Hi, I’m looking to buy a diamond bangle (around 3 tcw) and studs (2 tcw) from a NYC jeweler. My fiancé and I are planning to go to the diamond district to look at options, but I know it can be super overwhelming there.

Does anyone have a NYC jeweler they recommend / trust who has reasonable prices? Thanks! (Doesn’t necessarily need to be diamond district). My e-ring is from Lauren B, which could be a potential option.

I am really struggling between these two. They are so different, the YSL bag I know I will use alot although she is super tiny. Big plus that there is the option of a shoulder strap. It's also really timeless.

The Chanel bag is so cool, but not so easy to use as the YSL. I will be getting her for the same price as the YSL (1500usd), and I think the Chanel is worth more than what I am paying for it and will also increase in value. I already have two Chanel bags, black and beige medium flaps, so I feel like it is time for me to be a bit more playful in my next Chanel purchase.

I have a plain love and plain JUC both in RG and realllly want an Alhambra bracelet to stack. I never take my jewelry off and wanted something I can keep on 24/7 with my stack. I don’t mind scratches so long as the bracelet won’t fall off. I know there are stones that can’t get wet though.
The red bracelet I just tried on today and don’t wear often—-any opinions on if I should keep it on or off for my stack? It’s not a brand but gifted and ruby stones—

What Van Cleef Alhambra should I get to stack? Sooo many options and I’m super indecisive.

I realise most serious watch fans don't consider quartz editions, but from a fashion perspective, do you think Cartier quartz watches are desirable?
I could go for either quartz or automatic but have small wrists and it seems as if the automatics generally start at larger sizes.

I have a plain love RG and JUC RG. Found this ruby bracelet that was gifted to me that’s RG from Asia and I don’t know how I feel about it? What do you guys think? I keep thinking of Van Cleef Alhambra and just 1 more plain love bracelet. What should be my next piece? Should I keep the ruby piece on or take off? I usually don’t wear it just tried to stack it today! Don’t know much about ruby but it doesn’t shine as much as I want it to! Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

Hello all, so I purchased a 22p caramel mini rectangular flap (my dream bag in dream color honestly) pre-loved. The color is to die for, I really love it! However, I am superbly disappointed in the apparent lack of attention to detail on Chanel's side. Look at this chain... the flap of the leather of the interwoven chain literally sticks out of the grummets. I'm sure a fake bag would look better than this!!! (this bag has been authenticated twice, I do not doubt its authenticity).

Anyone else notice this on 22P pieces?

All my other Chanel pieces are vintage for a reason. The quality is incomparable!

I’ve asked before about how to pack lambskin Chanel mini bags for domestic traveling in an airplane (by myself without my kid), so now I know how to handle that.

Now this situation is going to be more complicated since my 4-year-old will be with me for this long-haul international flight. It’ll be approx. 11 hours in flight and another 3-5 hours in the car or inside airport with suitcases, stroller, and kiddo stuffs.

I don’t think wearing my lambskin mini bag will be a good idea as my main purse since I’m expecting a lot of bathroom trips with the little one while taking care of lots of other stuffs; however, leaving it packed and stored inside our carry-on (which will be left inside overhead compartment in flight most of time) doesn’t sound that good neither.
(and of course, worse if left inside checked luggage)

Could anyone share your experience about how you packed your cute bags during that kind of trips? I’d really love to wear mine while having coordinated outfits!

I am an extremely lucky lady and received a black Burberry Short Kensington Heritage Trench Coat for Christmas this year from DH and FIL.

For reference, I am 5'-2" and 122 lb (long torso, short legs, haha). The size 2 coat (see pic below) felt slightly constricted in the shoulder/arm area, and it bunched up a bit in the chest area, so I returned it and will be sizing up to a size 4.

I am a musician, so half of my wardrobe consists of black outfits. Within the short period of time that I was in possession of the black trench coat, it seemed like I could see every spec of dust, lint, and dog fur (pug and Australian shepherd owner here; just look at my socks). Even though I felt like the black color looked really sharp, I'm afraid of having to carry around a lint roller every time I wear it. I want to be able to enjoy the coat without all the silly maintenance.

So, my question for all of you wonderful people is: when I exchange for the size 4, should I go for the classic honey color instead?

I’ve never been a fan of the vanity bag with chain used as a handbag as I think it’s bulky/not easy to open multiple times however I walked past a Chanel beauty store the other day and they had one displayed alongside other vanity cases.

It got me thinking - is it worth get one as an actual vanity bag seeing it has a mirror. I was thinking it might be useful to take out and keep in the car when I need to touch up my make up during the day.

