Hi everyone! In the market for a white/cream bag for the summer and to wear with my navy prominent wardrobe, lol. I have and LOVE the medium Aphrodite in red and I am eyeing getting the white one. I am ok with and have multiples of certain bags in different colors. OTH, the large Diana in white is also gorgeous. My only issue is that I may grow tired of the bamboo. My daughter and sister love the Diana because the bamboo is so unique. My mom votes for the Aphrodite because it is more classic in her opinion. The Aphrodite is also a great price. The Diana is hard to justify at the almost 4k price.... Thoughts?

Hi all! Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask (it's been a while since I've been active on here).

I have a Monogram Eclipse Keepall and the hardware is gunmetal. However, upon looking at the website, I noticed that the hardware pictured is very silver looking (which is not how my Eclipse Keepall looks IRL).

Did they change the color of the hardware that Eclipse pieces come with, or is it still gunmetal (and just inaccurate on the website)? The only reason I ask is because I am thinking of purchasing another Eclipse piece, and I am wondering if the hardware will match my Keepall!

I wanted to start a discussion thread on a new leather type I’ve seen in a few Men’s leather goods, Galop d’Hermès

I recently acquired my Kelly Depeches 25 and interested to see if we can compile some knowledge about this leather!

There’s very little online that I can find, beyond the fragrance and a vintage bag of the same name.



My initial observations:

• Rigid and stiff, but lightweight
• A more variable grain pattern, not as uniform as heat-pressed leathers like Epsom
• A flatter and less pronounced grain compared to Togo and Clemence
• A slightly larger grain compared to Togo and Clemence
• Little to no veining
• Dye saturation is not as deep as other leathers like Swift. In some light, the Black almost looks like Plomb / a very dark grey.
• According to a source, it is a vegetable tanned leather, so it should develop a more prominent patina
• Currently a matte finish but I suspect it might develop into a satin finish
• It doesn’t have a strong scent

My boyfriend purchased a gucci Ophidia tote for my birthday last year on july 27th from flannels.
I have never used this bag as im a mum to a baby girl and still used a changing bag until recently. Today I decided it was finally time to take my gucci bag out but after just 4 hours of use the colour on the brown leather at the very bottom point where the handles attach looks like it’s actually rubbing off!! This bag was kept under my arm and i was only wearing a white cotton shirt so nothing that i was wearing could have caused this. It is also on both sides. Bag has been stored in its dustbag in my wardrobe with my other bags and definitely wasn’t like that before it was taken out today.
I have taken it to flannels who have basically told me nothing they can do. Gucci have said they will take a look in the boutique so this is my next step. Has anyone seen this before or does anyone know what gucci will do to help me if anything?
I have all receipts and the bag is clearly as new other than this issue so hoping they understand even though it was purchased last year.

Hi all! I am new to Van Cleef and I am so looking forward to buy my first piece. I am debating to get the hammered or the guilloche pendant in yellow gold. I want a piece that I could pass down to my daughter some day I considered getting the 5 motif bracelet, but I think it is not really convenient for me with a toddler. From my research, guilloche appear to scratch more easily, though wearing it on the neck might not cause too much scratches. I like that it is very shiny and makes a beautiful heirloom. On the other hand, I love how the hammered version is more durable/ less scratch prone. Also, the hammered version is lower in price but much harder to get. I like both pieces almost equally, though I am more leaning towards Hammered due to the lower price Which would be your preference? Thank you so much for your insights!

Hi does anyone know what the maximum length of the new adjustable wide guitar straps are? The website says 95 cm but that is too short for me. An extra 10 cm would be a game changer.

I have the olive leaf narrow band ring since 2013 if I remember well. Never used it because I had to wash my hands a lot at work. That's not the case anymore.
Will you use it as everyday ring? My bracelets are silver and earrings too ( not branded and they were a gift from my teenager days) but I wear a rose gold open heart elsa peretti. ( was a gift too)
Will the silver ring look bad if I wear a rose gold necklace?

Hi all, I've been reading the different threads here and watching YouTube videos, but still having a difficult time deciding between the Boulogne and Speedy B20, and will appreciate hearing your opinions please for a daily crossbody bag. I've tried both on.

My daily bag is a monogram PA. I have a Neverfull MM DE and Speedy B25 Black Emp I use when with the kids. I know I want the Alma BB in black epi later this year.

Boulogne Cons:
- I don't like wearing it with the gold chain because of the noise it makes rubbing against the monogram anytime it moves, chain can just be removed and used individually though.
- To me, the strap on crossbody setting isn't comfortable at the shoulder when wearing a tank top due to the buttons.
- The interior fabric seems loose and the sides dimple, I worry about canvas cracking longterm?

Speedy B20 Cons:
- I don't mind the guitar strap, it's comfortable.
- It's boxier than the Boulogne so sticks out more

If you coupd pick a 10 Motif for daily… would it be MOP (which is beautiful but lots of of and on) - Hammered Gold 10 Motif? Or Guilloche 10 Motif? All yellow.

Hi all, I’m new to this part of the forum and would love some help! I have decided I would like to buy the padded cassette to my collection and have found two preloved ones in very different colours. One is a red with a pink undertone, while the other is a purple patent colour. Which would you all recommend? The patent is unusual, but I’d worry about stains etc on the red one! I didn't wear much perfume during the pandemic because I was going into medical facilities everyday, and we weren't going out much. So it's been a few years since I wore perfume. Tonight I was dusting off my dresser and noticed that my two bottles of Chanel Chance have significantly evaporated. In fact there's barely any left in one bottle. The tops were on tight. What the heck? I'm really bummed because I think Chanel has changed the formulas since I bought these bottles.

Meanwhile I have a couple bottles of Karl Lagerfeld's Chloe from the '80s that are still mostly full.

Has anyone else experienced evaporation from Chanel bottles? And is there anything special you do to prevent evaporation from any perfume bottles?

Did the Alexa ever come without a "made in" label?

I've seen some threads discussing other bags that don't have them but not seen any mentions of the Alexa.

Lovelies! I need your help deciding please! I am torn between Evelyn and Jypsier! I used to have Evie but stopped reaching out for her and essentially sold it… didn’t like how “loose” she felt and didn’t like the open top. Loved the capacity, quality, H at the front and the back pocket.
Jypsier caught my eye but I am not sure if it’s made to be an everyday bag. How comfortable is it? How easy is it to wear?
What are your thoughts please on both of these beauties?
