To give you an idea of how gold looks in clememce, here is a photo of my gold clemence birkin in natural daylight (without flash). The color in the photo is very, very close to the actual color.

Like Orchids, I was originally searching for a gold togo, per suggestion of this forum. When this gem came up, I coud not refuse. In a way, I am glad that I got the clemence instead, because it is soft, rich in color, and smells good. I love the gold clemence much more than my black togo. My recent purchase of a bolide is also in clemence.

I happen to have a chance to see a beautiful Gold Clemence Kelly of a new friend last night. The colour is slightly different from those I've seen on the same leather. We suspected that it could be due to the dye process. Anyone experienced this too?

sweetie, i'm a die-hard fan of this particular type of leather. unfortunately i don't own a 35 but my JPG is clemence and holds up quite well. no batwings or flopping about.

That would be caramel. I've only seen it in chevre leather. Very pretty colour.

Here is another pic of gold clemence on the left and gold togo on the right. I don't think there is much difference in the colour but the texture, grain and glow is different.
