Hi everyone, I've been offered these 2 pieces and am torn as to which to get. I came to Paris convinced I would get a Vendome exclusive and was never a fan of gold MOP.

Turns out gold MOP is beautiful in person and might be easier to wear everyday. But the blue is so striking.

Any and all opinions welcome. TIA!

A small clip popped up on fb about creating your own customized Tabby; reminds me of the custom Rogues in a way. Nice idea but the options seemed extremely limited, unless it just was a shorter clip.
Anyone try it out?

I'm apologizing in advance for bombing this group with posts like this but I do find your feedback so helpful! If I could, I would keep all of my bags but I've been struggling with the need to sell a piece as I purchased too many bags at once and will be on maternity leave this summer with baby #3. This was definitely poor planning smh! Based on my past posts, I decided not to sell the options I inquired about because I really do use them and I think you were all right in telling me to keep them haha.

I'm deciding between my 2 Alma BB's I have it in DE and Black Epi.

I LOVE both! DE is really the only canvas option that speaks to me. I have the Neverfull MM and Speedy B25 in DE. Those bags are keepers because they function well for mom life and I also use my Neverfull for work. The Speedy B25 has a totally different function but one could argue that it is very close to the Alma BB style. I love having a piece of Epi leather from LV and would be sad to part with it. I like how edgy it looks with the chunky silver hardware and it also gives a nod to the more quiet luxury vibe if I'm going for that look. I'm leaning towards parting with my DE Alma BB for these reasons.

Below, is my modest bag collection for reference. I sold off so many contemporary bags to start my luxury collection and I'm actually at purse peace right now which is nice because my choices were good BUT the timing was bad since I won't be working. Not that you have to match jewelry to hardware BUT for reference, I am a Tiffany's silver girl hence the draw to silver hardware bags.

I’m looking to get an 8-10mm Hawaiian heirloom bangle in the near future. I’m really struggling with 14k vs 18k yellow gold. My main concern is that 18k will be too delicate and warp/scratch with daily wear. Anyone have thoughts? I know things like the Cartier love are 18k and they seem to do fine with daily wear. I’m just hoping this is true of a larger and somewhat thinner piece (1.5mm thickness).

Have three options that I'm trying to decide on....Totally MM mono, Alma BB or empriente Montaigne MM. I have a Totally MM mono on order. It was in really good condition so thought I would at least look at it. I have the canvas Montaigne MM so was considering the empriente version. Any suggestions/thoughts?

Hi all. I just purchased a vintage Chanel double flap in the small size from approx the year 2000 (series 6).

It came with a black dustbag with the white Chanel branding but had no drawstring, as in it appeared to just be a sack not that the drawstring was missing. Is this normal?

Wondering if all authentic BV bags have leather lining? Were there maybe alternatives in vintage BVs?

Just wondering if you think the small Clash bracelet would be complimentary to the double head panthere bracelet ?

I've just sold my second item ever on ebay. I notice when they calculate their commission the include the price of shipping. that doesn't seem right to me. but I guess there's no way around it. the seller pays me for shipping and they consider that the money I got even though I have to give it back to ebay when I print the label

Hi all, I’m thinking about a possible milestone birthday gift for later this year. Nothing is set in stone, but I’m debating getting either:

- A “casual” solitaire necklace for daily/frequent wear (something bezel-set, akin to the Cartier d’Amour or Tiffany DBTY or similar). Considering a diamond or sapphire.

Or:

- A nice dress watch for occasions. (My everyday watch is my Apple Watch.) The only issue is I’m WFH nowadays and would only wear the watch sometimes for special events. I’m not sure of the watch brand yet—maybe Cartier or Hermes (I like the style of the Nantucket bracelet chain), but I’m open to ideas. (Budget would be under $5K and I like classic, understated styles.)

I believe a high-quality watch would be a better long-term investment, but then again, it likely wouldn’t get as much wear as a necklace.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the best choice here. Thanks!

I used my Trendy CC So Black for the second time. I baby this bag and have no idea how I got 2 scratches on the CC hardware. I just want to cry. Is there anything I can even do about this? Hi! I was wondering if anyone has tips to wear the belvedere as a shoulder bag (like with a 10-12" strap drop) rather than cross body or long drop off the shoulder? I couldn't figure out how to double up on the strap some how. TIA!!

I’m trying to help my mom with her next bag purchase. She’s looking for a medium size crossbody, everyday leather bag. She is NOT careful with her bags and needs something durable with easy access (no turn lock closure- either a flap or a magnetic closure).

I’m looking for some help identifying other options for her. To give you an idea of her preferences, this is what she has explored and liked/disliked so far:

• Lady Dior medium: this is probably her favorite of the bags she has explored so far, but she didn’t like the grained version and I fear the lamb is too delicate for her to wear daily (she is one to shove things under airplane seats, into her larger carry-on, etc)
• Chanel jumbo: loves the style but can’t deal with the turn lock closure
• Chanel 19: she thought it was too trendy
• Louis Vuitton Capucines medium size (PM? Can’t remember what it’s called these days): she likes the style but it might be too heavy to carry all day
• YSL lou lou: She did not like the style and felt it was too puffy, but liked the magnetic closure

Any other ideas?

I recently bought a bag online and had to return it. I went to a MK Store to do the return. I was puzzled why I never received a dustbag for this bag that cost $358. Thought either they forgot to send or they would accuse me of keeping it when I tried to return. The sales associate said that MK not include the dustbag. You have to purchase them separately for $5. So I asked if this is for all bags. She said yes. I said so even if I purchased a bag for $898 (the most expensive Michael Michael Kors bag currently) it would not be included. She confirmed. I do not know if this includes the upscale Michael Kors bags or just the Michael Michael Kors collection. Either way what the heck? They must be experiencing hard times to nickel and dime their customers like this after years of including the dust bags. I do not know when this started. Of course then I asked, the SA said "it was always this way". I know for a fact that it was NOT.

For those of you that have purchased an LD, do you recommend new or preloved? Do you feel at the current price for an ABC LD it matches the quality? Unfortunately, I live far from a Dior boutique and cannot feel and examine the quality. Thank you in advance.

So, I have a Diana bag that I love. But one of the bamboo handle bands fell off this week. Now I’m paranoid I’m going to lose one of them. Anyone have a suggestion for a good big charm, short tie to secure the bands? Husband suggested glue. ROTFL.

Looking to see which bag to buy wondering if I can fit my wallet (Card flap or zippy coin purse) and4 ring key holder in either size bag - which one would fit both easier?. Appreciate the help.
