I was wondering if you guys keep the boxes with your purchases? If so, how do you store them? Is it necessary to keep them? I have all the boxes that my jewelry came in and I am working on decluttering. I also have the paperwork on my jewelry and thinking of putting them in some sort of filing system. I do not have plans on selling any pieces but pass them down to my nieces. Just wondering what you guys do and contemplating throwing out the boxes.

Two of my newest purchases along with one of my most favorite styles who's been in the OMG Closet the longest... Just playing, no particular rhyme or reason.

I posted a couple days ago about the color for a compact bearn and decided I’m going to wait for a pop color. Now I’m second guessing the size. I’d love any input on the full size vs compact Bearn wallet. I have seen them both in person, but could use help brainstorming!

My most used bags are a Evelyne 29, Halzan 31, and Jypsiere 28. In my bags I usually carry a pouch with my keys, hand sanitizer, and a calvi, and my phone is separate. The wallet would be in addition to those things. I have used a LV zippy and Chanel zip wallet in the past and found them too big and moved on to smaller wallets, although the Bearn is smaller than those. Anyone with experience, please chime in!

Hi all! I am searching for a vintage Montsouris MM and came across one on Poshmark I have my eye on. Date code is SP 0064. Does anyone know when this version was last produced? Through my searching all I can find is “early 2000s” was last production, and this is the “newest” one I’ve come across. Not sure if it’s a red flag or not as the majority I’ve seen are all late 90s and 2000 or 2001.

Secondly - what are your thoughts on Posh’s authentication services? Legit?

Dear ladies, my caramel C19 is starting to develop ‘smiles lines’, you know wrinkles around our mouths as we start to reach that age . Any recommendations wrt how to minimise these? I have read wrt steaming so that’s my Plan B, as worried about the effect of heat and lateron water on the lambskin. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Does anyone else feel like chanel is basically doing a light pink color every season? I know it's a very popular color but I remember it being pretty rare and I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it. Obviously there's going to be slight variation in color from season to season but overall it's still light pink and I'm just wondering why they're doing that when they're known for not repeating colors.

I feel like this year, I bought a Piaget Rose bracelet, a Gucci belt to match my gucci marmont last year and a speedy 30. I'm missing a pair of luxe shoes this year (I made it a goal to purchase one jewelry, one bag and one shoes per year so as to not overspend!).

Now when it comes to shoes, I'm really liking Orans (I'm thinking either a gold or noir) just based on how it looks. It's timeless and just looks so comfy. But also, I'm thinking "go big or go home" and spend a bit more on my first luxe shoes/footwear and buy a Santorini which I thought is also super cute though a bit more expensive than Orans. Other options I have is Gucci matelasse sliders in black which will match my bag OR wild card - - Dior dway slides. Although, I don't have anything dior. I had a look at LV but none of their shoes seemed interesting for me.

Any tips in choosing my first pair? I always thought I wasn't ready to spend a thousand or so on shoes but... I'm finally ready now! ❤️

I came across my dream bag from a reputable consignment store- Hermes Kelly 28 in ultraviolet Clemence leather GHW.

However, noted in the descriptions that the logo had been restamped.

I would love to get your opinions on whether u will buy a restamped Hermes bag.
- not sure who restamped the logo, will Hermes Spa reject servicing the bag if the restamp wasn’t done by them?
- could be turn out to be a super fake since it’s hard to tell from the heat stamp and it looks blurry?

My first love above all Luxury items, was and still is, jewelry. For my sweet sixteen I did not want a birthday, I wanted an emerald ring. Over the past 30+ years, I have bought, hoarded, collected, gifted, and ultimately resold a lot of jewelry across all categories.

My biggest jewelry regrets (due to style or economics) on no particular order are:

1. Buying trendy or some designer jewelry that I saw someone wear (Bulgari, VCA, Cartier, Tiffany, graff).

2. Cartier love bracelets- because they are not comfortable, I don’t need 5 of them, but I cannot part with them.

3. Diamond tennis necklaces. I love them but I hate them, they tangle my hair, cannot sleep in them, have cracked several of the necklaces (still have them).

Do you think this defect (in the picture) can get worse by turning into rums through the fabric?

I’ve decided to use some of my savings for a bag, around $3500 usd. I want an everyday bag that looks good and is easy to carry and neutral enough

I recently saw my friend carry the LV pochette Métis, in turtle dove empreiente and I Am aim LOVE with that colour. Only thing I’m not sure about is the heaviness of the bag and whether it will be too big on my 5’1 frame.

