Hello! Was wondering if anyone had this bag and can share modshots and your thoughts on it?? Thanks!!

I recently moved to Colorado and with an elevation at ~8000 ft (~2440 meters), it's really dry and I'm worried about the lack of humidity as it's around 30%. So rather than worrying I may get mold which is the problem in high humidity locations, I worry my bags over time, leather and exotics, may dry out and crack. Anyone here have recommendations? I'm currently using the Boveda packs at 58% but they last about a month so looking for a longer term solution.

I am someone who is obsessed with vintage BV hobos however, with every order of these pre loved models, I find myself disappointed and worried if I'm overpaying. I am also unsure if woven BVs just don't hold up as well due to the delicacy of the leather, and I should lower my expectations when hunting down these vintage bags.
For instance, I bought this large hobo for €1.5k. I love it and it's in a great condition...

...except for this part at the edge:


Am I being too nitpicky with this? Since the leather seems to be good otherwise:


Can the scuffed leather be fixed?

Looking for some wisdom here! Does the Delightful Damier Azur come with bag charm included, yes or no? I'm considering to purchase a preowned bag that does not have a charm, but it's not clear if it had one originally and now it's just missing. Most of them I see for after sale do have a charm attached. This bag is from 2016. Thank you for your help!

I was scouring through our blog stats and noticed that last Monday, June 23, there was a significant uptick in Google searches for this little fella:



Amanda wrote about it in 2012, yet, out of nowhere, thousands of people in the US googled it and landed on our blog post.

Does anyone have any clue why there is a sudden spike in searches? I can't figure it out. Usually it may be a brief mention on a Real Housewives episodes or similar, but judging by the top queries being "notation taillevent" and "hermes taillevent", I imagine it was written about somewhere in an article or book.

Hey besties! I'm trying to choose between these two necklaces (photo attached) and could really use your advice, especially since I'm new to chalcedony.

The first one (on top) has a solid grey look-less striation, more opaque, and a cooler grey tone overall. The second one (bottom) has more distinct striations, which makes it more transparent and gives it that beautiful, layered effect. I also noticed that the lower one seems to shift in tone depending on your skin, which is kind of magical.

I personally love the see-through depth of the bottom one - it feels more alive and dynamic. But... I'm not a huge fan of the curved striations. I prefer the straighter lines like those in the top necklace.

I'm so torn! Please help me decide. I’d really appreciate your thoughts

Not sure if this is allowed on PF, but I sold my 25 bag that was purchased directly from the Chanel boutique on Ebay. I included a photocopy of the receipt. There is literally a 0% chance this bag is fake, but my bag failed the authentication inspection and they're now sending the bag back to me. I have concerns that because the bag has been out of my possession, something could have happened to it in the process (like maybe switching it out for a fake or not handling the bag with care/damaging it.) Is there anything I can do about this? I'm beyond frustrated.

I want this charm so bad! It would go so well with my raffia purses I have. Im in Canada and It's on the Canadian website but has never been available to purchase that Ive seen as Ive been watching it like a hawk. It just says Notify Me.

I contacted a CA from Toronto that Im in touch with but she says so far she's not able to get it. I thought for sure she could somehow work some magic and get one for me through her connections but I guess it doesnt work that way.

I looked on the US LV site and it has a couple stores that show they have it but Im not sure how to go about trying to get it from one of those stores. Im actually traveling to Florida next Friday for a week and was thinking maybe I could get it shipped from one of the stores that have it available to the place Im staying or even an LV store thats close to where Im staying. Do they do that?

Any tips/advice for trying to get this beautiful bag charm?

I want to order this T Smile bracelet in yellow gold, but not sure if I should get size M or L. My wrist is 6”, and the bracelet in M says it fits up to 6.25” and L up to 6.75”. I usually get M in most things, but this seems like it might be a little tight and hard to clasp if I don’t go with the L size.

I don’t have VCA turquoise - but I am on the hunt for a 10 motif and a 5 motif bracelet from reputable resellers.

It’s my 40th bday year and I’m looking to purchase my first. I however need to also sell a bit to purchase. So few things I’m assuming is a yes tbh at selling some lv to fund it is worth it??

I’m looking at the medium 25 in silver I have the opportunity to buy. Since I can’t see it in person for lack of availability I’m still having trouble deciding because I am short 5 foot. Everyone I’ve spoken to loves the medium size more fit more etc and I often need toddler things.

With that said do I sell what I need to to get it?
And anyone 5 foot have the medium you can share photos of it on and or the silver you can share photos?

Hi! I purchased a 22 Bag from the boutique this month - it was in a relatively hard-to-find size/color/hardware combo so I was happy that the SA could help me order it.

Today I stumbled across the price tag - it wasn't attached to the bag; it must have been placed inside the dust bag and just fell out.

On the tag it says "23A" - is it normal for Chanel to be selling bags from two years ago? I hear they might reuse colors from a prior collection, but would have thought they'd at least redo the price tag so it doesn't look like it's "aged inventory". Does this mean the bag was manufactured two years ago and has just been sitting in the warehouse somewhere?? LOL.

Hoping there's a reasonable explanation for this - any insight would be appreciated!

Hi y'all! I wanted to get some thoughts on mixing luxury and mid-range pieces in an outfit.

I have a Rolex that I absolutely love and wear almost daily. But the rest of my wardrobe (bags, clothes, shoes) leans much more mid-range (think $100-$300 max). I’m just personally more into jewelry and watches than fashion or designer pieces.

Does it look weird or feel mismatched to wear something like a Rolex with a bag from (for example) Strathberry, Coach, or unbranded? Does anyone else do this? How do you style your luxury items if the rest of your outfit is more casual or mid-range?

I’m also curious about how it comes across to others - does it seem understated and casual, or does it seem a bit showy without meaning to?

I am looking to buy a watch for an upcoming milestone and could definitely appreciate some help in decision making. Rolex datejust has always been my dream watch for so many years but when I tried Bvlgari tubogas my heart literally skipped a beat.

I believe Rolex is something so classic that I could pass on for generations but tubogas looks so gorgeous and unique. Which one to go for? For context I own a Cartier santos in stainless steel as my everyday watch

Back in 2016 I bought the canvas belt bag in indigo. In 2017 I saw @ryrybaby12 with the same bag in kohl and I had to have it.



In time I stopped working and sold off all of my large old Céline collection except my classic and one micro luggage.

I had sellers remorse over the cabas bags so much. Today whilst out getting a birthday gift for a friend I walked past Celine and here this was in the window. 5 minutes later I was heading off with it. So happy.

What do we think of the collection shown today? I have to say I was SHOCKED that none of the ready to wear had gigantic logos on it. I'm intrigued by some of the new bag shapes — looks like weekenders, variations on the Nil, and elongated EW type variations of the keepall and there are other surprising pieces like a gym bag with a yoga mat holder and multi-pocket keepall.

The lady I purchased off said she purchased it when she was an employee at Fendi. ‘prova’ seems to translate to “test” from Italian - so perhaps it was a code given to employee purchases to prevent resale? Would love to know if anyone has any information!