Does anyone use it in this way?

Hello ladies. Im very curious to see how are we feeling about the speedy 30 in 2023. I grew out of the speedy because I now have tiny ones and a bag that doesn’t at least get on the shoulder simply doesn’t work.

I still have my speedy that I bought when it was 500 bucks. It’s in DE and looks 90% new. I cannot decide if I should keep it in my closet for the next fifteen years and then May be pass it to my daughter or if I should sell it. Do you ladies think the speedy is a true classic and will stand the test of time?

I’m just very curious to see what we r thinking and while I 100percent believe in wear whatever you like, I am interested to see how we feel about it from an objective trend perspective.

Hello! I’ve been searching for a good everyday white bag (it’s not easy lol) and I stumbled upon the quartz Marelle. I like that it’s in epi leather which means it’s sturdy enough for everyday but I looked at ig photos and saw that the crossbody strap is thick I prefer a thinner strap.

If you own the Marelle, how are you liking it so far?

Any recommendations for an alternative everyday white bag? Thanks in advance

Ive been wanting to own a woc but they are mostly out of my price range so I ended up purchasing a lambskin seasonal flap bag as I have been wanting to own at least one chanel. Then i got worried because it is a lambskin and i heard it is very delicate
Then I saw this amazing chanel jumbo flap bag in a good price and more expensive than the seasonal one. Initially I got it to resell but then my husband told me that it was his christmas present. So now I am stuck with 2 bags which cost me more than I could spent for a bag. These are ate pros and cons of each bag.

Chanel chevron cc button flap bag

Pros-
it is unique. I dont have what everybody has. Its even rare that I never see it on the second hand market.
It fits more my life style. I only bring my phone and wallet.its limited edition (i think)

Cons-
Its lambskin. I want to use it regularly but I heard it is delicate and high maintenance.
I heard it wont ever appreciate as its not a classic.
I already own lots of small bags like ysl, chloe and a LV favorite quite similar to this.

Chanel jumbo in caviar 2008/2009
Pros-
I heard its a classic so it holds its value possibly increase in value in time.
Its caviar. So i can use it more frequently
Its a big bag (not so big to me) so perfect for travel and i can bring a hand sanitizer and passport.
It will be my only big crossbody bag.
Has more sentimental value as its a gift from hubby.
This will be the last time I will spent this much on a bag.
I can now use my long wallet because it will fit it.

Cons-
I feel guilty as it is even more expensive than the fridge and the stove combined that I had just bought.
I will feel weird using it as it will only contain my wallet and cellphone and maybe car keys. I couldve used my small bags for this.

So what do you guys think? I am thinking of selling some of my bags to make up for the money i spent on these two but I couldnt decide which one to let go. The one I was contemplating to sell is a LV favorite that my husband bought in store so its a bit sentimental too. And my husband wont be happy either if i sold it less than I paid which I know is just right. I dont use it much these days because i hate the magnet. It does not fully close when I insert the car keys. I am so confused on what I should do but I feel so guilty. Which one shouod I resell??? Thanks

I have been eyeing the chanel 19 bag in small for a while and finally I am getting one. Just torn on which one. Please help!! I just can’t make up my mind.
Things to consider:
-I already have a lot of black chanel bags (trendy, mini, classic flap tote, and a vintage bag)
-In general I have a lot of black bags but love black for it’s ease and versatility
-I don’t have any tweed
-I wear mostly neutral colours

I am sure this has been asked before but I was curious how many of you that have VCA Mother of Pearl items and take them off daily? I purchased the Sweet Alhambra bracelet and have been taking it off nightly and before I shower and it is a little annoying to put back on. I have been baby-ing it so much even when washing my hands. Maybe I am spoiled with my Cartier pieces which I never take off. If anyone leaves the pieces on 24/7 how are they holding up and how long have you had them?

She hasn't bought a Chanel for years so I thought this would be a great gift for our 12th anniversary. Is this an item that would be difficult to source? Anyone with SA in San Francisco (or even San Jose)? How about Vegas? We will be there during MLK Jr. Weekend in 2 weeks.

Hello! Ive heard about bags that was turned brandnew when subjected to a spa. They change the hardware, they altered the leather and they dye it as well. I have a bag with some damage in front of the flap, on the leather part and my sister offered to shoulder the expenses to have it spa’d so it would be new again. However, I was hesitant because I feel like it would affect its value. My sister told me that if anything, it should increase its value but I feel like it is going to depreciate instead. What is your opinion? Does having your chanel bag spa’d to a new condition make it worth even morenor less? Or is it better to leave it alone?
