I agree with star, the LV is much more feminine. The gathered edges are soft and beautiful.

Have you considered the Babylone?

I own this bag and use it every day that it is not wet outside. It is lovely, shapely, slender, and can hold a ton of things (including a small laptop). The bottom is also reinforced, even thicker than Epi leather consistency.

The alcantra lining is very luxurious too. This is a great LV bag at a great price ($990).

Both the Gucci and LV are great! Are the around the same size?

They are about the same size. The LV is a little larger.

I've considered it but I like the Gucci and Batignolles better.

I personally would say go with the gucci if its more of a work bag but the lv bag for summer/spring is just way better.....more feminin!

I have the LV Batignolles Horizontal and really like it, very practical and attractive bag. Get lots of compliments on it too.
