I am debating purchasing my first designer watch. I have always loved Cartier pieces so I know this is the brand I will go with. I'm definitely looking for something that is timeless and not over the top. I think the Panthere is the one for me.

I went to try them on yesterday. Online, I have eyed the sterling silver and the yellow gold. I think the gold is gorgeous but I tend to wear more rose gold and platinum jewelry. I also think the YG is a little bit fancier than the SS. I think the SS is more casual and more for every day wear. I do want something I'd wear every day and that works with casual outfits as well.

Pictured here are the small and medium Pantheres. I am very petite (about 5'2") with a tiny wrist; I'm in my mid 30s. They did not have the mini in stock to try on. I am curious as to your thoughts? Should I try to see if I can try on the mini?

I was surprised the small was that small. I do currently wear an Apple watch every day, so I think it's just in comparison to that. Personally, I don't think the medium works well on my wrist but that is just me.

The SA also kindly let me try on the tanks, which were lovely as well. I do think I like the look of the Panthere more, though, because of the links.

I have my sweet alhambra onyx earrings for about 6 months now and wear them daily except for the shower and swimming. I noticed that the back and clip have turned really dark! As they are 18k yellow gold I was not expecting this. I tried cleaning them but they still look discolored as you can see on the picture.
What should I do? purchased them at a boutique so first owner. Have any of you had this? I have other jewelry from VCA but haven't seen this happening.

Does anyone have a mini Lin bag and use a bag organiser? I stuck on which size organiser to buy, a speedy 25 or speedy 30 size. Would a speedy 25 be too small & move around or not look right in the bag? A 30 size too big?

Also would it be safe to use a beeswax leather conditioner on the handles & other leather parts? Any advice appreciated!

Does anyone own a YSL brooch? How often do you use it and how durable are they? I'm not sure about purchasing one because I'm not in the habit of using brooches.

Has anyone seen this brand before? It's called Sieme and they use leather scraps from other companies. The amount of leather companies throw away is shocking. The bags are actually beautiful too.

I was trying to clean the hardware to get rid of fingerprints and dust especially in the crevices of the CC’s and I accidentally scratched it. I am devastated. It’s not too bad as it’s not down to the metal so the color is still in the scratch but I need someone to talk me off the proverbial ledge here lol
This is my all time FAV bag and was in pristine condition. You can’t really notice them unless you hold it up to the light and look for them.
What do you guys think? Should I just get over it because it’s not that bad or jump off the roof?
(I’m def kidding about the roof - just SUPER upset lol)

I recently got the white in XS and the black in small with a good price (almost 50% off). However, I had the burgundy small one for a while and love it. I’m debating if I should keep both the white and the black bags or return the black one since it’s the same size with my burgundy bag. What do you think? I've been trying eyelash extensions with no luck. I just had them put on again (for the third time) this past Saturday, and again, my right eye was already thinning out and it didn't look right compared to my left eye, so I just went ahead and removed them (again).

Now, my natural eyelashes are so thin, I don't think I can even use an eyelash curler at this point. I've been thinking about using false eyelashes, but have never used them before. Are they easy to put on, or is it more of a pain than it's worth? I saw there are falsies that are magnetic that are used with an eyeliner as opposed to the glue? Which do you recommend?

I just feel at my age (57), that having my eyes a little more dramatic, would be so nice. I don't want my eyes to look like caterpillars, but want some sort of added volume. Mascara just doesn't do the trick, and I've tried many different kinds from Chanel, Lancome, Clinique, MAC to the drugstore cheapies.

Guess I just wanted to know your thoughts on falsies. Thanks!

I want to keep only one of these two bags. It’s either the:
- Black WOC SHW in caviar or
- Iridescent deep burgundy mini vanity with top handle LHGW in lambskin

The reason I’m only keeping one is because
1. I think they serve the same purpose for me - a crossbody or evening bag
2. I have 2 other black bags, hence why I’m considering letting the black WOC go as the mini vanity adds a color variety to my collection
3. I’m a little worried about the wear and tear of mini vanity, especially in lamb (I never had any lamb bag before)

Plus, any tips on how to take care of lamb/mini vanity would be very much appreciated!

I recently purchased a pair of Slingbacks from a reseller on eBay. When I received them I noticed the strap was very stretched out but otherwise the shoes looked brand new.

I took them to the Chanel boutique and compared to the new Slingbacks and material and stretch was so much stronger on the in store shoes.

The reseller tried to act like I stretched them out ‍♀️.

Do you think this means they were used or fake?

I am looking to purchase my first ever Chanel. I'm looking at the lambskin classic flap in black, either small (6 in.) or medium (7 in.) I am getting it preloved and have been looking on Fashionphile as well as ebay. I purchased a size small from Fashionphile last week and it arrived yesterday. It's beautiful and I think it fits my petite 5'1 size small frame. However, it does not come with dust bag, authenticy card, care packet, or box. What made me pull the trigger was that it was made in 2011, the year my husband and I met... and I'm a sucker for anything sentimental. I think it would be so nice to pass the bag to my daughters some day and it being made the year "mom and dad met". I paid $4,860.81 for the bag. This was after it was marked down plus an extra website 15% off holiday discount.