Anyone got any advice?? The other option I can go with is a Chanel woc or maybe a mini in a neutral colour. Don’t own any Chanel yet so that would be exciting too.

Asking my trusted tpf’ers for an opinion on my wedding set. My husband bought me a beautiful oval eternity band for my 40th birthday last year. I have worn it pretty much exclusively since I got it this past September. I thought my engagement ring was too dainty for the band. We plan on upgrading my e-ring but not for another year or two. ID jewelry did a fabulous job on the band and it makes me smile every day.
Not sure what made me pull out my e ring today but wanted to get opinions to see if they work at all together. I know they are not perfect but my question is should I stack in the mean time or just continue to wear the band until I have a more proportionate e-ring stone.

I found one that doesn't have broken stones. Would you buy it? Is it classic or dated? Need opinions! Anyone have this??

I know Gucci sells replacement shapers for the various sizes of Diana tote in different colors, but if one, perhaps, used their Diana tote for the first time but didn't fasten one of the handle shapers tight enough and it fell off but they didn't notice until after they got home... can the ORIGINAL contrasting bamboo shapers be purchased anywhere? I haven't posted a thread in AGES, but I thought I reach out and ask for your opinions...

The other day, I impulsively decided to pre-order the new Keepall 25 Bandouliere in Monogram Eclipse, and I am having intense doubts as to whether or not I should keep it.

A little bit of backstory, my current LV collection is very curated in the sense all my canvas bags are in Monogram, and that I have one leather piece from each of the 'main' leather lines (Taiga, Epi and Nomade). In terms of pieces that I want (not need) that are remaining on my wishlist include a nano Speedy (OG model), a Petite Malle and a Petite Boîte Chapeau - all either in Monogram or Reverse Monogram. I previously sold a Damier Graphite piece (I think it was the Alpha trio pouch) because I wasn't using it, and I am afraid if I purchase the Keepall 25 in Monogram Eclipse (same colour way as Damier Graphite) it would be history repeating itself.

I think I already know not only deep down, but on the surface level is when I receive the bag in store, I will not be taking it home with me, but there is this inkling of doubt that is telling me to accept it. I think another one of my hesitations is the price of the bag. I don't really get shocked at prices of bags anymore, but when my CA told me the price of it, I was shocked.... AUD3150 for a canvas bag of that size (and with a cheapo fabric strap that one could get off Etsy)?! I haven't purchased LV in years and I was truly shocked at how pricey LV has become (for what it's worth) - and in my head I was thinking of other bags in a similar price point that is full leather - for example the Loewe Mini Puzzle is currently going for AUD3100 or the new Balenciaga Crush bag is going for the exact price of the Keepall 25 and it is also in full leather. I honestly think if the bag was in traditional Monogram Canvas with vachetta leather, I would accept it no questions asked as a substitute for the Nano Speedy, but since it is in Monogram Eclipse, and the way they arranged the canvas with the Reverse Eclipse on the sides, it's just really throwing me off.

What are you thoughts? Should I reject it when it comes in stores, or take it home with me?

Today I was offered an etoupe PM with PHW... hypothetically I would go in to see it on Friday. Etoupe/PHW is decidedly not a combo I was even considering (quite literally the one thing I told my SA I didn't want) but I've been waiting for almost a year for a PM as a baby bag and our baby was just born a few weeks ago, so I kinda feel like I should go look at it? But I don't want to be in a jam where I have her hold it for 4 days and then say no... what should I do? Should I go in and look (and possibly buy) or say now up front that I'm not interested? Hi everyone! I'm not sure if anyone knows but I thought I'd take my chance and ask the community! I live in Canada and have been itching to get a Goyard for a while now, preferably through the London or Paris location because the conversion is better for my poor CAD currency. However, I know that shipping and duties can be extra $$$$ compared to shipping from the states. (For reference I'm thinking about the Artois PM or MM, haven't fully decided).

I currently have a friend who's living in London and would be able to bring it back to Canada for me next time she comes back. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to call either location and proceed with purchasing the bag but have it shipped to her address in London instead? She's pretty busy and I don't want to cause an inconvenience for her to go all the way out to the Goyard location just for me as she doesn't live close to there. I'm just realizing now that it might not even be possible as she lives locally to a location so maybe they won't proceed with a wire transfer and ask for her to go visit directly? If anyone has any insights, that would be great! Thanks in advanced!
