Hey everyone, beware- 24s has been charging higher prices for the exact same LV items that are listed on Women's, versus Men's. This seems to be for the items that were released originally under the Men's collections.

Eg. Watercolor Tote GM is $3280AUD on the Men's site, but $3398AUD on Women's
Watercolor Outdoor Pouch is $1830AUD Men's, $1942 Women's
Pochette A4 Multipocket $1252AUD Women's https://www.24s.com/en-au/pochette-a4-multipocket-louis-vuitton_LVU59F69BRWZZZZZ00?color=brown versus $1228 for Men's https://www.24s.com/en-au/pochette-a4-multipocket-louis-vuitton_LVU72QHKBRWZZZZZ00?color=brown

I have checked with members on the EU thread, and they have also found these price discrepancies in their currencies.

I wrote to 24s' Customer care and asked if they would standardise the prices for women and men, otherwise it is discriminatory. Their response was, it is a marketing decision. This is obviously a very poor marketing decision!

If anyone else wanted to write to them and complain, that could help.
@Vlad thought I'd tag you and @Megs for awareness. This is very discriminatory!

What a strange marketing strategy. I was thinking they would correct the prices for the same exact items and err on the side of a higher price tag !! :confused1::blah:

It's a valid marketing strategy. Like the same bowl of soup in the airport versus in a shopping mall food court. The same movie playing during weekday and during weekend. The same seat on a flight sold one year prior vs one day prior. It's not against the law or competition policy that I am aware of. It's merely market segmentation, and in this case the seller has identified a segment willing (generally) to pay a higher price for the same item and took advantage of it. There's a term for it i the US (I think?)- the pink tax.
