I am fairly sure I want the ballon bleu steel/rose gold with Roman numerals (not diamond numbers). They didn’t have this in the store so I’m trying on the all steel and the steel/rose gold with diamond numbers. I am waffling between the 28mm vs the 33mm on me.

In the pics, one of the all steels is a 28, the other shows the 33, and the steel/rose gold is 33.

I’d love to hear opinions as to which size looks best because I’m very torn! I have fairly small wrists but am an hourglass mid size frame and 5’8 for reference! It’s also hard for me to picture what they will really look like when the links are fitted properly. Thanks all!

Also how do you shorten the strap if you want to hand carry? Sales associate said to tie knot in the chain. Is there another hack you ladies use?

I’m thinking of getting a chanel flap bag. Which would you buy and why. I like the look of both . Chanel’s quality seems to be lacking in recent years.

I am considering two birkin 30s. Both from a reputable consignment store, not local so I have only seen photos.

One is tomate and the other is Potiron.

I have always wanted an orange bag but my favorite color of all time is on this bottega clutch that I sold to Fashionphile last month. I was obsessed with the color, just couldn’t make the daytime clutch work for my lifestyle.

Here is the bottega I loved. Because I loved the BV, I am gravitating towards the tomate but also think the Potiron is so rich.

I wear lots of bright colors and muted neutrals. My closet is pretty diverse in tone but I love bright bags.

I have a mini Anjou and considering to get the Croc Universal to secure the bag.
I don't feel safe carrying an open bag.

On the website, it said it's for soft bags like Saint Louis and Anjou.

Anyone has the experience with it? Is the magnet very strong? Can you open it with one hand?
Will it look too big on the mini Anjou?

I would love to add a new pair of Magic earrings and cant decide betwen the one or the two motif.
I have the magic hammered YG one motif and love them. I have tried the one motif in MOp and love them as well.
Now I also love the two motif but never tried them in mop so I am wondering how they look on.
Of course they are not available to try on .

I have sold all my minis and am ready to bite the bullet and accept the price tag for the last time…

I LOVE pink, it makes my heart sing but my head says beige because of the history behind chanel and beige, and resale value let’s be honest (my husband brings home our bacon and you never know what could happen).

Planning on moving on to Hermes next (in quite some time, would like a TPM Éveline in chai or étoupe and can only dream of a mini Kelly) UNLESS chanel appoint a new creative director.

Just want to make everybody aware that Rebag might be having issues with their payments. I had a significant amount of money in my "rebag wallet" and tried to do an ACH transfer, ironically the same day the SVB (Silicon Valley Bank) went under. Every single ACH transfer that I attempted failed. I called customer service and they kept telling me that there was nothing wrong. A day later I asked for my funds in the form of a check. They mailed me the check but it was returned a couple days later by my bank for insufficient funds. Today, I called customer service and they asked me to send a copy of the check to them. When I was about to take a picture, I saw that Silicon Valley Bank was their bank. So needless to say, I probably lost my money. I am sharing this so everyone is aware of what happened to me.
I will email customer service and proceed as they asked me to. If they will refund me the money or not, I don't know as of yet. All I know is that my ACH transfer requests failed and my bank did not honor their check for lack of funds.

Hi lovelies, I am at a point of curating my bag collection, ideally to reduce the number of bags I own and retain only the pieces that I love most.

I have a few small bags in my collection and for some reason, I am gravitating towards roomier bags now. I have the small coco handle in iridescent pearl caviar which is really cute but I find a bit fussy to use. Yes, it can carry my essentials but it’s a fickle to take things in and out due to small space. In addition, I find it a bit difficult to match the color with my wardrobe so I am not reaching for it as much.

I’ve recently tried a Reissue 226 and I love the size, just right for my frame at 155cm and average build plus it’s roomier so I can take my things in and out without a fuss. I have limited funds so I am thinking of selling the coco handle to fund the reissue.

I'm planning on adding the beautiful graceful MM to my collection soon. My only concern is that i would like to add a longer strap - not sure, if i would like to wear it cross-body as well. I don't mind it being on the bigger side, i love my neverfull GM.
Can you recommend good, possibly adjustable straps that would fit the bag? I know, some people added the VVN strap, but honestly, it is a bit expensive for a strap.

I’ve stopped buying Chanel since the pandemic (who needs more bags to grow mould?). In fact, I’ve sold a handful, put into savings, and am keeping a few that I find they are classic to be kept forever (and passed down to my princess).

