Why BF lists the BV Veneta medium hobo as $1,630 when it's $1,490?

Sneaky!!! Even though they listed the incorrect retail price, at least the selling price is still $1304 --which is lower than retail.

They do that a LOT. I had a chat online with a rep about a bag, before Christmas, and gave them links to the same bag on Saks' web site at full price - way less than the BF supposed full retail. The rep said she'd had a supervisor get back to me but - surprise! No one ever did. I'm surprised they haven't gotten in trouble over that - it's a big consumer no-no to list an incorrect manufacturer's suggested retail - especially as there is no real flexibility in what retailers can charge on these bags. BF does offer lower prices but take their retail prices with a big grain of salt as the discounts are not as large as stated.

When the Pyramid 1st appeared on Bluefly.. I noticed they had it listed as the same price as the Sloane. I called Cust Serv.. and she viewed it on BV's website, she put in a request to have it further researched and have the price adjusted. The price has since been adjusted accordingly.. but it took like a week to do so.

They do make mistakes....remember when the medium stamped studded veneta was selling for more than the maxi one?
