your personality type and the choices you've made

  1. Based on Myers-Briggs Personality Type, I am a ISJP ( introvert, Sensor, Thinker, Judger ). Learning this had not only helped me land a career that is fulfilling and satisfying but also made me see other people in different light. I'm curious to know how has your personality impacted your career and the choices you've made. If you want to learn more about personality types, I came across these sites:

  2. Interesting!

I took the first one, and I'm an "ENFP" ( extrovert, intuitive, feeler perciever.) The description is pretty accurate! I wonder how it will play into my actual jov decisions when I make them...

  5. Scarlett,

Good to meet another ISTJ in the forum.

  6. ESFJ
    (Extravert, Sensor, Feeler, Judger)
People of this type tend to be: active, friendly, and energetic; outgoing, affectionate, and talkative; concerned about others and careful to be polite and cooperative; realistic, literal, and conscientious; highly sensitive and easily hurt; organized, responsible, and conventional.
The most important thing to ESFJs is their relationships and helping people in real, and practical ways.

  7. I am ENTJ. People of this type tend to be: friendly, strong willed, and outspoken; honest, logical and demanding of selves and others; driven to demonstrate competence; creative with a global perspective; decisive, organized, and efficient.

    Here are mine:

    Chief Executive Officer
    Network integration specialist
    Management consultant
    Politician/political manager
    Franchise owner
    Corporate finance attorney
    Personnel financial planner
    Real estate developer
    Marketing executive
    Intellectual property attorney
    Investment consultant/planner
    Economic analyst
    Chemical engineer
    Educational consultant
    Judge

I am going for a complete career change here in about a year, so this is kind of interesting, especially since I was thinking of going into finance. I don't know about that bout of politics though. I would probably find that too sleazy.

People at work jokingly refer to me as the slave driver and about how I crack the whip with not just my subordinates but my seniors also.... It's kind of weird to read the above. I wonder how accurate this stuff is.
