It is called ADVERTISING. Chanel gives garments and accessories to the people most likely to advertise it well (popular, and beautiful) and sometimes they even pay Kurylenko (or other stars) to wear the clothes. Do you think they just go shopping?lol!!!:P Thiis is also why Chanel and other brands are so expensive. Expensive advertising.

Then a very rich lady will say "wow how pretty Kurylenko is in this dress, I will be just like her if I have the dress.." and go to Chanel boutique to buy the dress.

i always see it as buying a piece of hope

selena gomez looks wonderful in the matthew williamson, it is a fantastic piece for a young girl.
