I had planned to buy the butterfly mop BTF ring, and had actually already put a hold on one in my size, to pick up in a couple of weeks. However now I’m getting “cold feet” and debating whether I should get the frivole pave BTF ring instead? I do plan to wear this ring on a close-to-daily type basis (ie not just special occasions) and I’m not certain if the pave version is too much for such use, or if it’s more of a special occasion piece? Any thought would be helpful!

I’ve tried so hard to curate my bags and keep then at 10 - 12 but I always fail..lol..I feel like giving up and just settle on 20 bags as my maximum limit. I currently have 18 in my collection, 3 of which are just added in 2023. Here’s the most recent pic of my collection:

A part of me wants to cull my collection and downsize them just to 10 but at the same time, I rationalise having all 18 of them because I use them for different purposes. Granted my Speedy 30 and Alma PM are on the backburner now but I don’t want to lose the “big bags” because I usually use them during winter. I might sell the Loewe rafia soon as I only used it less than 5 times.

I am looking to purchase my piece of Cartier jewellery. I want something I can wear everyday - I spend a lot of time in gym gear and am a jeans/t'shirt kind of girl. I have narrowed my list down to the following:-

Love Ring (open to wedding band or wider)
Trinity Ring
Earrings - love studs or hoops

Am leaning towards the earrings because I am worried about how much the rings (any of the options) will scratch.

What do you all think? I am also wondering if I should just spend the 3K on a pair of nice diamond earrings from a local jeweller!!

I’m looking for a cute casual everyday crossbody. I generally use my YSL Lou Camera bag or Gucci Marmont but I’m looking for something even more casual if that makes sense. I have 3 little kids and still use a diaper bag so I want something small and crossbody and it’s for my stuff only lol I generally only carry my phone, keys, small LV wallet and sometimes a little makeup. I am eyeing the re edition in either nylon or Saffiano leather… I’m torn between this bag or the LV Multi Accessoires Pochette. I know this trend has been around for a while now and maybe passed but I still think it’s cute! Please tell me the good, bad and ugly. If you prefer leather or nylon… etc.

I love the look of a thick canvas strap for my Kelly so thinking about getting one. My home store has some but I'm going to Paris next week. SA is fine with me shopping in Paris.

Does anyone know the canvas strap selection in Paris? I'm looking for a solid color strap that will go with etoupe and red (maybe navy blue?). Also do straps in general count as SLGs for pre-spend purposes?

I ended up with this beautiful preloved chocolate Bayswater by default really. Originally, I was buying a chocolate Ledbury. The preloved luxury bag seller emailed to let me know the Ledbury was missing from his stock. I was disappointed. He said I could have a full refund or he could offer me a chocolate Bayswater instead at no extra charge and if I wasn't happy with it I could return it with a refund of the postage and a complete refund of my money. I accepted the replacement, of course.
it's in beautiful condition, although it needed a bit of conditioning, especially the cochette and the expander straps. It came complete with padlock and keys. All metalwork is a bronze colour. I was wondering if I could polish it with metal polish? I don't want to lose the colour. I'm beyond thrilled with the bag and the whole experience. It's coming along beautifully now it's not so dry. Ha metal mul berry tree tag and Made in England in capitals on a black label.

I should start with the fact that I am a huge fan of anything fish. As I swimmer I feel at home in the ocean and get such joy from being around aquatic life. So when the Sardine was introduced, I thought “this is a ‘me’ bag.”

But me is also practical so the bag has to be able to be worn with different outfits, be easy enough to carry, and hold my essentials.

The good news is, it works! It’s a neat piece and it makes me happy. I thought I’d share my observations and how I intend to wear it.

Let’s start with how it looks.

The larger weave works with the proportion. It’s new so it’s stiff. I’m hoping it softens over time and develops a nice drape.


The handle is sold brass and this is what gives the bag its weight. The scratches and marks are signs it was hand forged. I don’t love this.

It hold a a lot! The orange scarf booklet is supposed to represent a phone.

I'm torn between these two styles - I love a top handle feature (added bonus is that is has a crossbody strap) but I also love this newer flap crossbody style as it reminds me of the LV pochette metis which is another bag I live in year round. I appreciate everyone's opinions!

Hello! Decided to exchange my 0.36 carat diamond pendant for a 0.56 carat one. At this carat weight, I’m not sure if I should keep the bail setting or have it fixed stationary on the chain itself. I’ve attached a photo of what I mean. Apparently the change of setting is free of charge upon purchase, but I will not be able to exchange/return the pendant. Please share your experiences with a pendant bail/fixed setting! Thank you

I haven’t bought an LV bag since before I had my first baby 5 years ago! I now have 3 little ones and barely reach for my bags anymore. My hubby got me a cute YSL crossbody a couple of years ago for my birthday so between that and my diaper bags that’s all I wear lol A few days ago he said he ordered me an early Mother’s Day gift! It showed up and it’s a gorgeous black and beige empreinte leather neverfull. I LOVE the colours and the leather, however I find now that I’m a mom I only want smaller crossbody bags. I’m dressed more non the casual side most of the time and I like my hands free. I also tried on the NF and the straps seem so much shorter than my classic mono NF. I don’t think I want a shoulder bag… unless it’s a big shoulder strap that would fit over an coat. Anyway, I’m stumped on what to exchange it for. I know the empreinte leather is dressier in general but Id still love something in it. These are bags I’m debating between. I’d love feedback, opinions and suggestions

Thanks to everyone who kindly commented on my previous thread! I ordered a sweet hammered gold pendant a few days ago but then had a fear that the vintage might be a better option. I then ordered the vintage in gray MOP to provide a real contrast to determine which looks best, and it arrived today. I’m definitely leaning one way but am curious what everyone else thinks, especially because I’m so new to VCA. Thoughts? My goodies from a recent visit to the Longchamp outlet (Woodbury Commons location) have arrived. This will be a long post.

I ordered a new pair of sunglasses last week. I wanted a pair of totally black glasses. They're very nice and i really like them but.....the case is soft fabric. I think that's rather odd. It's well made but soft and I don't think it will protect the glasses. Am I being too whiney about this?? I want a hard leather lovely Chanel eyeglass case. Have any of you received this type of case? What do you think?
