My dream stack is all these but unfortunately due to the loose fitting of my juc n love, the tennis bracelet doesn't work, it gets tangled up even though its the same length as my love. I am thinking of replacing the tennis bracelet with either Etincelle or another love small in white gold...

Yesterday I saw two beautiful bags, a beige Claire medium in caviar and a beige Claire small in lambskin, both in gold hardware. Does anyone have the beige Claire in lambskin? It has a beautiful feel…just wondering if I might regret buying a lambskin due to its more sensitive nature in a light color.

Over the years I have purchased a few additional straps and chains for my bags. Currently, they are stored inside the last bag it was was worn with. Problem is, out of sight out of mind, I can never remember exactly what I have. I am looking for any storage tips that may help?? Thanks.

Assuming it is on the bigger size (at least a Kelly 32 or larger or a Birkin 30 or larger) which bag's handle do you find more comfortable for long usage w/the bag full/reasonably full? Is the single handle Kelly more comfy (so, assume you're not using the shoulder strap) or the double handle Birkin? Please only vote if you've tried both bags

I posted a thread a few months ago about selling a Chanel bag to part-fund a Hermes Kelly. It was between my Trendy, my black classic flap and the 19.

I’ve made the decision to sell my Trendy as it’s my least used bag, although it’s my favourite out of the three!

Anyway, I was just wondering if now was a good time to sell? What is the resale market like for the Trendy now? I know a few years ago they were quite in demand and were only available from the boutiques every other season. Have things changed? Is it a lot less popular now, and easier to get hold of in the boutiques? Will I be able to get much money for it? I would have preferred to sell my 19 as I feel they are becoming dated now but I use it regularly. TIA!

Hi TPFers! I somewhat recently got the YG guilloche 5 motif and love it! However, as others have pointed out, it really isn’t an every day piece as it is so prone to scratches. I am now looking for an every day 5 motif to stack with my reg love and sm juc, both in yellow gold. I am looking for a nice neutral, but no MOP due to how delicate it is. Onyx was the obvious choice at first, but I’m not sure that I really love that stone. It’s neutral but a bit harsh for me. I am considering tigers eye as it would go very well with my wardrobe and with all my yellow gold jewelry (I also have a few frivole pieces). I’ve searched the forum for pics but would really appreciate if anyone could share their tigers eye stacked with other YG pieces. Would also love any feedback on the durability. From what I gather on the forum it is pretty hearty. I haven’t had any luck finding it the boutique or even online so any info would be much appreciated!

I visited my first VCA boutique yesterday in search of sweet Alhambra earrings. I was dismayed that none were in stock but did hold up some sweet pendants to my ears. Intricate little pieces of artwork! My heart was set on hammered rose gold, and I loved the way the hammered gold sweet pendant looked held up to my ear. Then I was told that sweet hammered earrings couldn’t be ordered and the wait time was unknown. Bah! Humbug!

I was scrolling on the VCA website today and kept returning to the sweet Alhambra carnelian earrings. Moreover, I realized that rose gold hammered earrings might be redundant because I already have a pair of Cartier Love studs and Tiffany beans in rose gold. On a whim, I placed an online order for the (shockingly currently available) sweet carnelian earrings.

Think I’ll regret this purchase? I love wine and orange colors and think carnelian would be a welcome spot of color in my jewelry collection. They arrive in 2 days, and I cannot wait. Anyone else initially drawn to one piece but then realize a different one was a better fit?

Sending my best to everyone this weekend. I did my clear out, getting rid of big handbags that take up a good deal of space and purchasing small leather items.

Out went four large bags and a wallet and replaced with three 8"-10" crossbody bags and two wallets. It has been forever since I made a wallet purchase. I sold one NWT because it was a duplicate color and kept my current red Alto and the two Alto wallets that have not been used and sitting in their boxes.

I checked my old receipts and the three Alto wallets (checkbook clutches 8" size?) were $295.00 and I paid $147.50 around 2014.

Do the wallets still come in gift boxes? Also, I wonder if I should have waited for a better sale. I haven't had any luck the few times I looked at "wallet wednesday" sales. I had trouble finding the style, size, color and leather I was after and made an impulse purchase this morning.

I hope the quality is alright because the original price was only $168.00 and my one Alto that was $295.00 needs repaired in two places. Does D&B still do repairs? I wonder if the shipping cost is worth it or if I should take a chance with a local repair. The zipper pull tore (I kept the leather) and the leather pulled from the stitch line by the ID window. Both things seem pretty minor.

