"Vintage"

I'm resurrecting this thread to complain that several resellers are now referring to bags from the early 2000s as "vintage"!

According to the Oxford English Dictionary:

b. poet. Wine, esp. of good or rare quality.

As Hermès bags are both good and rare, vintage is an apt descriptor.

What's so wrong with calling them Second Hand/Pre-Owned/D'Occasion/Estate?

I think a 1990's handbag seems vintage because how many bags are really still around and usuable after 10-20 years? I think what is vintage just depends on what it is and what a typical lifespan is.

I really dont understand it when people name something from the 90's vintage to be honest, I mean we were still alive at the time lol!
