Hi all. I just received this beautiful wallet from my husband as a Mother’s Day present. He ordered it online, and they offered a free hot stamp which he did.

However, it just arrived and the hot stamp (and logo stamp) looks very sloppy, in my opinion. I think it is due to the nature of the leather texture, but am I being too picky? Or should I take this to the boutique for a replacement?

During one of my VCA visits I tried an Alhambra small watch model (Alhambra full bracelet). I liked it a lot and it would work with all my other MOP, Onyx and GMOP pieces. At the same time I am not quite sure if it won’t be too much Alhambra. What is your experience? I would be grateful for your advice and stories.

I find I rarely reach for my big or heavy bags as it expends more energy to carry them. Especially in summer in blistering heat, I hate too much on my person.

When I pack a very small bag I keep a contact lens case with solution in it to avoid carrying bottles of solution.

I also use good primer so I can leave my makeup at home and the face stays at least 12 hours.

I'm always on the hunt for the thinnest wallets. Most places can search your number for loyalty programs so I can leave those cards at home.

Foldable phones and small phones save valuable real estate in a bag.

Sample sized fragrances and lotions don't take up much space and can be gotten free from many retailers.

Pocket tissue packs and small hand sanitizer tubes are handy.

I have been contemplating buying 1 for years, but i am still stuck choosing between the Micro or Mini size as an everyday work bag.

I purchased this quilted burgundy Chanel Coco Handle with a snakeskin handle in Fall 2018 from Bergdorf Goodman. I bought it over the phone since I live in another state. The sales associate sent me photos before I paid, and at the time, I didn’t notice anything wrong.

When the bag arrived, I didn’t inspect it closely. Life got busy, and then COVID hit. I kept reaching for my black bags and never ended up using this one. In 2021, I came across a few discussions about issues with Coco Handle bags — tilting forward, missing stitches, uneven shape, etc. That made me go check mine.

To my surprise (and dismay), all three of the Coco Handles I purchased in 2018 (from both BG and my local Chanel boutique) had flaws:

One had a missing stitch on the exotic leather handle, another had a back pocket sewn on at a crooked angle, and the worst one — the burgundy bag I’m writing about — has a very visibly crooked handle, tilted to the right.

At first, I thought it had been stored poorly. But when I checked the original photos sent to me by the sales associate, I saw that the handle was already crooked when I bought it 😞

By that point (late 2021), Chanel had already discontinued exotic leathers. The SA I used to work with no longer worked at BG, and over three years had passed — too long for any kind of return or exchange, even though the bag is completely unused, with all hardware still covered.

I put it away again, hoping I’d get over the flaw — but here we are in 2025, almost seven years later, and I still haven’t used the bag. I love the color (I don’t own any other burgundy bags), the size, and the exotic handle, but I keep picking it up and putting it right back down because of the crooked handle.

I’m wondering:

• Has anyone else had this issue?
• Has Chanel repaired something like this (even for a fee), especially now that exotic leathers are discontinued?
• Is this kind of crookedness a known manufacturing defect from that time?

I’m attaching both current photos and the original ones from 2018.

And P.S. — I’ve noticed several used Coco Handles from 2018–2020 on the resale market with similarly crooked handles. I wonder if those were sold that way from the start, or if it’s a flaw that develops with use?

I'm currently looking for pre-owned Celine Luggage Nano bag. Does anyone know or the hardware of Celine Luggage Nano bags has always looked the same? Or have there been variations through time? I noticed two variations of what Celine Luggage Nano hardware looks like (see photos attached). The one on the right has a curved ring attached to the base, while the other one has notches at the top.

I am currently in the market for a Bottega hobo bag and I can’t decide between a large Hop and a small Jodie. I like the look of the Hop, but I’m a little worried about the pointy corners. The Jodie has a pretty slouchy look and I like that it has a zipper, but it’s more common to see someone with a Jodie than a Hop.

In your case, if the choices were just between a large Hop and a small Jodie- which one will you get?

With gold prices rising, I am trying to figure out what to do. What is everyone doing about jewelry price increases? It seems that these increases are happening more and more frequently and now with tariffs, who knows what is next.
I am thinking I should buy what I can now, but I would like to hear everyone’s thoughts.

Hi All - I would be very appreciative if you could give me your thoughts! I was so happy to finally receive my dream bag - a B30 in gold Togo with gold hardware from my boutique. After getting home, I was checking the paperwork and realized that the serial number/blind stamp listed both on the receipt and on the box do not match the serial number on the bag. I’ve brought up with my SA but am getting push back that the only solution might be waiting for another one to come in (which I am worried will just never come after complaining about this). I am not going to sell it anyway, but I don’t think it’s right that I don’t have a correct proof of purchase, and at the same time, I don’t really think it’s fair to wait months or who knows how long for another? What would you do? Has this happened to anyone before? It seems to me like it was just in the wrong box but my mind obviously goes to other, worse scenarios! Thank you!

Looking for advice! I made an exciting purchase and bought my first Chanel bag in October 2024, a white small Coco Handle. I’d been eyeing both the white small Coco and the Chanel Kelly for a couple years. I was told by my SA that the Kelly wouldn’t be re-released, so I pulled the trigger and bought the Coco Handle. Of course, the Kelly came back a month later in November but was too late to exchange. My SA texted me this week that I can now I can preorder the white Kelly if I still want it. I don’t have a huge bag collection (I own one Chanel bag and 6 bags in total), so I’m torn if I should get the Kelly or not. Would owning both in white be redundant? I really only want to purchase the Kelly in white cause I love the look of a chic white evening bag. I use the Coco Handle (love the top handle + shoulder strap for daytime), but the Kelly feels more me for evenings and I like that it is a cross body. Should I buy the Kelly and keep both? I know I could also sell my Coco Handle but I’d hate to lose money on it since I do it and is still in perfect condition. Thank you for your help and advice!

Alright - here is the issue. I have a lovely vintage turn lock convertible clutch and I can't determine it's color. This is relevant because I need to source a hang tag for her. Here are the deets: Her serial number is 493-0646. Based on my research here, that tells me that she is pre-1970s. However, all my Coachies are telling me her color is putty. Here's the thing - I don't think putty came out until the 1980s. So I'm kind of stuck. How do we confirm putty came out pre-1980s?)

Lost my wedding band. I used to own a 8mm but found it too big and bulky. I was thinking of ordering a simple rose gold wedding band. I was thinking 6mm, but wanted some thoughts on the 5mm fit on me. I’m currently leaning to it might be too thing but not sure.

I have recently discovered this heart bangle and I am seriously considering adding the thinner one to my gold stack.
If anyone has this, or has tried this on, I would really appreciate any feedback. It comes in a size 17cm. I have already reached out and asked for it to be made in 18cm, which they replied they can do for no extra charge, but they also informed me that a price increase would be happening soon so I am trying to figure out if this is something that I want to add.

Saw the B.zero on someone recently and really fell in love with it. I have the YG Love cuff--is it weird to stack two cuffs? I haven't had a chance to try it on but was wondering if anyone out there had both and knew how they looked together. Thanks!
