Hi looking to sew a mulberry silk into a bag liner for my Loewe basket, has anyone has any knowledge of silk bags being used other than Hermes petit H tote? Will it be a good idea since it's a bug repellant material? Will it damage the items inside if I use it for long term? Can't seem to find any info on this. I know people widely use them as scarf, pillowcase and outfits, never heard about storing bags or used as a bag liner.

I have this handbag gap, and I think I finally know what I want and why some other bags didn’t work.

Wants: day to evening bag, probably a chain or leather and chain strap, roughly 10 x 6 x 3 inches, that is crossbody and shoulder friendly, structured shape

Don’t want: too many logos, too many compartments or divisions - this is really the key!

Likes: interesting hardware, leather interior, gold hardware, back sleeve

I haven’t seen the Diorama in real life and have been tempted to get one second hand for awhile. It seems like the various generations are different, I generally like a leather lining, the specs seem great and I like the classic but not too dressy vibes. There are several finishes that can work for me.

The Dionysus I had sort of admired from afar, but it seems most are logoed. I like the hardware. I wasn’t sure about the silver hardware. I hopped in the outlet today and saw one in person. I quite liked the size, strap length. This version had blue hardware which I was on the fence about. And not sure about the price. I also loved the extra flap that is perfect for your phone.

And that through a wrinkle in my plan to get the Diorama on fashionphile I have been stalking.

I have two other bags in my collection that are almost there, but I finally figured out why they don’t win - each is divided. One has a center gusset and pocket. The other has 3 I think. I and I remember thinking the Chloe Faye was going to be the bag for this itch, and I hated it because of the gussets.

Are there any other bags I should be looking at as well? I’d likely get black, consider a warmer grey, and also burgundy. And the right metallic. But this is still meant to be more of a day time bag with a variety of outfits. Not gym clothes, but my default casual is a bit dressed up. And this would also be a bag to bring to a nice dinner or a show. But not necessarily weddings. I have that covered. And bigger than a WOC to hold my essentials.

Hi all! I'm considering getting the Cabas Phantom in Taupe for a work bag. I will be in office two days a week and walking to my office (about 30min walk). I will be carrying a 16" Macbook Pro, charging plug/cable, mouse, maybe a small keyboard, my card holder, makeup bag and a water bottle.

I'm curious if anyone has used it with a 16" Macbook and could share either insight or photos on if it would be too big or heavy for the delicate leather? I'd consider getting a bag insert too but I'm not sure if that would all fit. I'm just worried about the open top on rainy or snowy days. Any help would be so appreciated! Thanks!

Hello, I am hoping you can give me your thoughts on two rings I am considering. I have an anniversary coming up and was wondering your thoughts on the two styles of eternity bands. Emerald cut or baguette style diamonds? I love that the baguette style because it is somewhat understated while the emerald cut band has a presence that is quite distinct. I don't see either style very often which makes both styles attractive to me. I am not a flashy person so I leaning toward the baguette style but somehow the emerald cut keeps calling me.

I would love to hear what you think about the bands, pros, cons or just what you like best. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Curious what actually “happens” at the store when you’re offered a B or K and go in to get it? Do they have a special area where they show you it? I’d imagine it isn’t done out in the open with other clients able to see. My question is geared toward experiences in the US. Wondering what to expect when we pick up our B!!

Hello everyone, this is my third YSL bag but first Lou Lou I’ve just had different bags with more durable leather. Is this normal brand new out of the box? There was packaging all over the bag so I didn’t notice this when I purchased it in store because all the packaging was on it. It wasn’t the floor model. I’m just surprised that there is a dent and creasing already in the bag and I haven’t used it. I would expect some creasing after somewhere, but it seems noticeable what do you think would you exchange?

Hi! I’ve been eyeing the Trinity necklace and I finally got to see it in person today. It is very stylish and yet so dainty. The pendant is so thin and small.

Looking at the price point, I am wondering if I should instead buy a trinity ring and then have the option to wear it as a necklace with a chain? I actually haven’t seen the ring in real life but I would imagine it is way more substantial than the necklace pendant. What do you all think? Also would the bigger sized ring-pendant look more dated?

Hi all! Would you sell the Mono Artsy and replace with the Loop? I am conflicted because I love the Artsy (I had 3 at one point, and sold two), but the Loop is really pretty and looks more comfortable for shoulder wear. Any owners of the Loop or Artsy have opinions?

I would not want to own both, as I try to maintain a “1 in, 1 out” policy….and I have a number of other non-LV designer bags.

I sent a Kelly to be repaired 5 months ago and I hadn't heard anything back yet, so I called the store today and to my surprise, not only had the kelly been repaired, but it had actually been at the store for 2 weeks. I asked what had been repaired and what the cost was because in my experience, after it arrives in Paris you receive an email/phone call itemizing what repairs are recommended and the price so that you can choose which services you'd like done. But I didn't get any communication after dropping off the purse earlier this year. The SA starts listing off some of the repairs, but says there's so many and that she would need to take a closer look and will call me back. I also set an appointment for Monday to go pick up the bag.

She calls me back a little bit later and goes over everything that was repaired. The cost of the repairs are more than the price I paid for this vintage kelly and more than I was expecting to get done. I explained that I was surprised all of this got done because I never received any communication about the costs and the repairs were far more than what I was expecting to get done. She says that the store operations manager will be here on Monday when I pick up the bag and that she will speak with her. No promises, but that she will speak with her.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has had this same experience? What happens in situations where the repair cost is far more than was expected? Do they send it back and undo the repairs? I find it bizarre that I received no communication about what was being repaired and that my bag even arrived. This whole experience is so different than my previous experiences with the spa.

Hi - I found an amazing deal at Nordstrom on a small beige cappucino small cut out shoulder bag that came without the long cross body shoulder strap. I am new to Givenchy for bags and wondered if there is a resource for purchasing just the long strap for it separately. Thanks in advance. I just got it in the mail today from my Nordstrom stylist and am in love with it!
