So we bought this old house a few years ago and been renovating room by room. Finally made available to me is the room that will be my walk in closet! I have A LOT of bags and am exploring display/storage options. Below are some pics of the room (sorry for the mess blah blah). I would love to hear some ideas or see shared inspiration! I guess I should mention that there will be some clothes and shoes stored as well, not only bags!

Hi..I'm thinking to buy pre loved mini luggage tricolour smooth calfskin or brown medium phantom like the loewe puzzle famous brown colour. Just want to know if anyone can tell between these two, like which one is heavier? Sorry but I couldn't find anything in the forum about which one is heavier. Also what do you think about tricolour luggage? So outdated? Well not that I really care actually I care more about which one lighter. TIA

Hi, I would like to add medium size bag to my collection, currently I don’t have anything in medium size (it’s either small bag that fits bare essentials or a large tote). Need some help to make a decision, here are my thought:

Loewe puzzle small: pros - I think it’s the most secure bag out of all because of the zip closure and I like that there is no visible logo. Cons - I prefer gold hardware and black colour only comes with silver hardware, so I will have to compromise either with colour of the bag or hardware; I haven’t had the chance to try the bag on but I think it might be bulky on my frame (I’m 156 cm, size 34)

Hermes herbag 31: pros - it would be cool to add Hermès bag into my collection and I like the silhouette. Cons - not easy to get, might to have to pay premium to the resellet.

LV pochette metis in leather: pros - easy to get, available in different colours with gold hardware. Cons - logo is quite visible.

Fendi baguette: pros - lots of colour options available. Cons - doesn’t hold it shape well.

As you all can see I don’t love either options, so I’m open to any suggestion. Thanks

Hello all! Look at my book tote! Something is bothering me and I need advice!

It turns yellow especially on the handle and I wonder if it’s just dirty or what. I use wipes to clean it after every use. I also put this inside my air dresser few times to “sanitize” it. Any tips on cleaning my book tote? Can I drop off to my dry cleaner?

I'm seriously considering finally buying this piece. LV's website says it is only 2.2" wide but it looks wider than that on their model.

I know sometimes their measurements are posted inaccurately, so I'm wondering if anyone who has this bag can measure the bottom and tell me if it is indeed 2.2" wide?

I bought a JUC from a fairly popular Japanese reseller on e b ay (I have purchased from before). I tried to get LegitGrails to authenticate it. They asked me for more pictures and I provided them tons of them. I don't have the best iphone. They said "we are unable to authenticate this item due to its high-risk nature". They offered to give me credit or refund me. I think you have to hold the piece . Weight is one factor. Feel is another. They can't do that. Testing for real gold is another again they can't do that from a picture. I love the bracelet. I don't plan to sell it so I am happy. I do have my ebay paperwork from the seller. I am comparing it to my other cartier items and comparing the Cartier markings. Ultimate test will be when I bring it in eventually to polish it when I travel and am near a store. It is stunning . I have never bought used jewelry except a turquoise VCA from Fashion phile since I can't buy that from VCA .

I had tried to buy another diamond JUC and it went through e b ay authenticate. It went back to the seller because they could not confirm for certain it was authentic. No one wants to take the chance to confirm Cartier JUC it seems. It's interesting. Just kind of a lesson learned for me. I need to stick to the store.
I only did it because I was stomping my feet not wanting to pay the new price increase that was coming up for the diamond version. Thanks for reading me ramble.

Hi guys! In September 2022 I tried a seasonal mini flap from the 20c collection at the store. I liked the color of the bag, a true red, but still could not decide to buy the bag because of a special style. Unfortunately I could not find another bag in perfect red, so I was still searching. Almost 8 months later, a few days ago I was suggested exactly the same bag again at the store. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. However the color of the bag seems to be a little bit different now. It is not as saturated as it was. I had the feeling as if the store sent it to the kind of a dry-cleaning. Due to some chemicals the color has lost the intensity. What do you think, could it be true, that Chanel send the bags from older collections in a kind of spa, renew them and then sell them again.

I’m looking to purchase a full diamond eternity ring to wear with my Love ring or JUC ring, I’ve seen two I like but I’m not sure if they overpower the Love ring.

I am a loyal LV customer. I love the rich brand history and personal history (I have my mom’s 30 year old bag and I remember the trip downtown to SAKs to purchase with her).

I am pretty disappointed in the current strategy to eliminate customers like myself by limiting NF, price increase…all to push leather bags at a higher price point.

I don’t own any other brand with the exception of some vintage coach. I am looking at the YSL Lou Camera bag.

Any recommendations on quality bags in the LV canvas price point???

I recently bought a brown saks potts coat. It's perfect condition, but there is a weird almost marijuana leaves like smell on the leather but not the fur. . The person I bought it from does not smoke. Looking on the internet, I found that some times the tanning process can cause this type of smell. Has anybody experienced this with leather Coats? And how do I get the smell out?. I've wiped it down with water twice and let it air dry outside . I'm really hesitant to put anything on the coat. Please help Thank you

Does anyone own both a first and a small city who can post size comparison photos or can speak to the difference in what they hold? Can’t find any comparisons on the site or online - usually I find the first with classic City comparisons or the city/small/mini comparisons.

For reference: I own a classic size city and a mini city. I’m looking for a size right in the middle still with the same style shape, depth, and shoulder strap. I was recently in store looking into a new small bag, was originally looking at the Alma bb but was distracted by the Ellipse pm. What are your experiences with this bag? I have not seen any of the new reissued models in the wild, why is it not more popular, is it to dated?
Does anyone know the differences between the vintage models and the newly reissued one ??

I've been interested in buying a Celine bag for awhile now, and am seriously considering the canvas Triomphe bucket bag in the white canvas. I've gone into the Celine store a couple of times now and it is always a frustrating experience. They have the sales associates lined up at the front of the store and one or more of them JUMP on me one foot in the store peppering me with small talk and questions then they follow me through the store not giving me any time to breathe - and even when I ask for it they don't listen. I've purchased from many of the other luxury fashion houses and haven't experienced such aggressive overt behavior like in Celine. So - I went into the South Coast Plaza store last week and right away there were two women who "claimed me" and did the behavior I described here. I tried on a couple of bags but made it clear I wasn't buying that day. But then I discovered one of their fragrances that I really liked and expressed that to her - but I had to ask for a sample - and she was reluctant to give me one - and then she said she would get one for me - went into the back and disappeared for about 10 minutes! So I wandered around the store feeling awkward and uncomfortable and finally told the other SA that I don't know where the SA went but that I had to leave. About 10 minutes later the SA texted me (because she insisted on contact information even to make me a sample of perfume).

I'm the type of shopper that needs time to interact with the merchandise and needs time to breathe and think. I went to the outlet store at Cabazon yesterday and it was the same thing! They literally chased me out of the store with their incessant small talk and stalking behavior.

I sold high end retail for many years and I know how it goes but I feel STALKED when I go into the store and I don't feel like it is a luxury experience. Has anyone else experienced this too and feels this way? I think if I decide to buy the bucket bag I'll just buy it online. Has anyone purchased online and do you get the bag/box/ribbons like an in-store purchase?
