Will You Wear it in 10 Years?

Hi! This is my first post to this forum! I'm so excited to find this place and I know some of you here already <wave to MicheleH>!
Anyway, in 10 years I might still be carrying:
1. LV Cabas Piano - it's a classic that I'm still not tired of 3 years running.
2. LV Medium Ellipse - another classic that I've owned since 1999.
3. LV Murakami pink cherry blossom pochette from 2003 that I haven't used since '04 but might carry "vintage style" in the next decade. I still love it (even with all the crazy passe knockoffs around) and have thought about carrying it this summer.
4. My "good" Birkin red leather knockoff unless I acquire a real one.
5. Future LVs that I acquire, of course. I'm thinking about a 25 or 30 Speedy next. That'll definitely never go out of style.

What I will be carrying in ten years:

Mulberrys - love the style and that Darwin leather should last a life time.
Ellingtons - wonderfully understated and well made.
Hand tooled leather bags - I try to choose only really well sewn bags and well tanned leather.
Fyre bags - ditto most of the above.

What I won't be carrying in ten years:

Marc Jacobs Adina - gorgeous, but dated, and the leather seems tender.
Michael Kors tote - love it, but doubt it will last.
Ralph Lauren satchels and hobos - love them, but doubt they will last.
Maxx NY Horsebit hobo - dated.
American West tote - latter-day production and doubt it will last.
Infamously horrible Via Spiga Hobo - I hate it.

I think I will carry all my bags in ten years because they are classic (well, my perf speedy isn't exactly, but I don't think it will be unfashionable to carry it, and I won't really care either since I love it), and I would never buy a bag that only lasts the season or that I don't love.
