they did change the way they do the date codes. it's week/year. so, my azur pochette that came today is 0097 (9th week of 2007) I then ran downstairs to the LV boutique (yes, i have a boutique right here, but elux there is no tax and mr. r****** gives me 4% cash back) and they confirmed that it is a new way of date coding.
I also tried to trade it for a made in france, but she says they only have made in usa, which is what mine is.
oh well. i love it. (i decided to keep it...turns out the shoes are a smidge too small so i'm gonna ebay them).
