iono...maybe tie a bow with the extra length? But I think when it's gathered, the dangly strips would not be as obvious since it would be somewhat concealed by the fold made from the gathers.

No..it's too similar to the Batignolles Horizontal and the straps are too skinny IMO. I do like the mini pochette with the Trunks and Bags logo though.