I’m quite a red person (my current and last cars are red lol). I have two red Chanel bags currently.

I’ve no desire to add more Chanel mainly because I feel I have been there done that (at least to me). I’ve had owned CFs of all sizes (small to maxi), reissues of all sizes (mini all the way to 227), mini rect/square, Gabrielle, vanity case, GST/PST/PTT, half moon woc/bag, black/blue/beige/white/grey/pink, and some other models I can’t even remember, etc etc. They are all lovely indeed. But I no longer feel the need to own so many and I want them to be used, regularly.

I’ve bought at least 8 medium CFs in my active C days, in SHW/LGHW/GHW. Last standing is the GHW in black caviar. It’s the most beautiful piece of CF I’ve had owned. But, I don’t use it enough. I’ve been asking myself why and I believe it’s because it looks too formal in GHW. I want to wear a CF any day. Somehow medium CF in that combo doesn’t quite gel with my weekend mode.

Then suddenly boom, I saw a 12A red medium CF. Those who know 12A, know.

Does it fit into a more casual feel? It’s SHW obviously for that season. I wear my other red CF (jumbo SHW) casually too. I don’t think I’ll be tempted with any other red however we’re talking about 12A here. Ive been keeping my eyes open on this red for years. Thought not desperately seeking but now that it appears right before me, I have a chance to consider.

Do I sell the black to get this red or have both?

So I was on the RM website, and I see bottle green everything is on sale… of course the Julian is on sale $149… plus the extra new sign up 15% off, you know my mouth was watering. When I go to order the next day… OUT OF STOCK. My goodness that was fast. Is it always like this with her sales? I know next time if I see something I want buy it with no hesitation….

It's time for me to buy a new Chanel! I have a black GHW medium in caviar and a beige claire GHW jumbo in caviar!

At first I was looking for a white Chanel, and I've found a beautiful Jumbo in white caviar with SHW. I love it but I'm scared it could look too alike my beige claire!
Then, I've found another two stunning bags.
They're both medium in lambskin, one electric blue in excellent conditions, one is a beautiful pink in very good conditions. I love them all. The jumbo is my favourite size and I was looking for a white bag but I'm scared it might look too alike my beige claire. The pink one is my favorite colour but it's the one in ""worst"" (still very good!) conditions, and for the blue one... I LOVE the colour, when I first see it I was WOW (and I'm still) but I'm scared it might bore me after some time maybe?

I really love this d-lite bag but I would prefer to wear it cross body and I’m tall (5’ 10”, 177 cm). Has anybody had any luck extending the strap with a chain extender? I figured I could attach it at the back where it’s less obvious. I’d be grateful for any recommendations.

So…ashamed to admit it, but went down the PoshMark Live Show rabbihole last night…and LOVED it.

Got a notification that one of the bags I was watching was going to be auctioned off, so being that I clearly have no life I clicked in and watched and tried to figure out wtf I was doong for a while. But man how exciting!
A couple things went pretty high IMHO, but everything else went low, and there were about 120-140 of us sitting with rapt attention for like an hour and a half.
Most fun I’ve had in a while without spending a ton or eating 200 calories. But I imagine it is specific to the person and stuff being auctioned. Anyone else like these or am I just a desperate fool for interaction?

Hi! I bought a moynat bag from moynat.com the other day. After that, I saw a valextra bag in a color that only bergdorf goodman has. Then when I researched about BG here, I was shocked to know that some tpfers received fakes from NM, Saks and even bergdorf goodman. I also read about loukpeach. One said she will not buy online and will only buy in person at the boutique.

I live in a place where there is no moynat, delvaux or valextra, and my schedule won’t allow me to travel to another country to shop these days.

My questions is is it safe enough to buy luxury bags from the fashion house’s online stores? For example- moynat bags from moynat.com? Are there horror stories of receiving fakes? Is there a reason to worry about my moynat purchase? Reading those stories about receiving fakes from well-known retailers makes me so paranoid.

I'm writing this because I'm about to make a purchase from Saks Fifth Avenue online because I'm not stateside.
So I saw a Snapshot that was released in 2020 and it's on the website and available. Does Saks do this? Do they have old stocks or something? Could this be a red flag in maybe returned bags that are fake?
I'm really paranoid because I saw a lot of posts online about Saks selling fakes? And also their service of returning items is such a hassle! So can anyone give me some advice if I should take the risk and order the bag? I really don't want to end up with a fake. This will be my first time ordering online from Saks.
