Hi everyone! I'm contemplating purchasing my first Mulberry bag and I can't decide between the mini or the small Zipped Bayswater. The mini seems to small but the small seems pretty large? Does anyone have any preferences/advice on which to choose? Thanks so much!

Posting my review of Frankfurt airport in case this is helpful for others.

Duty free shopping here is quite different than the rest of Europe. In other countries (ex U.K. since they got rid of vat tax shipping) if you buy at airport the price is without any VAT tax so you get the full (18-21% discount) whereas if you you buy in the city you only get ~8-14% back since the company and global blue takes a large cut.
However at Frankfurt airport they opperate the SAME way! I purchased a maxmara coat and only got 11% back instead of 19% back and still hd to go to customs and globale blue despite being ast customs ans security as well. There is NO advantage of buying at the airport compared to in the city. Quite disappointing. Also frankfurt is poorly laid out and despit my flight and the store being in terminal 1 I stil had to take a shuttle.

I also stopped at the official duty free store and was surprised that makeup was so expensive and didn’t seem to be discounted at all compared to $ prices.

does anyone know if Loewe repairs bags which are purchased via retailers (like net a porter etc) and not from them directly?
I purchased a preloved Loewe bag und there is a problem with the strap which needs to be fixed (cracked glazing, torn stitches).

Thinking of buying a lady dior. I’m considering buying this gold one as I love the gold colour, I will only be using this as an evening bag. The one pictured is the gold metallic finish my abc lady dior

My concerns however is the fact it is metallic gold, which means it has a different coating on top of the lamb skin leather.

Does anyone know or have any experience regarding if the bag is likely to chip/peeling and have wear and tear more then the normal cannage lamb skin?

Anyone have any experiences or heard anything regarding this?
I know some metallics from brands are a no go due to peeling

Recently I got my very first quota bag while traveling. It is a mini Kelly in etoupe, PHW, and epsom leather. The thing is, I actually wanted a B25 but unfortunately, I wasn’t allocated one. Hence, I was offered a mini Kelly instead. I’ve always had a preference for GHW but this was the only one they had and I was flying out the next day. Anyway, fast forward to today, I am seriously contemplating trading my mini Kelly with a Birkin25 from a reseller. I’m considering the colors Chai, Gold, Etoupe with GHW. I haven’t decided if I prefer the sellier or the retourne yet but that isn’t very important. I would like some advice from you guys. Should I do a trade for a B25 or should I keep the mini K? My fear is that since it’s very difficult to get a mini K in store, I may not be able to get another one. Please help! I’m in such a huge dilemma!

Hi! I am looking to buy my next VCA piece. So far I have vintage Alhambra necklaces in WMOP and GMOP as well as turquoise sweet earrings. I’m considering perhaps a ring because I love having pretty things that I can look down at during the day!

What would you all be looking to add given my collection? I’m not a fan of the regular Alhambra rings (don’t like the diamond in the center) but I do like the BTF.

Have you ever wanted a pair of sunglasses but for some reason never bought them and now you feel relived you skipped on them ?

for me it’s the Dior so Real. Those sunglasses i used to think were the coolest thing but did look out of my budget. Now I see youtubers with those and I feel like what hell I was obsessed with that ridiculous pair.

probably this relief is what has made me stick to Rayban. That no matter h many years pass a pair of simple classic aviators Or Wayfarer ( any of the wayfarer family) you will look chick for many years to come.

if I’d invest in something slightly more luxurious I’d think ill go with Persol or Maui Jim but skip fashion houses

the Versace Biggie look tempting though but no I’ll skip them in 6 years I’ll think of them what I think about the So Real from Dior.

Hi all. I know it's ultimately a personal and subjective decision but I would be really interested to hear any opinions.

I have a c. 11 year old beautiful 226 Reissue in ivory with gold hardware. It barely looks used, purchased pre loved a few years ago.

