Kelly gold Togo a good choice?

Hello, I’ve search to try and find photos and as much information on Kelly’s in gold Togo retourn but seems that gold isn’t as common as say black. I currently have a B25 black Togo PHW and have reserved a Kelly 25 in gold Togo leather with PHW (I don’t like GHW). I wear a lot of black, I’m very casual and don’t wear anything bright in color. I’m always in neutral and personal like muted colors. I wear mostly blacks, white, grays and beige colors.
For those who have gold do you love the color? Is it a timeless classic color? I would love your feedback and photos of your Kelly’s in gold.

Here’s a picture of the bag I have reserved.

Mini Frivole RG vs YG

Hi! Anyone who owns or seen these pieces in person, is the difference in rose gold and yellow gold mini frivole pieces subtle?

I plan to get a pair of mini frivole earrings and love RG but I prefer it with diamond center. They only have RG with rubies so I’m leaning towards getting YG even though majority of my jewelry is RG. Does anyone know if the RG mini frivole pieces will eventually be made with diamond option in the center instead of ruby? It would be upsetting if I purchased in YG only for them to come out with RG and diamond in the near future.

New BumRush Bag is too big for my waist. Any suggestions?

I just received my new BumRush Bag today. I know it is from the men's line but the straps are so long, and I cannot wear it on my waist on the tightest option. The bag falls to the floor. I do not want to wear it as a cross body as I have the High Rise for that. Any suggestions? Does LV offer strap shortening and adding holes? I am so sad! Thank you

Where to safely sell Cartier pieces in the UK ?

I am looking to sell a few cartier pieces i own i won't state which as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to in this thread but I was wondering if there is somewhere everyone recommends and trusts in the UK to do this ?
I am looking to sell to purchase another Cartier piece ( JUC bracelet ) so also happy to trade my pieces in towards a piece of there are any trusted jewellers to do this
This is my first time selling my Cartier pieces and worried about getting ripped off by buyers ( claiming they didn't receive them or received a fake ) so I'm hesitant to use Ebay. I can also see ebays authentic guarantee is awful i can see fake cartiers on there with authenticity guarantee right now .
TIA to anyone who replies with any advice at all

Purchasing a strap as a spare part

Hi everyone,

Because of shoulder issues, I would like a wider strap to replace the strap of my croisette, which is quite small an digs into my shoulder. Because LV doesn’t sell wider straps separately, I asked the SA if she could order the strap of the Speedy 25. I already own three Speedy’s, but not a bandoulière Speedy. The SA told me they they’re not able to do this anymore.

I used to go to another store, and there the SA even ordered a strap from a totally different purse than the one I onwed. Unfortunatelly she’s working abroad now, so I have another SA. I think she’s the manager, but I don’t really have a good feeling with her. She’s always in a rush.

Therefore I’d like to ask: is it true that they have a strikt policy now and cannot order straps from purses you don’t own?

Earrings: Hardwear or Lock?

The ultimate first-world problem! I'm torn between the small Lock and medium Hardwear earrings (both in yellow gold). I've tried both on and definitely lean toward the more subtle Lock. However, I feel like Hardwear is more classic Tiffany at this point and would be a nice change from anything I have in my current collection. I already have a nice collection of gold hoops and hoop alternatives and am afraid the Lock might be too similar to things I already have. Has anyone had a similar dilemma or any words of advice? Thanks so much!

contemplating between the VCA 20 motifs hammered yellow gold and the 10 motifs guilloche yellow gold

Hi everyone, I am contemplating between a Cartier mini Baignoire watch or VCA 20 motifs hammered yellow gold necklace to get later and wanted your help to decide which one to pick?

Is the Baignoire watch too small and requires reading glasses? Is it trendy or classic? Can it be safely worn with love and JUC bracelets? I am not a watch person as I rely mainly on my apple watch and this will be my first all gold watch which I plan to use for a long time.

The reason why I am considering 20 motifs hammered gold is the versatility. I can wear it double, or just long or lariat style and it looks good in all seasons and outfits. I have the matching 5 motif bracelet and love it.

Which one should I get? Thanks

Can’t decide on hardware!

Hi everyone in this beautiful community! Hoping for some guidance from the pros.

