I'm an avid book reader but haven't been able to read the way I have wanted in the past few weeks due to work so these are some books I've been buying and putting in my queue.

Have not read yet, but was happy to find this novel by Mary Hood. She is the daughter of my Latin teacher in school. I had 2 years of Latin with her mother, a truly lovely educator. She passed several years ago, but have thought of her often over the years. I can remember her talking about her daughter Mary (the author) who was in college at the time.

For any '80s and '90s Nickelodeon fans, I just started reading Slimed! An Oral History of Nickelodeon's Golden Age.
So far it's really awesome, and it's filled with memories and firsthand stories of all the animators and actors from shows like All That, Pete and Pete, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, and all the best shows.