I know that vintage (i.e. gold plated vintage) has become super popular in recent times and I'm finding myself swept up in that trend. I love the look and already own 2 other vintage chanels (the mademoiselle vintage jumbo with the oversized CCs in black caviar, and a 1997-1999 small brown lambskin CF with 24k gh - my most used chanel). I also have two other non-vintage pieces: a lambskin pale pink woc and a green medium gh lambskin CF, both 5 - 10 years old.

I was considering selling my reissue to fund a 1998 black caviar jumbo single flap gold hardware with the small CC (not the oversized cc version). I still love the look of the reissue and I think it looks more feminine on, but just find myself reaching for the vintage CC flaps over the reissue every time. If it were you, would you make the trade?
Pros: Love the vintage CC, might be able to sell the reissue for a little more than the cost of the vintage jumbo so won't lose money (hopefully), don't reach for the reissue for some reason.
Cons: Reissue is newer, in better condition, I already have a black caviar vintage jumbo with the large CC, so it's a less diverse collection. Does one really need two vintage black caviar jumbos(!). Also selling is a pain.

I am looking at a beautiful pair of Harry Winston earrings for my birthday (see picture). I already have a pendant necklace (see picture) and my wedding set is from HW. My question is, is HW a good value for the price? I know I can get similar at a lesser price, but I tend to need a name brand behind my high end purchases as I feel that there is more value there. That said, diamonds are different from bags or VCA jewelry (that I also buy). Any advice on getting the earrings from HW or looking elsewhere greatly appreciated.

I have a Louis Vuitton Westminster, and while walking through a crowded airport someone who was holding an uncapped pen ran into me. Now I have an ink stain on the exterior of the bag. I tried using an eraser on it, as well as alcohol, and nothing has worked. I don’t want to use anything more harsh because I don’t want to damage the bag. Either way, the ink stain bothers me a lot and I found I am no longer using the bag because of it.

Anyone have luck using a handbag spa/restoration service to get rid of ink on the exterior of LV canvas?

I got my first Birkin offer after 5 months wait, it’s a Epsom leather but Retourne in gold color, my SA said Epsom color in retourne is kinda rare? Is that the case? Since the gold/gold color was not my top choice, but still debating because Epsom with retourne looks nice to me, should I pass it or accept?

This will most likely be worn during vacations in spring/summer (I wear light colors in these seasons) but I want option to wear it in fall and winter- so natural is most practical. I wear a lot of dark colors in colder climate - the turtledove would pop out too much IMO. Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to decide between the two bags and I’m having a tough time choosing. I’m really wanting a bag that I can wear cross body and fit all my essentials - I carry a LV compact wallet, eye glass case, small LV agenda, key holder, phone and LV mini pochette. I’m 5’7 and size 14. Since I don’t have a store near me, I can only go by what I see. I’m not even sure either of the bags would work cross body on my size frame. Does anyone have either bag and favor one more than the other? I know ultimately it’s my decision but any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

The only thing I worry about is that due to its unique design it obviously doesn’t come with a zipper. So I was thinking about a bag insert with a zipper. I have looked on amazon but haven’t found one that fits yet. Where do you order your bag inserts for the nano SDJ? Hi! So I bought my first Chanel bag today. I got the medium Chanel boy in quilted caviar and gold hardware. I should have looked through the posts here first before buying because now I’m torn between the 22k Coco first and the Chanel boy. For reference I’m 5’2”. I prefer just black and nude/tan tones. I have a lady dior, a dior saddle, ysl sunset and a goyard tote so I want something that’ll go with all those. What do you all think?? Should I return the boy and wait to get my hands on a Coco First? The closest Chanel to my city is 5 hours away too so that’s not fun :/

I have taken a fancy to the Harry Winston Avenue C Mini Lily Cluster Watch.

The watch is stunning, and I know it would be beautiful for cocktail and formal events. However, I am less certain that it would be an appropriate choice for more casual attire such as jeans and a sweater or blouse.

At this time, I am not really wanting to purchase a watch that would only be appropriate for formal events.

What are your thoughts?