I ended up getting the ostrich continental clutch in burgundy and the lizard embossed large zip around in grey. The sale price is $76.44 each. I'm not sure if they go on sale for a better price. Additionally, since my more expensive Alto wallet didn't exactly hold up, I wonder if the cheaper wallets will fall apart. The wallet is my first item to ever have issues and I am careful with my D&B (except for the Chelsea tote I dumped 16 ounces of water in the bottom by mistake).

Can anyone with wallet experience provide feedback? Thanks!

Guy in my 30s here. I am engaged and getting married to a great guy in a few months. On my left hand I wear a rose gold ballon bleu and a rose gold pave full size love ring. With the diamonds, the rose doesn't necessarily shine the same way my full size yellow pave love bracelet does on my skin. I was thinking this ring might serve as a combo engagement and wedding but I am now considering whether I might want something to augment its sparkle. I do not want white gold. The pave diamond love doesn't come in yellow in full size and the smaller bands aren't the same thickness as the first ring and will not sit flush.

I am considering a yellow gold 3 diamond full size love ring to wear on top of the engagement ring. Do we think this might work well? I really like that ring and haven't seen others I think will stack especially well.

The Reissue is a brand new and a full set whereas the Caviar is very good cond with the box and card.


My question is is the Aged calfskin more roomy flexible than the caviar.? So it can hold a little more? Or is it about the same?

Which is more durable? I will be using this as an additional phone holder and may use it on special ocassions also without another bag.

I’ve been looking for this one Chanel costume jewelry piece and the only place I’ve found it is Buyma. I realize purchasing through that website can be risky due to fakes, but given that this is about costume jewelry, is it as risky as say, a handbag? Are there a lot of knockoffs made of costume jewelry pieces?

I found two listings. The prices seem reasonable for a Chanel choker in my opinion, but it would also be my first piece, so perhaps I’m being naive.

I purchased a love cuff but am debating whether to exchange for a full bracelet. I love the look and feel of the regular love bracelet but am totally leary about the screws loosening/stripping or being a source of anxiety over many years. I know I can wear a bracelet 24/7, but it's the 1-3 times in the year I anticipate I might take it off that worries me, like medical procedures/tests, heavy yard work, traveling abroad in the summer to places I don't want to be flashy, etc.

If you have a regular love, how many times do you take it off and has your bracelet's locking mechanism gotten looser over time? In hindsight would you have gotten the cuff? I really like the cuff, too, but all things being equal of course I would prefer the full bracelet. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

You can pick pieces above this amount, just means more to pay.

I’m thinking this might be my last (new from store) Louis Vuitton purchase for a while, the prices are getting a bit up there for the offerings. The pieces I’m thinking about are the Side Trunk (monogram), Loop Hobo, Keepall 25 (not sure which pattern), Onthego PM (monogram), Volt One small pendant, Coussin PM, ooooor even the Nano Noe.



To make things even more complicated, it’s not specifically limited to LV. You can also pick from Bottega Veneta, Celine, Fendi, Gucci, YSL, (select) Loewe, Dior and Dior Homme… I’ve attached some eyecandy/stuff I’m looking at for reference. I absolutely ADORE the leather MJ uses - its so thick and holds its shape soo well - no slouchiness in sight! I highly recommend - they have proper size for any need. For work, i’d use my Brown small one if i need to carry my laptop - mini and Micro, as well as the Moto shot 21, are for more casual days, grocery runs etc. Or shopping of course!

I've been wanting a black chevron mini for the longest time and I've stumbled across someone selling theirs in pristine condition and for an acceptable price (I'm desperate to get my hands on one). She mentioned that Fashionphile offered her a price and she's looking to see if she can sell it for a bit more on her own. The only thing included would be the authenticity card (no box, no receipt but she said she has a video of her unboxing it when she first got it). I'm hoping for some advice. I have a few pairs of shoes that have been sitting in my closet since Covid and a couple of new ones I haven't worn yet. They're ballerina flats, flat sandals and low heeled sandals and shoes. I have older ones that I only resoled after they wore down but am thinking to resole these right from the start. The cobbler of course told me, yes I should but when searching the forum (and googling) opinions varied.

Two are Jacquemus and one is the Givenchy (has two straps).

Any opinions? I love the candy color on the Jacquemus. I know some people don’t like the brand but the colors and shape has grown on me over time.

I’ve loved this classic style for years, but was never a tote person. When this got down to $89 I couldn’t pass it up. Meet Miss Geranium! I need to move into her soon and see if it works as well as I imagine. I want the Navy color too. I’m so excited as it’s been a year or two since I got ANY new bag!
