The third Lord of the Rings!!! SOOOO boring! I loved the Hobbit and the first two from LOTR, but the third one I tried multiple times and could not get through it.
War and peace by leo Tolstoy- it took me two years to even read half of the book hahah loved his other novels though. It was a tedious read and too many characters were introduced at once I had to go back and forth to identify who was who.
The Goldfinch. I'm a HUGE reader, but couldn't stick with this one.
It took me an entire year to read it - it was our January 2015 book club book and I finished it in January of 2016. It's tough - and I loved the secret history! I could get through 50 pages, then I'd start another book.
I read Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and hated the ending so much! I started to read the sequel but I just couldn't stand it and stopped shorty after starting. 
Girl on the Train - I really, really wanted to read this book for a long time. When I finally got the book I could not belive how awful and boring it was. I only read about 30 pages and tossed it to the side.
I also hated Gone Girl - this was another book that I really, really wanted to read. My god this book was so boring. I also tossed it to the side after 50 pages. The movie was just as bad as the book.
