I’ve been eyeing off a VCA Alhambra guilloché white gold for a while now (was planning to get it in Europe / wedding anniversary) … and last night I stumbled upon the “new” Chopard Ice Cube necklace white gold with diamonds. The price (in Aus) is only different by $30, so that doesn’t factor in. I’m totally torn now!!!

I have made my first Rolex purchase recently. I love estate pieces so I decided to get a solid yellow gold (80s-90) Datejust. I posted this on reddit and all the men said this is gaudy and ugly. What do you all think?

I personally like it, yellow gold looks good on me and my birthstone is emerald. Because this is an estate piece I don’t have the option of adding a diamond bezel.

Question for you: Am I the only one who has issues wearing a 20 motif long? Long story short, I desperately want to wear the 20's, I love the look of long necklaces, but I find that I am, what's the polite word...buxom, the necklace ends up between my girls...not classy or pretty.

Does anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?
Currently I just double the 20 I do have, but I was wondering if maybe I am just 20 Motif challenged.

I have always wanted a Dior handbag, as I feel a personal connection to the brand (specifically, the archival pieces since my birthday is the same day as the New Look debut). I have a Bar suit with the slim skirt, but while in Paris, found this little bag I was instantly drawn to. No clasps, no glaring hardware or logo, it felt like a practical and subtle application of the cannage motif. I felt like I could see myself wearing it daily in place of a small black crossbody. I like that it’s a little more fancy, since my style tends to be more casual, edgy, or eclectic.

But I own several bags that serve similar, if not the same, function! And I couldn’t help but notice upon returning to the States how “basic” I felt when I wore it. Like a college sorority girl or something (no offense). It also reminds me of the LV toiletry bag and how some people add a chain to it to wear as a purse. Am I too in my head about this? Does it scream “her first Dior”?

I might consider ordering a MTO handbag. Still trying to decide between Peter Nitz (Zurich) vs Mila Jito (US). I have officially inquired with both but not into detail. Anyone have any experience with both? I also notice Peter Nitz pricing is generally higher maybe because of the currency? How is the craftsmanship?

Just a couple of questions! I recently purchased a couple of pendants from my local boutique (so they are 100% authentic), but I notice a difference in the appearance of the serial numbers. One has a certain design and the other is simply the serial number… is this normal? They are different metals and from different batches I suppose but wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

Also, I compared my VA rg pendant with my rg two butterfly pendant and the rose gold on the butterfly pendant looks just a tad pinker/darker… does anyone have any experience with this either? Is it a design choice since the butterfly has pink in it, or is it more likely a piece-to-piece thing?

While exploring vintage Mulberry bags, I came across a story that around 2010, or possibly earlier in the 2000s, there was a mulberry VIP club for loyal customers. This club supposedly had access to special models of bags that were not available to other customers, making these bags particularly unique and sought after in the second-hand market.

However, I am skeptical about the authenticity of this story and suspect it might be a fabrication by the seller to justify a higher price. Can anyone verify this information?

They weren't meant to share this info so I couldn't photograph it unfortunately but from memory here are a few of the styles that I recall will be included. It will potentially be 15 in total? Which I guess makes sense.

She no longer has the van cleef box it came with, if I take it to VCA to be resized would they give me a new box to store my own in? Or does that only come with new purchases? Thanks!

I just saw on Instagram that possibly some chanel bags will receive new turnlock? Please see attached foto. There is CHANEL mini rectangular top handle in so black and it has new hardware turnlock! I am very curious which bags will receive this update. Or maybe only so black versions due to scratching on the turnlock is more visible on black? Any thoughts or information? Thanks a lot ❤️
