Metallic colours would look good! It's the flat ordinary colours, like the white, that does nothing for me. Will they be bringing out locks of different colours to match the bags?

I dont have a Paddington at mo - every day in London I see about 20 bad fakes, even in my office.....its too copied now.

Will they continue to produce the Paddy at all, for much longer? Is another question...
The leather on the newer paddies look kinda stiff? The 06 paddy wasn't as smooshy as the 05. The 07 paddy looks like it can sit up by itself?ush: Love the smooshy soft leather of the older paddies. Why would they change that?
Remember, Balenciaga did the exact same thing with their leather?
I am glad I bought my Paddys early on, long before they ever put them on sale. When they began marking them down 50%, it suggests that inferior leather goods and workmanship enables them to maintain their profit levels at deeply discounted prices
^ I think it suggests that supply is outstripping demand. Perhaps, partly, due to the less attractive leather...
I actually like the new leather, it's not as bumpy. The bumpyness put me off paddys in the first place, so I might actually get one of the new ones
That horrid white lock, plate and key combo look to be made of china! I'm sure they'd be just as durable, too.
