I just get the Bulgari serpenti viper demi pave. It also has a wire mechanism which I question how will it stand the test of time?

Which would you choose to purchase first:
- Cartier JUC choker (small no diamonds)
- VCA guilloche 10 motif necklace
- Bulgari serpenti viper yellow gold with diamonds on the head and tail.
Thanks.

Based on what you’ve shared, you already own two bracelets and are thinking about adding a necklace. The JUC choker is definitely eye-catching, but the 10-motif necklace could be more versatile—especially since you already have the 5-motif bracelet, which you could link together. This is just how I think through it, but in the end, you should go for the piece that excites you the most!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You are so right about the versatility of the VCA necklace. When I tried both necklaces, I loved them both, thats why had to take a break and think it over.
The drawback with the VCA guilloche is that I would have to order it and wait for 4-6 months (as I had tried the one that was on hold for someone) while the JUC is instant.

I think that it's worth the wait if that is your preferred option!

It doesn’t sound like you really want the bracelet out of the three options listed, but just for the record I have the same one (yellow gold, demi pave with diamonds on tne head and tail) and I absolutely love it. It looks wonderful either worn on its own or as part of a bracelet stack. So far the wire mechanism is fine but with the disclaimer that I have only had the bracelet for a few months and am very careful with how I wear it.

My worry with the guilloche would be the weight. The bracelet is heavy (imo) and so I imagine the 10 motif might feel really quite heavy, especially worn around the neck as opposed to on the wrist. However, it’s a very versatile piece in that it goes with most things and I can certainly see the appeal of attaching it to your bracelet to make a longer necklace!

The JUC choker is gorgeous and is my personal favourite out of the two necklace options, however it is much less versatile than the guilloche. My personal opinion is also that as it has a youthful and edgy vibe it looks better on younger people (saying this as someone who is nearly 45, so well into middle age), whereas the guilloche looks good at any age. Please note again that this is just my personal opinion and I don’t want to offend anybody, we should all wear what gives us joy irrespective of what anyone else thinks.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Very helpful.

I love the bracelet but whats holding me back is that I am afraid that the gap between the head and the tail will get bigger once the bracelet is stretched. Do you think it would?

Your point on the weight of the guilloche necklace is an eye opener. I haven’t considered the weight and yes the bracelet is quite heavy. When I tried on the 10 motifs it was just for a few minutes so its hard to determine how will it feel after sometime. Perhaps I should get another 5 motif bracelet and hook it with my current 5 motif for a necklace? That way I would have the option to wear it as another bracelet incase the weight as a necklace was unbearable?

The JUC is so elegant and edgy but am afraid that it might dent as it is hollow inside. I have no clue how durable it is and I dont know anyone who has it. Plus, I feel that any more price increases on this piece will not be worth it.

Thank you so much for your thoughts😊

So I wanted the JUC choker for a while, finally ordered it and ultimately returned it. I found it to stick out weirdly around the sides of my neck and I did not love the way it rested on me. I might have needed the 29 instead of 31.

The other reason I returned it was because two people told me that it was concerning if in an accident, the edge of the nail point could somehow pierce my neck and hit a vein or artery. This I'm sure is so highly unlikely and probably silly but it made me concerned about the safety wearing it and sometimes once someone says something, it's difficult to ease the mind.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the interesting point about the JUC’s safety.

When you purchased it, did you feel that it is flimsy/durable? Did you think it is prone to denting?

Thanks.

It was actually a bit flimsy I felt. I never considered that it could dent. Has that been an issue with these? Have you considered the Love collar necklace? That was one I plan to try on to see if I like it better than the JUC but the JUC necklace is really nice looking.
