Do VCA still give out travel pouches? I purchased the necklace and bracelet past Saturday but the SA told me they are no longer carry travel pouches, they only have soft and hard cases. Is this correct?

Was going to opt for Cartier earrings until I realized the diamond studs weren’t certified until a certain price point (and that was above Tiffany’s). I maxed out my budget for sizing, (0.38 ctw, 0.19 carat each) and higher clarity (VVS2), and they came with guardian backings! Is this normal? I expected the butterfly backings so I was pleasantly surprised

For anyone who owns this wallet please share your views. I'm contemplating getting one but just wondered how the Taurillon leather wears, does the hardware on the front scratch easily? How easy is it to use? Etc etc....

I was wondering what you would do if you realized you had purchased a bag only to find you regretted the hardware color months later. I got a caviar jumbo with ghw from the boutique a few months ago but after using it once, it was clear the gold isn’t really me, therefore I have not worn it since. Opinions? Advice? Part of me feels like I should sell and purchase a preloved one with shw in excellent condition but I know how hard it is to sell off a jumbo for a decent price. Or, look in to finding someone to trade with on a Chanel group but that sounds complex. Tbh, I will likely do nothing except kick myself in the bum .

I'm headed to Paris in about a month for a very special Mother's Day trip with my mom and grandma. I have an idea of some items on my wishlist, but wanted to solicit input (and mostly just ask for someone to talk some sense into me with regards to spending priorities )

For context, I anticipate some major expenses over the next year (new house, new car), so I want to be really thoughtful about my spending leading up to those events, but I also want at least 1 special souvenir from Paris since it's unlikely I'll visit again any time soon.

I have an existing "fun" (i.e. bags and jewelry) wishlist - in priority order:

1. A pair of diamond stud earrings (~3 ctw) - will not purchase in Paris (ideally will purchase from Whiteflash, but these will likely cost upwards of 20k)
2. A pair of diamond hoop earrings (~4 ctw) - will not purchase in Paris (this is definitely a 2024 purchase)
3. Custom Peter Nitz Dream bag - will not purchase in Paris
4. A new work tote
5. A "spring color" (e.g. banana, coral) mini bag (would really love another Chanel WOC - I use mine tons)
6. Versatile watch (I was surprised how much I loved the 2-tone Cartier Santos when I tried it on last month) to wear to work and for day to night
7. A royal blue mini bag
8. A heritage leather (box or barenia) B30

So, I'd only even consider buying a few of these items in Paris (#4-8). I already know I want to get a new spring shawl from Hermes, so I will come home with at least 1 special souvenir even if I buy none of these things.

Purchasing a new bag or a watch would mean I put off my jewelry purchases and/or sell some bags and jewelry that are not being used. I think I will likely sell a couple bags and jewelry items this year or next regardless of whether I make any purchases in Paris (just for peace of mind to move on items I haven't been using), but I'd really not like to be in a position where I feel like I need to sell a bag to make up for major expenses in Paris.

So, if you were me, what would you prioritize? Would you just get the shawl and put an extra $20k towards house/car (the most "responsible" choice)? Just get the shawl and save for jewelry? Or would you get a bag or watch in Paris and postpone the jewelry?

(Note: I'll definitely be entering the Hermes lottery, but as I understand it, chances of getting an appointment and a bag offer are very slim. That said, I would definitely be willing to sell some items for a special bag/experience like that)

If anyone can find me a money tree, I would also be open to that.

Has anyone else had a problem paying online? I've been trying to buy a purse online on the mobile app, for about two weeks. After Authorising the payment with my bank, I popped back onto the Mulberry site and couldn't find the button to say I'd authorised. Consequently, the purse was left in my shopping basket. After several goes and ringing Mulberry my bank card was locked out. I had to go into the bank and the lovely young lady on their Customer Services sorted it all out. It seems that on the phone app the box/button is so small you can't read the text and can't press the button. She just enlarged the button and dada! In came my email and my purse is now on its way.

Hi all, I just bought a Celine Triomphe Classic at the Celine boutique in Tokyo last April 5th. I’m from the Philippines btw and I’m already home. I haven’t used it at all. I just kept it in the dustbag. But earlier when I checked it closely. I found a teeny tiny crack by the stitches. Is this normal or a defect? Am I just over reacting? Is there anyone here with the same issue?

Just checked the Nordstrom website and found a small top handle club bag in Fuschia! Just came on the site today. I have that bag in the med top handle but I love the color and wanted the small size. I put it in my cart and saw it said only a few left so I got it Now its gone Such a happy unexpected buy!

Hello all. I am having quite a wrangle with my collection purely because I have bought way more than I usually would recently.

I feel like I need a good talking to and some perspective and who better than you all

So I have quite a healthy collection which I have amassed over the years. Some I use regularly and some are HG that I would never sell and know that and I am happy with that. I purchased a large black heart bag last year over retail but haven't yet used it. I feel like I bought it as it's kind of a collectors piece but it's expensive and wondering whether to sell. Will I regret it being such a one off?

I also have a maxi which I repurchased when it was about 3.5K and kicked myself then for not getting sooner. I could let that go but feel it might be a regret given it’s now over £8K.

Of late I have purchased a few vanity with chain which are now out of return window but I have a white small sweetheart bag and a woc and 2 card holders which I have purchased. I could return the sweetheart and woc/card holders but they feel really special like they wont be repeated. Love the adjustable chain on the sweetheart but have concerns with it being white. The woc CC I have never seen anything like that before.

So my options are return the sweetheart, woc and card holders and live with the fact I cant have everything or let the heart go along with something else?
