Hi! I have been having Double Flap regret! I bought the Medium Caviar Black Double Flap and I am wishing I went bigger. Large or Jumbo. I bought during Covid and thought the smaller size would be great for going out/weddings, etc. but now wishing for the bigger one. Please convince me I made the right choice with the Medium... haha. For reference/I am 5'10" (for bag size purpose sake)

Please help me decide what handbags are more timeless.

I’ll start with mine.

Just asking out of curiosity. Regardless if the resale I will always buy Bv bags. I love bottega and own multiple BV bags. Obviously the hyped bags at the moment hold most of their value (for a while) but most BV tank immediately after you purchase. Why do you think that is? In my opinion bottegas quality surpasses majority of the designer houses. Their designs are unique and timeless. Feel free to share your opinions!

I want to add one of the Celine Triomphe smaller style bags (either the chain or shoulder style) in black leather, as I need a good/small going to dinner, going out, wear to events type bag but something that could be worn to a dressy event but also with jeans and a blazer. My question for the group is - is the shoulder style too casual to be dressed up? Is the chain style too dressy for every day dinner out? Would love your opinions!

I was debating the triomphe WOC but it's not my favorite as compared to the shoulder and chain styles. I don't like that the clasp on that bag is a button you have to press into the bag to close. That mechanism will cause the bag to crease in over time (and I'm a crazy person and take pristine care of my bags, lol).

Not ironic (although there is irony) not shocking (although there are 'brave' moments) not ugly-is-beautiful (although it is aesthetically challenging).

It's been another half year since my last reveal and my H itch has produced some delights that I'd love to share with all of you dear friends. I've been collecting H for quite awhile now, so I won't get something unless it truly calls to me. Fortunately, all these do!

1. I've had many evies but this is my first mini; the addition of the wonderful 7RP insert, which turns it into a wallet, made this decision a no brainer. I also attached a gold H filou glove clip, which I use to attach my keys- it frees up more space inside for other items.
2. I've always loved the double sens 45 and find it to be a perfect all purpose bag. Now that I found a bag insert that enables it to stand upright it has made the bag all the more practical. This is my first bright pop color H bag...and I'm just elated. Rose jaipur is a mesmerizing color, appearing at times matte and, strangely, at other times, more neon. I love salmon/coral shades and can't be happier with this very bright burst of joy, which actually seems to go with most everything. Adding a bambou swift apple air tag bag charm provides even more delicious color.
3. So far in my history I've had only 40cm birkins. It was time to try a 35...and, boy, am I glad I took the plunge. I'm always on the hunt for something different and this swift paille (straw, in French) b35 entranced me from first sight. From what I can tell it was a very rare color...and this light caramel just works so beautifully with so much. That swift birkin slouch, attenuated by the 7rp off-white insert inside, is utterly charming to me. An H SA in Las Vegas uttered, "I just LOVE the color of your bag!". I was humbled...and in quiet agreement. I hope you like it too.
4. I've always loved garden party 36s but I had never seen one in denim canvas before and it, like the paille birkin, just grabbed me. I have never had such a lightweight H bag! It is a virtual feather. I added a MaiTai mink black pom, a Bottega Veneta ID tag, and an H black leather glove holder to dress it up a bit. A mai tai b35 insert offers organization inside
5. Finally, three smaller friends: I love the cotton bain pouches and Robert Dallet's creations for H featuring big cats have been a favorite of mine over the years. When I saw this lovely pouch at the Wynn I couldn't say no. Bleu electrique is one of my favorite H blues...one that has the ability to transfix. This bearn chevre example with gold HW is so soft, so luminous. Finally: I've been accustomed to seeing and owning epsom compact silk in wallets, but until this spring I had never seen one in barenia. I had to say yes. The pull tab is in silk on this example (vs barenia in the epsom versions) and every touch makes me appreciate this even more. I'm smitten.

Hi! Does anyone have a bag with a heat stamp without a tree? My preloved bayswater has the oval leather piece on the inside with the metal tag and the word Mulberry but no tree logo in front of the text like my other bags. Was this a thing at somepoint or do I have a fake on my hands?