I want to purchase the Chanel cardholder (no flap), and the hardware colours i’ve seen in person are either silver or yellow gold. I think I like the silver hardware more as it pops more than yellow gold on the black caviar leather. I also noticed the silver looks shinier, but I’m not sure if that’s just limited to the couple of pieces I’ve seen in person?

What are your thoughts on SHW? Is it seen as “not as luxurious / not the OG” like the GHW? Does one hold up better than the other? Since the cardholder is small & will live in my purse, I’m not taking into consideration what metals I wear, but moreso trying to figure out if one metal “screams” something another doesn’t. Thank you ♥️

Hoping to get your opinion on this Tiffany Diamond

Hello All, my Fiance purchased an engagement ring from Tiffany a few months ago and recently proposed.

He received the certificate of the diamond after the purchase and the details are as follows:

Carat: 1.07
Table size: 56%
Total depth: 61.9%
Crown height: 14.7%
Crown angle: 33.8
Star length: 55%
Pavilion depth: 43.7%
Pavilion angle: 41.2%
Lower half length: 80%
Girdle thickness: medium to slt thick
Culet: none
Measurement: 6.57-6.62 x 4.08mm

We would like to know your opinions on this diamond. Is it cut ideally? Is it considered a good diamond from Tiffany’s? He did not see the details prior to the purchase and I only started researching about the ideal depth, crown angle, and pavilion depth after the proposal. We realized that the diamond we got has depth, crown angle, and pavilion depth slightly not within the preferred range.

Thank you so much!

Pave love opens by itself after repair :(

Hi friends! Have a question for fellow Pave Love owners: Is it normal for the bracelet to open by itself when pressure is applied to the screw button?

Here's my situation: my Pave Love bracelet has opened on its own before, and I've already sent it in for repair twice. After each repair, it felt secure for a while, but recently I’ve noticed it’s starting to open by itself again. Specifically, if I press on the screw button, the bracelet sometimes opens partially or even fully unlatches the clasp. This happens more especially when I was holding my son and some pressure was put on my right forearm/wrist.

I assumed that simply pressing the button wouldn’t unlock it—that the clasp needs to be opened first, and then the button is pressed to fully release it. Since I've only experienced this with one Pave bracelet, I'm not sure if this behavior is normal or if there's an issue with mine.

Can't attach a video here so here are some screenshots to illustrate the problem. Would greatly appreciate any insights or advice here!

Scarves How to improve Hermes cashmere silk scarf appearance?

I purchased a Hermes cashmere silk 140 second hand and when it arrived it had been already washed, at least by hand. It's still very soft but it appears like there's some pilling and it's just not in the best shape.
What is the recommended course of action here? Should I try to hand wash it myself? Should I have it dry cleaned?
I'm interested in both cleaning the scarf and in improving the appearance of the worn look.
Thank you!

What do you do with your bags in case of emergency evacuation?

I never thought I would need to ask this, but I now live in an area where an emergency evacuation might be necessary.
I have no idea what to do about my bags. Of course they're just 'things' and getting the kids out safely is my top priority, but I feel sad thinking about leaving my bags behind. Unfortunately I don't have a way to take them along.

Are the Lady Dior alligator leather bags enough durable especially when it comes to the special finishings or embellishments?

hello guys , have anyone purchased any exotic leather bags like alligator leather bags from Dior and is it more durable also with different finishings ? Also what about resale value and keeping the value of bag and would it increase in value over time ?
I saw the video above and discover the two exotic leather bags. To buy a good exotic leather bag would the d- joy be a better choice on the long run or the classic lady Dior or both are just as good .
Anyone with alligator leather experience please let me know . Also in terms of finishing , would those make the bag more fragile or elevate the bags value ? They have with different finishings and embellishments as well. I wonder if those would keep well over time. Thanks so much for your advise in advance …
First of all, I'm not sure this is the correct thread for this post and you may get a better response if you posted a new thread. I am a firm believer of purchasing what you love and will use. I don't worry much about resale value and Dior is known for not retaining value the way Chanel or Hermes does. Not sure if that's different with exotics but i imagine they may hold bake a bit better.

Lady Dior will always be considered a more "desireable" bag than a D-Joy to the masses. I own both but I don't own an exotics (though i saw a LD that was pink with a gold sheen to it that was to die for - can't recall if it was croc or alligator). So I can't speak to the durability, but I did come across this older thread in the H subforum but you may find the info helpful:
