I will be departing at terminal 2B and I saw that the LV is in terminal 2E. I really wanted to do some shopping there .. does anyone know if this will be possible? It is an international flight back to Canada but I’m wondering if I can have access to the 2E shopping area from my terminal..

Yes this is "PurseForum" but its so hard to find fellow designer shoe lovers... That being said, I'm in love with my new Jacno boots and I was wondering if i should just bring them to a cobbler before using and have half soles installed or just use press on grips by Kiwi? I usually just wear them before getting half soles installed but I'm so in love with these boots!!! Any thoughts?

I ALWAYS value your advice. I need a smaller, durable, crossbody and I placed an order for this Speedy Bandouliere 25 today. I have monogram canvas bags and Epi Bags and those have been very durable. I don’t have this type of leather and no Speedy bags. Do you think this is a durable leather? I don’t want to worry about it, just like the Canavs and Epi.

I have one major question….. does the bottom start to sag after awhile? That would really bother me so I want to check with all of you. It’s pricey and I really need sound advice. Thank you all in advance!!

I've wanted a Chanel bag since I was a little girl and I've finally reached a point in my life where I can make it happen. I need help narrowing down my choices and just some general guidance. I've been looking at pre-loved options. but my general feeling is that I'm not really going to save much money going this route and I will still be paying a hefty amount for something that's not in perfect condition. My problem is that I am totally intimidated by the in store process. Can I just walk into a boutique and buy a bag? I am under the impression that inventory is limited and it's likely that without a bit of luck I am not going to be able to find what I want. I guess I am just looking for tips on how to navigate the in store process.

Additionally, I am having trouble narrowing down what I actually want. I know that I don't want a WOC - I bought the Gucci Marmont Leather Mini in black last year. I know that I don't want a larger (medium/large/etc) classic flap - I am a SAHM and 99% of my things have to be functional for kids, I want this to be something totally frivolous just for me and I don't want to be able to carry a lot in it. I was in Paris last year (yes I am kicking myself for not buying then) and fell in love with a grey tweed 19 (I think it was a small or even a WOC but I've not found it in this size on the resale market so I can't be sure) but I know I don't want tweed. I'm thinking about the caramel color - its a beautiful neutral that will go with nearly everything in my closet. Is the caramel color difficult to find right now? I also love the deep teal green - it was one of my wedding colors but I realize its not as versatile. I don't plan on accumulating a ton of designer bags so I want to make this one count. Should I wait until 22k hits next month - or even 23p in November (I know there is a fair amount of caramel and also that gorgeous green) to increase my chance of getting what I want? Or should I just try to find what I am looking for on the resale market now?

Hey all - Thinking about buying a Celine tweed jacket after seeing one in person yesterday. It's beautiful and can be dressed up and down. Does anyone have a tweed jacket from Celine? How's the quality and do you not regret your purchase at all? I like the Chanel tweed jackets too but they are about 2x the price and a little too mature/feminine at my stage in life.

I've ordered an Alma bb epi noir-yay! (thanks for everyone's opinions on my other thread!).

I'm only 5'0 and well aware the strap is going to be too long (I've tried it on before).

Can LV still shorten straps? I know they used to many years ago. I've messaged my SA and awaiting her response but just wondering if anyone else has had any luck.

I'm also debating buying a strap from mcraft but worried the quality won't match that of the bag and might look (and feel) .... Off.

I don't think I'm game to have the strap shortened by a cobbler.

My last option is using my Pochette metis reverse strap or black odeon strap (very thick) with it instead but I think the clash of the gold hardware with the silver might annoy me.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I have a newish pair of the metallic (gunmetal/gold color) rockstud block heel mule sandals and after the third wear the back of the heels are scratched up. I took it to a cobbler who suggested to repair the entire heel but it won’t be the same color. I don’t know what to do. Suggestions? Has anyone experienced it with the Valentino metallic sandals ?

Help! I can’t decide on which diamond bracelet to add to my stack. Right now I have the small love (yg) and small JUC with diamonds (yg). I plan on adding 1) a diamond bracelet and 2) regular sized love (yg). I think the regular love will be down the line but thinking about what size/style diamond bracelet to add. I actually have a few now and none seem to work with my stack. My questions: bangle/flexible? Yellow gold or white? Carat weight? Reset my current or go for smaller pave? I’m so stuck and would love to see any photos.

1st Photo attached are current bracelets. #2 I can’t reset for sentimental reasons. #3 is a bangle that is slightly too tight on me. #5 is flexible but diamonds aren’t the best. #6 is a classic tennis bracelet that is too big - since it’s soft, it moves around a lot and doesn’t always look the best with the stack. 2nd photo is the bracelet that is tight on me. Don’t know if it is “too much” for daily wear. 3rd photo is from my jeweler- starting the process of making a new bracelet to match the stack.

Hi all! Thinking the Jodie in either the small size or the teen size. I am small and petite (5’3” and ~100 lbs/44 kg) so I thought the teen would be a good size. But when I tried it on, the teen feels awkward and tight on the shoulder. Small feel much more comfortable.

For those who have the teen, will it relax to the point that it feels so comfortable on your shoulder?

So I'm sure you're all fed up of me by now, but I have my LV appointment on Monday!

I've decided on the Speedy World Tour, as I think it suits my needs better than the Alma BB (although this was a VERY close call!)

Hubby is letting me get a purse to match so that I get all the sticker options I want across the bag and purse, however:

Is there a better choice between the Victorine and the Zippy Coin Purse? I think I'm preferring Victorine but just after your thoughts as you're all much more experienced in LV than me!

Or would you get a cardholder to get the sticker, along with another normal purse in monogram? If so, which one?

Is there anything I should expect from the appointment or are they usually quite straightforward?

My bag collection has gone through a lot of changes this year after spending the last couple of years living under a rock and becoming a mom. I used to carry larger shoulder bags and totes but now gravitate toward smaller bags that I can wear crossbody, because going hands-free is pretty important with a little one. I also work remotely now, so I don’t need my larger bags like when I used to work outside of my home and carry everything I needed for the day, like gym clothes for classes after work.

Sometimes I wonder how my bag needs will change once I’m done with diaper bags and strollers - will I gravitate towards totes again since I’ll probably still need to carry things for my son? It will be interesting to see, and I figured I ask other moms about how your bag needs have changed at different stages over the years. Thanks for sharing!
