what kind of vodka do you put in your penne alla vodka??

  1. This is going to be my first time making this and I'm wondering what kind of vodka I should use? I'm guessing it would affect the test but I haven't a clue since I never cook! thanks for the help!:lol:
     
  2. I've used everything from Grey Goose to Banker's Club and the quality of the vodka doesn't seem to affect the taste IMO. I usually buy whatever mid-range brand is on sale (Smirnoff, Absolut, Skyy, etc), because I like to drink whatever is leftover lol :upsidedown:...

    I love expensive vodka, but I've come to the conclusion that pasta sauce is a waste of Belvedere, Grey Goose, Ketel One, etc...

    Go with a cheaper vodka, although I don't know if I would suggest popov or anything less than $10 :yucky:
     
  4. Yeah, midrange works best. We wouldn't use the Filthy Commie Brand vodka for pretty much anything... except for experiments with fire.
