My dear ladies, I'm just so furious right now so I think I need some advice and your kind support at the moment.
I was about to wear my brand new earrings for the first time since I bought them (covid, work from home and family - I just didn't have any opportunity to wear them out!). So I'm here at the dinner finally having a little staycation with my DH, relaxing and about to put them on with my lovely necklace and I find that the post is missing on one side. I swear to all of you and to God that I have never ever wore them out before and they have been just sitting quietly in my pouch.
I'm writing to my SA immediately saying I've got a serious problem here and he's starting to tell me a totally BS story that they can order a new post but he doesn't know how much it will cost blah blah blah and that the post is not soldered etc... But it's not supposed to happen just like that!!! This is a brand new piece!
I wrote very clearly that I want it to be fixed and I don't want to pay even a single cent for it as that's a brand new pair which has never been taken out!
I'm literally writing this text right now at the restaurant being completely desperate. Please advice what to do and what you would have done in this situation. Attaching some pics for you to see this. I didn't find the post in the pouch, I'll dig up my bag later in case it's there for whatever reason... I'm just feeling so cheated and about to cry.

P. S. Funnily we've been discussing counterfeits in another thread and gosh, sometimes I think counterfeits are better made than authentic stuff. First they offered me this pair with a huge ugly stain on the dangling motif and now this. Unbelievable.

Looking for an everyday crossbody. Im in my early 30s, no kids to worry about extra stuff to carry. Usually just have my key cles, mask, iphone pro max, airpods, power bank, lipstick or two and a compact powder, maybe my passport/boarding pass if im traveling. What do you guys think? Im not a collector by any means, so this would be a pretty huge purchase, definitely need all the suggestions/opinions I can get.

Title self explanatory.....I really want to buy H fine jewelry....but seeing the second hand prices....makes it reeaaaally hard to not just buy pieces I want second hand......Why doesn't H jewelry hold its value? What does everyone think about this tweed backpack from the 2023 release? It’s a great small/mini size and the chains are nice and thick. I especially like that the straps are not leather. I noticed that the vintage version of this exact style is selling for 20-30K!! Thoughts appreciated!

Just trying to understand.. Fashionphile has LV's listed at over retail pricing, for bags that are currently available and in stock on LV's website. I understood this when LV's site was constantly sold out of several items during Covid. But now that most things are back in stock, I don't get the massive markups for used bags.

For ex, FP has a Damier Ebene key pouch listed at $450. It's currently available on LV's website for $325. They also had canvas Speedy 20s listed at $2895 (!) Which are now discounted to $2600 and $2025 (lol).

Is the Affirm payment plan worth that much of a markup?? Like if you can't afford to spend $325 direct from LV, you are going to pay $125 over new retail / $450 so you make payments on it?

I am about to make my first VCA purchase (I have mastered Tiffany and Cartier - lol, so it is time to experiment.) I would like to get Vintage Alhambra in Malachite. My SA showed me these two. I do prefer dark stones, so can you advise me which one is of a better color? These are the darkest she has at the moment. They both appear to be equally dark - just the lightning was not all that great for taking pics. Or should I wait for a better one? Anything to pay attention to? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I know this is a subjective question but I haven’t purchased a high end bag in a really long time. The last Chloe I owned was Edith and she was lovely! I wear neutral colors all the time. I tend to follow the three color max rule when I dress. My attire is pretty casual and for work -business casual. I love navy, grey, white, black, creams, tans and camels. With that being said, which color do you think would be the most versatile for me? Black, cashmere grey or tan? I wish Nut was still avail bc from photos it looks lighter? I saw the cashmere grey in person and I fell in love with that color. My only concern is when I wear camel and black together. Would the grey work with that color combo.

I love the Panthere 2-tone small watch but am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for something similar but perhaps from a different brand? I'm looking for 2-tone metal bracelet, quartz or automatic is fine. No diamonds, no pearl face. I'm just wondering if anyone other than Cartier makes a watch that fits this casual-yet-dressy vibe as well as the Panthere.

I feel so lucky to have had the SO opportunity in March and share these pics of my Rouge love.

After much debating, i followed my heart not my mind and placed my first SO - and did not use it for a quota bag. Not sure if i was brilliant or silly but I'm thrilled with my choice!

So special and makes my heart skip a beat. I forever wanted a deep red H clutch. When offered special order opportunity - and after much thought and debate, I went for this beauty!

For months, i worried that I had made a mistake by passing the opportunity to make my own special order quota bag...but to me, my Pochette SO is so rare, so perfect and beyond unique.

I just watched Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and I adore the MCU take on Namor. The underwater scenes were fabulous; Huerta Mejía plays Namor as a very complex character. I loved the costuming and the jewelry. I haven't watched Narcos, but my DH says he's a very convincing actor in the series.

I can't wait to see more of him in the MCU and other works!

I’m looking to gift my sister her first pair of luxury earrings. My husband and I are considering the Cartier trinity earrings, but I figured I would also post here and ask for recommendations.

She’s in her early 30s, has 2 piercings per ear, and generally doesn’t wear any jewelry but is hoping to start stacking her earrings. She has random earrings from stores like Mejuri and J Crew, but my husband wants to gift her a nice set of forever earrings. She has a Cartier tank watch but otherwise no lux jewelry and never wears necklaces.

The main reason we looked at trinity is bc I know she wanted to pick up a trinity ring for herself next. Hoping to keep the gift around $1000-1500, and I’m also open to buying multiple pairs of earrings. All recs are greatly appreciated!
