To somewhat fix a crumpled top panel, however you will need to cut the lining and then sew it back up.

It's not completely perfect, but it looks a lot better and you should not have to reapply. It's good for if you have a bag you're not using because of this issue, and not planning on selling.

Hi all, I posted this in the clubhouse thread but thought I might get more eyeballs if I posted it separately as well.

I have a question about the mini lambskin lady Dior - I found one in my dream colour at a reputable preloved website in absolute exquisite condition (the plastic is still on the hardware!) it’s an older piece though, because the strap doesn’t have the chain detail like the mini now does.

Does anyone know when Dior started producing the mini with the chain strap? And do all minis now come with chain strap or do they do the leather one occasionally still as well?

I don't mind it being a purely leather strap because it was appropriately priced imo and I would rarely wear it with the strap anyway, but I am curious to know how old it is.

Also - if I take good care of it, and assuming it was properly stored till now, does it matter if it's an old piece? In terms of leather condition etc? How long can I realistically expect the leather to remain in good condition, assuming I take care of it?

Has anyone added a strap for the Paris Bombay bag .On Google it says you can but have not found any pics indicating such .If anyone has managed to kindly can you post a pic .I managed to get one in 35 size in excellent condition in cuivre .Thanks

My SA left VCA last October, shortly after I received my HP from her ♥️. I was under the impression she may return after taking some time off, but after speaking to VCA today, it appears that is not the case 😔.

She was aware of my interest for both RC and Pietersite. I was hoping this summer I would be offered one of the two by her, but now that she is gone, I’m unsure of how to go about this request?

I do not have a VCA in my state. My relation with her began with the e-Boutique…she eventually went to a physical boutique, so I continued to purchase with her from there, over the phone.

I will be traveling at the end of this month and plan on visiting a VCA boutique. Would it be inappropriate to inquire about RC and/or Pietersite with someone who is not my SA?

My birthday is in August - this year I’m feeling a bit down without my SA. For the past few years, she always made my birthdays feel extra special, while making my VCA dreams come true.

I’m shocked because on the website and the online reps told me the bag isn’t going to be released for sale until July 11, when I placed my order the online rep said the earliest it would arrive was July 23, but….here she is! She’s gorgeous, it’s the Speedy soft and it’s sooooooooo smushy. She comes with 2 bag charms, one of them are crystals ( Or as the rep said Chakra stones ) the bag is called the “Lucky” bag the rep said that’s the reason for the stones. The other bag charm is a braided/twisted rope. A friend donated me her brand new luggage tag ( in the pictures below the tag is on the bag but it does not come with the luggage tag ) it does also come with the lock and 2 keys. Her item number will be M15108 when they list it on the LV site.

I've been really drawn to the idea of ultra-soft textures lately, and recently stumbled upon a few cashmere or cashmere-blend bags (not Bottega specifically, but luxury brands in general). It got me thinking, how would something like that actually hold up in real life?


We all know Bottega is masterful when it comes to materials and craftsmanship, so it made me wonder: could a soft material like cashmere ever work in one of their silhouettes? Or is it just too impractical for a handbag?


If anyone here has seen a designer cashmere bag in person or owns something with a similar texture (maybe even from past BV collections? I’d love to hear what you thought. Does it feel luxurious or just fragile? Would you trust it for regular wear, or is it strictly for special occasions?

Curious where everyone lands on this trend or timeless idea?

I have the opportunity to purchase a pietersite 5 motif (resale) but am concerned about showering with it. I would never shower with MOP- our town has hard water, and while we do have a house filter, it’s imperfect - but Pietersite is so much harder. I am unlikely to take a bracelet on and off every day, so I will pass and get a diamond 5 motif if it cannot be worn in the shower, but would love to hear from anyone who wears their Pietersite daily. I am looking for a leather skirt myself. I had a leather mini like 10 years ago I wore sometimes not sure where it is now. I don't find myself in mini's much anymore. I saw this one and it got me thinking. I love the look of it!! I need to find a leather skirt lol

I stopped by the boutiques and the SAs there told me Dior is releasing a new size for the D joy, most likely will be deemed mini as an in between of the micro and small D joy. It’s set to be released in a month or two? Or perhaps in the winter? Does anyone else have any more information about this? They weren’t able to tell me more. I was planning on picking it up on my next trip in Europe

Now that I've carried the new Le City First for at least a week, I figured I would give you some observations between the old (2005) and the new (2025) iterations. Spoiler alert: there isn't much of a difference!

Sizing is identical. The 2025 felt a bit roomier, but my mind was just playing tricks on me. When I transferred the contents of the reissue to the OG, everything fit exactly the same. The reissue might be a hair wider at the base. It could be that lambskin feels lighter than goat?

Leather quality: 2005 is the winner. You just can't beat classic Bal Chevre. The new Arena Storico lambskin isn't bad, but it is definitely a bit drier to the touch. It did grow on me with every day I carried it, though. Obviously, I haven't had the bag long enough to test its longevity, but this type of leather definitely took color well. I don't expect much fading. So far, no color transfer.

I was pleasantly surprised to see they brought back the original lacing vs the new flatter styles we've seen on the Le City. Feels nostalgic. Shoulder strap length is the same.

The biggest differences lie in hardware color (darker on new iteration), rivets & interior tags. The edge coating on the reissue also seems more robust than the originals, so we'll see how that holds up over time.

All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase, but the new prices are crazy. It does feel like a true re-release vs an inspiration. Go with whatever color/leather combo makes you happy!

What can I say? It has been a super busy first half year. I think our first half of the year should just be called murakami semester 1! I’m sure everyone has been super busy chasing and buying their gorgeous pieces, maybe semester 2 might be time to relax and enjoy them???…….. nah….. Has anyone heard anything about a special Dooney & Bourke 50th Anniversary collection? I can't believe it's July and still nothing has been posted on the site. I was expecting a full, special collection.

So I'm back to neutrals - grays are beautiful I love how swift absorbs and shows off the color. But I wonder if it won't be too annoying to baby in a non perfect weather. I also thought about madam leather - I don't own anything in madam yet but I like the description. (is it very different then epsom)
I fell out of love with Togo. Epsom is the obvious choice then, it's ok but I'm just tempted to try another one.

I have the speedy 20 strap in the black and pink with vachetta leather but I don’t love it with the speedy. I wear the pochette Metis canvas strap with it instead. I do really like it with my vintage pochette accessories. It actually made me fall in love with that bag again. I usually wear the pochette and LV guitar strap for running to gym, park with kids etc. I also have the neutral beige one with dark brown leather to match my Alma bb and speedy b 25 both in damier ebene. I prefer the more neutral one and my vintage pochette has a deep patina so they don’t clash. I actually found myself reaching for that pair on rainy hot days.

My husband roasted me for these straps and said I’m wearing a bumper sticker on my bags 🤣 I’m not willing to part with my neutral one bc I do use it but should I sell the more loud black and pink?
