Can anyone out there explain the difference between the older Kate 100 and the newer Sporty Kate 100 versions?

I just received my Louis Vuitton Empreinte Sac Sport. I wanted an everyday bag that is comfortable, practical and easy to get your things in and out of. I wanted a leather shoulder bag that has a slouchy hobo. But not typical huge hobo. At $3K w/ California tax this is one of the more reasonably priced Leather bag at LV these days.

I've searched high and low for the perfect shoulder bag and I found it. I will have this in my collection forever.

Bonus I Love the LV Box that this came in too - it was a pleasant surprise to the typical LV orange box. It's just gorge.

For my height of 5'0 it's perfect. You can adjust the strap if you are taller.

So i missed out the valentine 2024 Pink Alma / blue nano Speedy.

How likely is a (valentine) pink/blue Speedy /bag release in 2025?

I just bought a Coach Swing Zip in black from the Coach boutique. Love the outer glove tanned leather but I’m not so sure about the interior… I had asked the SA if it was PU and she said no and that it’s leather. It didn’t occur to me to ask what leather exactly at that point.
The coach website just states that it’s made of “leather” as well.

Does anyone know exactly why leather it is (hoping not “vegan leather”) and how has it held up so far for those who own the bag?

I got caught up in the sales and the lure of some of the small batch 'odds and ends' leathers
that Dooney was selling on both the main site and ILD. I had visions of really high end leather.
My fantasy was not fulfilled. Based on my experience, and comments of others here and on
YT videos I'm going to conclude that each piece of leather could be different, some may be
great and others, not so much. And the styles and construction will also vary.
And, it is possible, that the items sold on the main Dooney site are superior to the ones on ILD.

I had previously bought a Sorrento drawstring. I loved the leather, it was soft but had enough
body so the drawstring handbag looked and felt great. I returned the bag because I didn't
like the construction details. So when I saw a double zip satchel in Sorrento on ILD for a great
price, I decided to give it another try. The bag is well made and the style is great. The leather
however feels like Saffiano leather or coated canvas to me. It's just not my vibe. It's very different
from the Sorrento leather drawstring. Both were ILD purchases within a few weeks of each other.

I also ordered the Penrose 2 satchel from ILD in the Royal Blue. It's a bright navy and looks
really nice. The accent stitching is white and there is dark whip stitching on the handles. But, I'm not
impressed with the leather. The bag I got has a very fine grain leather that isn't soft to the touch.
The satchel style looks fine, the back of the tassels are a lighter blue and look fantastic. The zipper
top folds over into a smile that I hope will deepen with time. And the leather may soften if I use the bag enough.

I haven't decided if I'm keeping this Penrose 2 bag. I think it will be a workhorse bag.... good size and
really scratch and weather resistant leather. But the tactile feel of leather is important to me
and this bag doesn't satisfy that criteria. But then neither do lots of other bags, like the embossed
exotic leather from Dooney and Brahmin. I love those bags for the look. I like this Penrose
in royal blue for the look. No wonder I have so many handbags. 🙄🙄🙄

I wanted to share with the community about this scammer that I interacted with on Instagram. Her handle is @la.moda.plateforme. She supposedly helps people source for luxury products (namely Chanel). Her name is Helene.




Brief sequence of events





- Purchased items and transferred funds to her bank account in Ukraine (maybe that was a bit of a mistake ;( )


- After receiving funds, responses became much slower


- No shipment update was given


- After 3 weeks, she mentioned that her assistant had mistakenly sent my items to a wrong address


- She mentioned that once she receives the item back, she would mail it to me


- That was on 29th August. Since then, there has been no reply at all despite multiple chasers.



So, what I did was that I used another number and contacted her.. and Viola! Instant reply! I suppose she is looking for her next victim!


Anyway my monies are probably gone! So this is really to warn anyone that I can to NOT DEAL WITH THIS SELLER! If anyone else has been tricked by her, please comment here

However the closeup of the interior shows burgundy? I find this strange.

Can someone confirm if so black interiors are ALWAYS black or they vary?

If you have the 2024 so black mini trendy can you confirm interior color?

I tried a search but this bag hasn’t really been discussed lately. I’m due soon and would like a large bag in place of a traditional diaper bag as I’ve had diaper bags in the past and never end up using them very long. Does anyone have experience with this bag as a mom tote? Would you recommend? I’ve used a Neverfull before but don’t like the lack of zipper. The mezzo solves that.

My hesitation is I haven’t seen this bag talked about much on here since 2011! Is a large zippered tote like the mezzo outdated?

I’m going back and forth between these two bags from a reseller… b25 in VC and bleu paon k25.. I tried on paon yesterday and it’s gorgeous IRL! Cypress is also a really pretty color as well…walked away with VC but can’t stop thinking about paon. The only reason I’m hesitating with paon is because the shade has never been on my radar, I gravitate towards pastels or deeper colors.

Cypress photographs very dark, in person it’s a beautiful rich green!

My fiancé purchased two Setting platinum engagements rings from Tiffany, as he wanted one everyday ring, that was not too big, and I was able to travel with this one (also it was the one he proposed to me with, as it was easier to not declare it to customs as we got engaged abroad and he didn't want me to notice something was up) and then there is the second one which is bigger.
My finger is size 6.

I love them both and alternate whatever I feel like, the smaller one being more practical in my very hands on every day life as a doctor, dog-owner, training for marathon etc.

We have bought wedding bands also with our lovely SA at Tiffany.
He chose the Milgrain, and I got the 2mm legacy bead set eternity band in size 6. I loved that we both had milgrain details and it sparkled that much, I just fell for it.
Nevertheless it is eternity and I am scared that it might get too small some time down the road.
He tells me not to worry, we'll then buy a bigger one.

Now we are having our second wedding and I thought I might buy a second wedding ring for the second wedding.

I love the legacy full eternity on its own a lot!
I feel it shines more when it's worn alone.

So I am thinking about adding the Forever 2,2mm in platinum (full or half) or either a channel set full eternity (which i would then buy in size 7 and add sizing beads) or channel set half with baguette diamonds.
All those I would love to buy pre-owned via ebay.

Unfortunately they don't sell the baguette style anymore so I can't go to the store and see what it looks like worn with my e-ring.

Is there a problem getting the ring size changed when I am not the original purchaser? I feel bad for my SA, but the styles I want (except for the forever) are not available in store in my size and I usually wear second-hand all the time. Even my wedding dress is second-hand.

Maybe some of you can give me advice on what looks nice, maybe you have pictures, I cant really find much on the channel set full eternity with the Setting.

I finally go the call yesterday.
I had my wishlist appointment in July and asked for a Kelly 25 Sellier GHW either in Box in noir or in Chevre in Noir or any Blue (except navy).
Yesterday they called and offered me a Kelly 25 Chevre in Bleu Royal with Palladium Hardware. What do you think of that bag and the colour combination? I love the leather and the colour (as far as I have seen it) too, I am just not sure about the Palladium Hardware. My appointment will be on Saturday.

Does anyone know that bag, is it easy to wear?
Do you mix metals with your jewellery and handbag hardware?
Is it rare to get offered a chevre? I remember when asking for box or chevre my SA said something like "oh you really want to go for heritage leather, this will take time".
Since it is my first quota bag, I want to be sure to make the right decision

Does the boutique invoice shows whether its choker or necklace on the receipt? I bought a choker online, the seller gave me a London receipt showing the reference item name belongs to necklace on the receipt, just wanna make sure if it shows the exact item name 'CHOKER' or the category 'NECKLACE' on the reference column.
