I have the gorgeous 21S iridescent pink medium flap and I feel so silly but...I'm afraid to use it! I haven't worn it once since I bought it, although some of that is due to (hopefully temporary) changes in my lifestyle due to the pandemic, parent health issues, personal injuries, etc. But every time I take it out of the closet, 1) my heart skips a few beats, and then, 2) I get anxious because I have no idea what to expect with the wear and tear. Please help! Are you wearing your iridescent bags? How have they worn so far? Any excessive wear and tear or other issues to report? Are they sturdier than expected? Do you think they will age gracefully as you wear them over time? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Btw, I'm one of those people that keeps their bags forever. I like how bags break in and patina over time, so I'm not hoping that this bag will stay in 100% perfect condition. I just need to know that the pink color won't wear off or that the iridescent coating won't fade or chip unevenly, etc. Part of me is tempted to just wear the darn thing and deal with however it wears over time. I initially wanted the caviar flap from the same season but I bought the iridescent because that's what my SA was able to get for me - and I fell in love with it the second I unboxed it.

Hey everyone, beware- 24s has been charging higher prices for the exact same LV items that are listed on Women's, versus Men's. This seems to be for the items that were released originally under the Men's collections.

Eg. Watercolor Tote GM is $3280AUD on the Men's site, but $3398AUD on Women's

I have checked with members on the EU thread, and they have also found these price discrepancies in their currencies.

I wrote to 24s' Customer care and asked if they would standardise the prices for women and men, otherwise it is discriminatory. Their response was, it is a marketing decision. This is obviously a very poor marketing decision!

If anyone else wanted to write to them and complain, that could help.

I'm casually looking at a (preowned, obviously discontinued) YG and diamond roadster with a YG bracelet that would be too small for my wrist as it is now. Does anyone know if Cartier can add links to a watch they no longer produce? Any insight much appreciated. Should I just put the whole idea to bed? TIA.

This new collection is pretty neat. We do a lot of camping in the spring and fall with our kids, so the waterproof poncho really appeals to me. I also like how the travel bag is also a backpack, etc.

Ok, dear friends: I'm searching for a small bag that can just hold essentials: iphone 13 pro max, H cardholder, keys, sunnies, hand sanitizer. I have tried a Bottega Veneta cassette bag- I like that the strap is adjustable but I don't like the fact that it can't be removed. So, if for the purposes above, you had to choose between an Hermes Evelyne TPM or a Loewe Puzzle Mini, which would you choose and why?

I have not yet played with either of these (I have much experience with larger puzzles and evelynes, just not these smaller sizes). For those of you who have/had both, are the cross body straps the same length or is one shorter?

Color aspirations for both bags will be a light warm neutral w/gold HW, ideally (for Loewe: sand with gold HW and for Evelyne: trench/biscuit/chai...maybe as dark as etoupe, with gold HW, ideally. Ideal leathers will be grained, so togo for the H and the grained calfskin for the puzzle).

I know many puzzles are made by hand- are the minis too? Not sure. Thanks for your thoughts!

Mine are RG JUC and love RG. Wanted another love to stack but my husband said it looks like handcuffs on me he said it looks better with what I have (1juc and 1love). I tried the trinity bracelet to see how a dainty bracelet would look and I like it too!

Any thoughts? I’ve seen loves stacked and it looks so good on others!

I can’t decide between Maida or Montaigne. I heard horror stories about the turtledove neverfull turning yellow. Spoke with my SA who stated the issue had been corrected on the neverfull and she never heard it on the Maida. I’m now torn between these two bags. I can’t find much info about the Maida, but the Montaigne seems to be a keeper for most people. I must admit I’m not overly impressed with the LV empriente leather but I do love that bag and I absolutely love the turtledove color. I also love how the Montaigne has a non vachetta strap as well.

Thoughts?

Mulberry sale went live on 26th December - has anyone made a purchase or two? Small/mini bags and went so fast!

I was looking specifically for a Mini Antony or a smaller bag. Missed out on Mini Antony in a check pattern printed on scotchgrain and missed out on the rusty orange one too!

Ended up with a Mini Antony in chalk heavy grain leather which i'm not sure is a sale item but was £325 reduced by a random 15% to £275. Beautiful colour and can't wait!

Anyone else pick up anything?

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! I was lucky enough to be gifted both a 3 ct diamond tennis bracelet and a 5 ct diamond tennis bracelet from my wonderful husband for Hanukkah and Christmas!! My question is I noticed when I wear them with sweaters or wool coats, little fuzzies get caught in the prongs. They don’t snag my sweaters just little fuzzies are seen when I take them off. How is this avoided? I don’t want to hold these beautiful pieces in my jewelry armoire til spring when we aren’t wearing sweaters anymore but I’m afraid to pull out these fuzzies on a daily basis. Is there an easier way to remove them safely?
Also, can I wear my new tennis bracelets stacked or will the diamonds scratch eachother? I know only a diamond can scratch another diamond so this is also a concern.

