I couldn’t find on whether there is already a thread on this or not, but how do you find VCA resale value ?
I plan to enjoy them and have no plans to sell in the near or distant future, however one of my friends tried selling a pair of two motif diamond and grey MOP Al Hambra earrings which were practically new, and she was just getting 60% of what she paid on consignment.
What is your experience? This makes you think cost per wear a lot otherwise it may be money down the drain and become bitter when your hardly worn piece gets sold at a massive loss ?

Hello everyone! I have been on a waiting list for a 36MM DJ TT jubilee, fluted with MOP and diamond dial. Recently, I met a lady who works with an AD, and she kindly suggested me to look at the same watch but with silver and diamond dial. Today, I got the news that her request for the watch was approved and she will let me know once it arrives, to go see it. The one with silver and diamond dial. For a long time I have been set on just to wait however long it takes to get the DJ TT MOP as I love MOP in jewelry as well, but in looking at other styles that I normally would not like, I have seen that I love them as well. Would love to hear different opinions, and thanks to everyone in advance!

Help needed. I think my dry cleaner shrunk my shirt but I’m not certain. I just bought it a week ago on vacation but it was all wrinkled due to my packing. I compared to all of my Burberry shirts and it’s by far the shortest one. I don’t recall it being that short. I can go to the millenia mall and compare it but don’t feel like driving an hour. I don’t want to accuse the dry cleaner if it was actually that short. Should I tell the dry cleaner that I believe they shrunk my shirt? I have to similar Burberry shirts underneath they are the same size except for the red one.

I want a capacious puzzle bag, but because I am not a neat person, the usual cream lining will not work for me. Has anyone ever seen one with a dark coloured lining? I'm happy for an older model if I find one preloved

My understanding is that k is 2025 but rose shocking is an older color??

I recently picked up my Alhambra guilloche bracelet, in YG, this week, yay! I ordered it without ever having seen it, and it’s just as beautiful as I had hoped. When I put i tried it on and put it next to my other Alhambra (yg onyx) it looks like a different color gold. The lady at VCA says the gold changes color over time. The thing is my Alhambra is 4 months old, and I’ve taken very good care of it. It is almost like my guilloche is a rosy gold, and my onyx is more yellow. It’s weird. Has anyone had this happen? The guilloche is so light is some light conditions, and clean looking it almost looks like white gold sometimes. I’m not complaining but I was expecting the golds to matching my onyx is still pretty new and has been carefully stored away. I also don’t shower or do anything in my onyx.

I came across a Cartier Juste Un Clou double bracelet with diamond at the Fashionphile store. This model has diamonds on the nail head, which I haven't seen before.

After checking the Cartier website, I noticed they have a similar model but without the diamonds on the nail head.

The salesperson assured me it's authentic, but I'm curious if Cartier ever released such a design. Could you shed some light on this?

I’m hoping someone can help me! I have a Large Black Double Zipped Bayswater (original style, dated around 2013) and I’m missing the long crossbody strap. After months of searching and stumbling across many straps with the brass coloured hardware (mainly from Alexa’s), I found a used strap which I was told was the bright shiny gold colour. Unfortunately, it’s not the right colour - it’s a yellowy gold but without the mirror-like shine. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for the “other” reflective gold, however, today I stumbled across a much lighter gold, which appears almost silver. My question is, does anyone know when the gold hardware changed? Is my age bag consistent with a lighter gold? It’s likely that I’m never going to be able to compare colours in person (due to me sourcing a strap online), but every photo seems to show the hardware looking different. I always thought mine was the bright, orangey-gold, but now I’m thinking that’s just for the new style? I’ve considered buying one directly from Mulberry but they’re £210, which is a large proportion of the bag’s value because, unlike my other bags, this one is my workhorse and is no longer pristine. With that being said, the replacement strap I have is both heavily used and pretty ugly, so I want a closer match!! It’s proving to be very difficult to find a strap in the region of 120-130cm too, so I don’t have many options. I’ve included photos of my current strap and bag, plus some photos a lady sent me showing the 2 straps she has (one very light gold, one bright gold) - the lighter gold is the right length but the wrong colour and the darker one is too short for her. I’m wondering if the lighter one could work for me?! Thanks in advance!!

Hi everyone.

Just curious on why this happened on my authenticity card, it just annoys me that some of the gold border has chipped off as well as some of the numbers. My other authenticity cards aren’t like that (and they’re even from older models). The only difference they have is this has been stored in the box for years already, could that be the reason? Has anybody had this too with their cards? (Blocking some characters for security reasons).

Just a thought. I purchased a Chanel tote bag in June this year. It's a beautiful lambskin boy style tote - it was my first ever Chanel purchase (see image below). Only thing is I've NEVER carried it. It is still in it's beautiful dust bag in the box. It's not that I don't like it, I bought it because it's gorgeous. I'm just a person who does not change in and out of bags. I'm quite content with the bag I am using everyday (LV Lumineuse). Would it be a wise idea to sell it, or keep it since it's a limited edition style?

Btw, I'm not a collector by any means. I own two designer handbags and am grateful!

I was able to find (one of) my dream bags second hand - the hobo in the brown that is most similar to the current color fondant. It is in perfect condition and I love everything about it - except the size. I thought I wanted a larger bag but I am having a hard time determining if there are 2 sizes larger or just 1. The dimensions are 18x12. There is so much information out there, but none seems consistent. Does anyone to know if this may be the medium or the large? Thank you!

All already on the MC line which although firstly I was excited about I feel that there isn’t a lot to shout about since I already own MC and I feel that from what I’ve seen there isn’t too much excitement… I just feel that it could of been done a lot better , I’m not a fan of the noir SH… I don’t like what they are probably going to charge .. Has someone bought a piece in this colour? I was really glad, when the announcement for this colour came. But now I am not sure how dark the chocolate colour is. On some of the pictures I have seen, it looks nearly black.

I can’t seem to find previous post on refurbishing/conditioning of Cabat bags but wanted to ask if anyone with experience can chime in?

I have given my mini Cabat some TLC to freshen up the leather but wonder if you should also do the inside? It makes sense as it’s woven through and through but always hesitant to do anything to the inside of a bag.

So I saw this bag on Bergdorf the other month as a coming soon back and fell in love with it and finally saw it drop on Bottega’s site last week so immediately ordered. What does everyone think? I love the look on the shoulder, but not convinced crossbody. The leather is super lux, but almost so lux I’m worried about it damaging easily. Would love some opinions! Anyone else try this bag yet?