I am always so undecided and always appreciate ALL the help and opinions I can get. I finally think I have decided to get the POOCHETTE METIS .. I did in fact last year get the Celine belt bag over the Metis- but since have still wanted it. I now cannot decide ON COLOR OR MATERIAL..

So I am wanting the double zip poochette also ( I have a Felice gold chain I can use for it if I don't go with the black empriente leather)

So here are what my options currently are I want the 1. ) Pochette Metis ( I think I want the black emprienete leather in this , but curious if you think the reverse monogram is better option?) or if you guys have any other ideas that may be suitable or similar.

2nd the double zip poochette would you go with the reverse monogram or also the black empriente leather

Or if you guys have other suggestions I am always open. I plan on using the double zip with a chain to for concerts and date nights. I had a Felicie I didnt love it to me was annoying open close I sold it but did keep the chain which I actually use a lot on other bags.

Please can I ask- I have bought my first monogram piece in a long time and it has treated leather (it’s the carryall MM).
I’ve always been a DE buyer so I’ve never needed to worry about the leather. I bought a protective spray to try and prevent any marks, rain spots etc but does treated leather actually need a protective spray applied? Not sure if I should hold back from doing it.

Does anyone have this BV Pipe bag? Does it carry well over the shoulder? I saw it in a store when I was touring and didn’t buy it but I’m considering ordering it now that I’m home. It looked beautiful - just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience. Is the leather soft like most BV leather? Do most BV bags come unlined? Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

I have 2 jumbos classic flap one black with gold he and one beige Clair with gold hw also have a medium black chevron with silver I am wondering if I should sell my jumbos and replace with medium also I will lose money and put more money to get the medium or just keep them .

Hi! I have seen a pre-owned Capucines BB that I LOVE but the hardware is scratched up pretty bad. It doesn't look deep, it's just a long scratch. Does anyone have any idea of the cost to either get the hardware polished by LV or to get the hardware replaced? Hesitant to proceed with the purchase without knowing fully what I'm in for

Hi! Starting this thread to share differences I found between the 2 vintage versions of the monogram Babylone.

1. The general shape of the bag is different between the 2- the leather lined one seems more boxy.

2. The handle position is lower on the leather lined one.
- This results in more of the handle on the leather lined one to droop onto the surface the purse is resting on.

- Although strap length is the same on both versions, the leather lined one has a shorter distance between the edge of the purse and the top of the handle strap when you pull the strap up vertically, because the beginning of the handle location is lower on the monogram part of the leather lined purse.

3. The leather lined one is obviously a little heavier but the difference is not as great as I thought it would be compared to the one lined with Alcantara.

*** if you had to choose between these two versions, which one would you choose? The Alcantara lined version is an overall better shape in terms of the vachetta and the glazing.

The leather lined one has glazing that needs to be touched up at some point, and the inside pockets are all peeled and sticky and I would need to try to clean them out in order for them to be usable. However, in past posts, it seems that people generally prefer the leather lined one for its durability compared to the Alcantara lining, and seem to praise her overall quality of the leather-lined version?

I'm having a hard time choosing between having a purse with the leather lining and then perhaps fixing up the glazing later on although I don't know how important that is to do, maybe it's just cosmetic?

Or go with the Alcantara lining one which might not be as durable but the whole purse is generally in a bit better shape in terms of the glazing. The canvas itself is about the same. I think I could clean up the potato on the leather lined one to decrease the appearance of some of the watermarks.

Last time I was in Hawaii was 2018 and I purchased the limited edition Neverful (says Hawaii on the bag). Is anything being sold this year? I saw one briefly appear on the LV website, but it was a large Neverful and it was only on the website for a day or two.

Just took my first online look at the new C'est Dior bag lineup. I do like the medium size bucket bag (in the tan or black leather). Not a fan of the signature bags with the gigantic CD on them. Next time in Zurich will check them out in the Dior store (if they're available).

So I had a bad flood in my home and I managed to salvage my white caviar Chanel flap and a Chanel lambskin black clutch.

The white flap is in pretty bad condition... it’s been stuck for 2 months so I’d like to send it somewhere to a specialist to get it cleaned right.
I’m assuming the black clutch is also in bad condition but because of the color it’s harder to see.

I’m located in NYC so if anyone knows something local that would be great but I’ll send it out anywhere also!!