I am looking for a handbag that has silver hardware to wear with platinum jewelry. I know a Chanel flap would work, but I wil not spend $8,200 plus tax to get one.

So I have narrowed my choices down to the Gucci Marmont small shoulder bag with silver hardware, a Prada nylon bag of some kind (I do have the Re-Edition mini in black) or an LV pochette in black with silver hardware. I am leaning towards the Gucco though.

Do you think the Marmont bags look good with the silver hardware? I do like the way they look with gold hardware but right now i am looking for silver hardware.

I bought my mom her first Dior Lady in Smal (Hazelnut color) for Christmas. It took me forever to find the one that has some shine/luster to it as most of them look more matte/dull. She is slightly concerned with two things and I am unable to assist her because my Lady Mini does not have these "issues." She expressed her concern pertaining to the stitching where the needle penetrated the leather too tightly, leaving tiny tears (it is not too visible but they appear throughout the bag) and will the tears get worse compromising the bag? The second issue is wrinkling of the leather (it does not look too bad) but will it look worse or at risk of color chipping off later in the future due to wrinkling? Would these two concerns bother you?

Hello and happy new year fashion friends!

I have a dilemma and I wanted to get your opinion on it. I like to think of myself of somewhat of a minimalist and I only really want to collect one of each bag. Got my Birkin offer last year and was patiently waiting for a K28. Then I recently came across a vintage K32 in box calf in an exceptionally good price so I snagged it. But I still have a longing for an in-store Kelly offer and a Kelly in size 28. Should I settle since I already have a K32 and it's sufficient? Or should I also try to get a K28 store offer?

Reasons why I want the K28:

• I want a smaller sized Kelly for more formal occasions (but how often do I actually attend them? rarely)
• I want a Kelly in a more robust leather like togo as an alternative to the box leather
• I love the in-store feeling of getting offered and feeling special (sorry just being frank ;P)
• The Kelly prices keep going up and I fear that if I don't buy it I will "regret" it one day and buy one later down the road at a higher price?

Reasons why I am hesitating:

• Already have a K32 and I know that the Kelly style isn't the one I tend to go for most. I like casual slouchy bags so I'm usually reaching for my Picotin or Evelyne. Even my Birkin only gets a few days of wear per year. And I prefer the Birkin to the Kelly.
• I'm not really a shoulder bag kind of girl and I find the closure on the Kelly too fussy
• There is really no color that I need in a bag. I have all my colors covered now too so I'll probably duplicate and ask for a Kelly in black or etoupe...
• The price - it's a lot to pay for a bag that I'll use only a handful of times per year (but some argue it's an "investment"...) hmm..

Was in the BH location 2 weeks ago to buy a white toiletry case. Just stood there and nobody would talk to me. I wasn't dressed particularly well. It was cold...so jeans, T shirt, black coat, and sneakers. But I have the money which is why I'm in there in the first place. They finally pawned some SA onto me who was not too impressed with my request. So unfriendly. Wouldn't even look at me. Just looked over the top of my head. I wanted one in white and another SA said she thought there was more upstairs (or something) and he refused to look for it. Just a snobby jerk who thinks his sht doesn't stink. Really ruins it for any nice Goyard SA's out there because I won't be going back.

I purchased a Gucci Marmont from TJ Maxx last year in June. I’ve never purchased a Gucci but everything looked good on it, in my opinion. I never used the bag so I decided I would like to sell it. In order to sell in a Facebook group, I need to show authentication. Reached out to Dr Runway to find out it is a Counterfeit bag. I’m distraught. I’ve never purchased a bag from TJ Maxx but people say their stuff is real and I paid $1200 for this bag. I’m not even sure what to do from here. I sent an email to TJ Maxx and have all the photos of the bag, receipt and stuffing and everything it was shipped with.

I recently purchased my first B30 in Togo preowned from Fashionphile. I swore I would never cross over from Chanel (I have a huge collection) to H & yet here I am. I know I overpaid ($14,072 with tax & overnight shipping) from retail. It's from 2015 (color Plomb which is now discontinued) with some corner wear, marks/scuffs & scratches on HD. I'm struggling a bit for several reasons.. one being am I really ready to pay this much for a handbag when I have so many others to use; I lead a very casual lifestyle (stay at home mom) so will I have enough occasions to use it? (I'd be hesitant to bring it to my tennis classes LOL); & was it a bad price considering it has wear? The reality is that I don't want to play the H game & just end up purchasing things I don't really want or need. I'm not into scarves, twillies etc; I just want a B LOL but that being said, am I settling for this vs being patient? However, I def don't want to pay more than what I paid & I know the resale market is so high. What if I ever want to resell it down the road; are discontinued colors hard to resell & would I have to bring it H spa before reselling? Sorry so many questions!! Do I just cut the tag off & start enjoying it?!! THANKS for any input