The other classic flap is a medium size in great condition. It's from a Japanese seller on ebay and it is a full set. Comes with box, care packet, authenticity card, and box (all in great condition). Bag is from 1994-1996. So, it is at most 17 years older than the other bag. The price for the ebay bag is $5,226.14 (not including tax and everything else).

So, based on this information, which bag would you recommend I get and why?

Does anyone have experience getting bags from Asia to the US? Is a proxy service the best way to go? If so, which did you use? I got a quote through superbuy.com for $461 USD, which is more than I'd like to pay.

I am torn between these two very different bags! I do own a padded cassette bag in almond but liked the fun vibrant color option of this one. I do not own a Celine triomphe though I do own a classic bag in a taupe color in medium leige. This Celine is the teen size . Which looks best on me and for people that own these which do you prefer ?

So I’ve been on a wait list for the white gold vintage diamond Alhambra earrings for awhile. My VA said it may be a year or two more wait due to supply issues when I saw her last summer.

When I put originally put in my request for the diamond Alhambra it was because I was looking for an everyday pair of earrings that go with everything. I love my white MOP vintage Alhambra and white gold plain Frivole earrings for summer, and my gray magic MOP earrings for winter - but I wanted a white gold pair to wear all year and with everything. Since the only non stone white gold ((was) the diamond version (the hammered or Guilloche only came in YG) it was the logical choice at the time.

However, she messaged me last month saying they got a pair of the white gold Guilloche in the newly launched line. So I went to try them on and they were stunning! Simple but sparkly. So I purchased them and they are wrapped under the Christmas tree. Then, of course, she messaged me today saying they, shockingly, just got a pair of white gold diamond vintage Alhambra. {{ Sigh }}

She said since I haven’t worn the Guilloche earrings I could trade them in for the diamond Alhambra. But I am not sure what to do.

Should I trade the Guilloche earrings for the diamond? Should I keep the Guilloche earrings and just use my other non-VCA diamond earrings I own - and maybe buy a diamond Alhambra necklace later? Or bite the bullet and get both earrings as long as there is a place for each in my life?

I wear my VCA earrings everyday with my wardrobe of jeans, blouse or sweater. I also rotate with my cartier single diamond love hoops.

When I dress up, I layer with either my 10 motif VA WG MOP, WG onyx magic pendant or WG chalcedony magic pendant.

Sen. Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., will file an amendment to the $1.7 trillion spending package, to increase the threshold for Form 1099-K, according to Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., the proposal's lead co-sponsor.

The tax reporting threshold applies to transfers using third-party payment networks including Venmo and PayPal.

In an exclusive interview with CNBC, Manchin said the amendment would increase the payment threshold to $10,000 from $600 for the 2022 tax season.
Before 2022, taxpayers received 1099-Ks with more than 200 transactions worth an aggregate above $20,000. But the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 dropped the threshold to just $600. Currently, even a single transaction of more than $600 may trigger the form.
"This is the best relief we can get for people," said Manchin, referencing the $10,000 threshold as "the best way to approach it."
He believes that raising the threshold to $10,000 has broader support than delaying implementation of the new rule.

Tax pros have 'deep concerns' about the $600 threshold​

Tax professionals have flagged the lower tax reporting threshold as a possible pain point for filers, with the risk of receiving 1099-Ks for personal transfers, such as gifts or reimbursements.

Do you think the Gucci Marmont collection can look good an any age person? Or, mostly on younger people?

I have always been a fan of the Alma and I still think it is a great looking LV. I have not worn my Alma PM Monogram in a VERY long time. i finally did wear it in a very fashionable area and I felt like a "fuddy-duddy". I do like to wear fashionable accessories and thought the Alma was fashionable. Most of the handbags worn where I was -were "up-to date" handbags. I know i should not compare what I wear to what others wear and should wear what I like. but-I still felt like a "fuddy-duddy".

I was originally going to purchase the new Horsebit bag as I love the classic Horsebit. Then while browsing PF I have seen so many with the new Aphrodite! Harry Styles Guuci advert has been in the news! Can't really articulate why but i feel it's "off" and inappropriate - poor judgement and mixed up. I don't have a lot of Gucci but did enjoy the sophistication of the designs. I normally love using the few few silks and scarves I own at this time of year.

Hi there. Does anyone own a Chanel Metallic Ombre Goatskin piece from 2022, such as a bag or SLG? I am interested in knowing how it wears being metallic. I am aware the metallic finish may not be as durable and may rub off, however I wanted to hear about people's experiences with this combo. Will the ombre look less attractive as it ages even if you care for it? Any cons? Thank you

Has anyone attempted Bal-specific repairs (fixing harware, repairing rips, etc., not shortening straps) outside of the warranty window? If so, would you recommend a reputable repairer for Bal bags?
